Tweet of the Day: "Too grown to still be playing mind games.. When r they going to just let me play ?? I thought the NBA was about showing your everything" -- RebuildCaracter (Lakers forward Derrick Caracter)

Rick Friedman Reader Comment of the Day: "What a mess. This is essentially the same team as last year, minus Odom and Phil. Those who suggest Phil Jackson was an overrated coach are being proven wrong on a nightly basis by Mike Brown. All signs from the front office point to Jim Buss running the team, and the resulting operations are incredibly sloppy. Look at the way they handled the Mike Brown hiring; not letting their star player know and letting Brian Shaw (the guy they should've hired) find out through the media." -- Dave Abbitt
