Kobe Bryant impressed with Tim Tebow

Kobe Bryant and Tim Tebow share a common bond.

They are divisive figures.

Some admire Bryant's dogged work ethic, ability to play through injury and his marveling talent. Others loathe his high shot volume, his off-putting personality and obsessive nature in doing things on his own terms. Some admire Tebow's dogged work ethic, strong Christian faith and inviting personality. Others loathe his sub-par quarterback skills, his public mentioning of God and Jesus and his belief he belongs in the NFL.

One thing is indisputable about both of them.

"The guys wins," Bryant said about Tebow leading the Denver Broncos to a 29-23 overtime playoff victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers. Of course, so does Bryant, who led the Lakers to a 90-82 victory Sunday over the Memphis Grizzlies with 26 points on 11-of-22 shooting with nine assists. More importantly, Bryant has five NBA championships to go along with that.

But even if both Bryant and Tebow figure out ways to win, no matter how ugly, there remains one key difference on how they handle it.

"If he was an [expletive]," Bryant said, "he would tell you right now to kiss his .... "
