June 23, 2011 |  8:23 pm

Dariusmorris The Lakers don't have great draft position, but their strategy is clear. They are stockpiling point guards in the NBA draft, taking Michigan's Darius Morris with the 41st pick and College of Charleston's Andrew Goudelock with the 46th pick Thursday.

The Lakers have another two picks in the second round, 56th and 58th.

Morris, listed at 6-foot-3, set a school record with 235 assists last season as a sophomore and was fifth in the nation in assists per game (6.7). He was third-team All-Big Ten.

Morris attended Windward High in West Los Angeles.

Goudelock, also listed at 6 feet 3, was Charleston's all-time scoring leader (2,571 points) and was fourth on the school career list with 424 assists. He was the Southern Conference player of the year as a senior.
