******REPOST REPOST******

The best thing that happened in these playoffs is Drew grew up into a True Warrior Beast! He is our Future!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Sanctuary (An Ode to Pout Gasol)
Your fiancé has dropped your arse
And now your play has become such a farce
You pout and pout during each timeout
And search the sidelines for her as Dirk wears you out
Perhaps it's Dirk that reminds you of her
She's tall and lean and, like Dirk, has become a blur
You've taken a player I nicknamed No-Blitzkrieg
And turned him into the Second Coming of KG
It's not that he plays such tenacious D
It's just that you're preoccupied with she
And if you don't wake up soon The Playoffs will leave you behind
Like that cute little butt that once treated you fine
And now listen and take a lesson from Kobe during times when your heart makes you weary
Man Up and let the hardwood court be your Sanctuary
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

PS Pout, I've found your next fiancé:

Go Kobe!

Shoot! Shoot! Shoot!!!

I agree with trading Pout Gasol (as stated in previous threads), but his value has been seriously diminished. Would you trade D-Will for Pout after these playoffs?

CP3 is a possibility in a sign and trade since NOH doesn't want to be left with nothing?

Still need a true power forward.

Umm you think that we would start chasing the 3 point shooters after 5 3 pointers how about 9 now. Please lakers don't get embarrass like game 6 in 2008 against Boston.

Ladies and gents It's OVER.

What's wrong can't shot that defense schmes has to be the worst in NBA history. Lamar to much reality T.V. no focus. Man I have never in my life seen a team go down with no effort guard you man help with rotation.

it was over after game One when the lakers were up by 16 in the third and Jackson took out the starters.

Never had momentum again.

Side bet the Laker stay out of the paint!!

Odom asleep again

I hope the Lakers get over 45 points this game lol

Dear Laker Management,

We need a general manager that can actually build a team, not pieces that are locked up to outrageous contracts. We are slow, old, and horribly un-athletic. Our defense doesn't learn from their mistakes and to guard the 3-pt line.

Can you bring in a coach that will instill toughness like Jerry Sloan. He has said his schemes would enable easier baskets that the triangle.

My only question is can Howard-Bynum play on the same floor. I think so.
With a quick point guard and Kobe in his 2 good years left. Pau must be traded. He has no physical or mental toughness. Have you ever seen an NBA player blow on his hands (Is he cold? No..he is a wimp)

Jerry Buss left the team to Mitch Kupchak..who was a bench warmer at best..and now we have this mess. Season tickets will be awfully cheap the next few years for this product.

AN OPEN LETTER TO PHIL JACKSON

Phil, like many of the other Laker fans, I feel horrible for the way things end for our Lakers.

As a fan, I want to tell you that, although I didn’t agree with everything you did as a head coach, I do recognize that your leadership of the Los Angeles Lakers brought so much pride and happiness to the City of Los Angeles, the Lakers organization, and to Laker fans around the world.

It is un-debatable that your expertise regarding the philosophy of basketball is nothing short of genius. This is evident by the level of success your teams have enjoyed. In fact, your record of coaching the most NBA Finals Championship teams certainly won’t be surpassed any time in the near future.

You were able to rescue a collective dream we Laker fans had when you first came to our Lakers…a dream of winning! Winning championships like we did back in the 1980’s, cheering our Lakers as they dominated other teams, feeling that rare sense of absolute joy when our Lakers hoisted the Finals trophy.

Those championship runs allowed us to cheer with our families and friends, as well as complete strangers. We were able to fly our flags from our cars, and cheer from our offices and homes. We were able to brag and boast that we were fans of the very best in professional basketball. And we were happy.

In life, one must realize that nothing stays the same, and that success, even frequent success, is very much fleeting in the spectrum of time. Nothing Gold Shall Stay.

So yes, we do say goodbye to our championship ways…for now. But we don’t say goodbye to the memories we have of our Lakers proving to the world that they are, in fact, the very best. And we have you to thank for that.

Have fun in your retirement. And if you return to coaching, just don’t come back and coach the Miami Heat!

Thank you, Mr. Jackson, for your commitment to the Lakers, and to bringing us fans so much joy. Thank you, and god-speed.

I can't believe what I'm watching. Where is the pride? GUARD SOMEBODY!

This is where nolstalgia gets you. Oooh Fisher hits 1 timely shot in the playoffs and so you let a promising pg Farmar go to new jersey. because you don't want to at least bring Fisher off the bench? We better get JR Smith in here to give us some scoring. get rid of ron and bring back ariza. This was all cause by a lack of discipline. Ron with his corny rap songs. LO with his funky perfumes and corny reality show. UPS marrying a has been star after 2 weeks.

This series is all over not going back to LA, on the bright-side no more expensive tickets for game 5.

Pat Riley is a Genius, he knows Kobe, Pat never wanted Derrick Fisher, Pat played Kobe and Vanessa, Fisher was the only Laker that Kobe would listen to ( thats gotta Hurt ) so Pat Riley tricked the Lakers into signing Fisher for multiple years at the age of 40, Go Mav's Go Vanessa!!!

Lakers have the worse defensive Players in the league. Fisher is stupid! but Phil loves him. Why aren't they sitting on their own player. Kobe is nothing on defense. He goes for to many steals. Pau is a punk period. Artest is slow as a turtle. Lamar stinks on defense.

As a long time Laker fan this performance is utterly atrocious,i can't believe a two time defending champion would go out like this in an elimination game.Where is the defense?can somebody get a hand up and contest a 3pt shoot?Last time i saw a Laker performance like this was the 08 nba finals against Boston.Today i'm embarass to be a Laker fan.Guys where is your Laker pride? Someone please stand up in the second half.

Go Lakers!

Pat Riley is a Genius, he never wanted Derrick Fisher, but Pat Knows Kobe wanted Fish ( the only Laker Kobe would listen to thats gotta hurt ) so Pat snake charmed the black mamba into getting Fish another starting role and a new multi year contract. Go Kobe Go Vanessa!!!

We the fans need to write management to replace Mitch Kupchak. He did a horrible job positioning the Lakers this years and for the 3 years to come. Quick guards blow past Fisher/Blake/Brown and scramble our defense.

The only player today is Kobe, but he can't win it alone. I would keep Kobe, Artest,Fisher,Bynum, they seem the only ones trying to win today. It would be great if Phil Jackson could come back one more year. I feel bad for Kobe, the others need to learn how to play with heart. The Mav are playing with mind and heart. They want to win. I hope they get Kobe some really great teammates that love the game, love to win, and plays from the heart, I know he will end up being a coach one day because of his love for the game, he has had a great mentor to set the stage for the future as a coach.

Thank you Kobe and Phil Jackson for a great year!

Sayonara.

LOL @ hobbitmage

Since my last comment I have been watching in amazement. This is not the Lakers we all know and love. It is embrassing for everyone concern who knows and is a loyal Lakers fan....I can't believe what I am watching. Magic is right, they will need to add some new players for next year. Odom can go do his Reality Show full time, this is depressing. UNBELIEVEABLE!!! Gasol you could have put your feeling aside for the team and your coach! You will lots of time to think about it!

Bynum blows. What a Rick with a p. GO MAVS !!!!!

The Lakers are a bunch of punk a biatches. That's why you losers are about to get swept. Go out like the clowns you are.

Bynom and Odom, who's married to a man, are classless.

Please no Brian Shaw. He falls asleep on the bench. Get rid of all the Phil Protege. We need a different approach. Better tighter defense, boxing out, pick and roll. Mitch is not the GM we need. Bring back Jerry West.

Well,
my NBA season is over. My Los Angeles Lakers are being sent home. I have no reason to watch what's left in the playoffs.

Time to go get Dwight and rid us of the attitudes of Gasol, Bynum and Odom.
The candyman, the weak Spaniard and the pathethic knees of crybaby Bynum..
They can all go cry in their girlfriends or wives laps and wach Kobe and Dwight retain our crown next season.
See you guys next season

Phil I have a non-basketball book for you:

Silent Coaching

They shouldn't let the Zen go out like this in total humiliation.

The King is Dead. The King is Dead. The people ar free, cause the King is Dead!

Ariza won the 1st championship, then Kobe fired Ariza then Kobe broke Bynums knee's out of jealousy. Then this year Pau Gasol started this season on a tear, there was alot of talk about Pau being MVP, but Kobe said " bump that S " and Kobe sank Pau's ship. Trade Odom and Pau, we will take them in Miami, " thanks Vanessa "

"We the fans need to write management to replace Mitch Kupchak. He did a horrible job positioning the Lakers this years and for the 3 years to come. Quick guards blow past Fisher/Blake/Brown and scramble our defense.

Posted by: fanshudwritemanagement | May 08, 2011 at 02:11 PM "

That point has been made for a while but everyone from the players, the fans, and the analysts said it didn't matter because NO ONE can guard the quick guards.

Congrats to the mavs. At least Kobe is classy congratulating mark cuban and the coach.

Hey Lakers:

Not a loss, a win no matter what. But what happened? Personal lives out of order? Too old? What IS happening in the locker room? I was hurt to see you all just turning around in delusion on the floor. You never showed your prowess as a team, connected to get the job done. Where are you, Lakers? Your attitude of failure was obvious from the gate. No team is too hard for your to beat. Too laissaz faire, guys. Too much confidence and you couldn't transition when the chips were down. Your expectation levels were out of skew all the while.

Worst of all, we must be held to a standard of professionalism at all cost. Terrible, terrible Bynum. Odom you have played like a champ. Gotta say I was disappointed at your attitude. You are better than that. Check yourselves before you wreck yourselves. Improved relationships, sportsmanship, professionalism and you are still the winning team in my book. You got to the playoffs. What an accomplishment for the many times you have gotten there and did the job, cheered on by Jack and all of us loyal supporters.

And remember all good things must come to an end, or must it.....

Phil I don't care what they say - you got game.

You are still the best.

Looking for a comeback.

Couchfan

Losing is part of life, so do it with good grace, remember the sting and come back to fight again.

No complaints or condemnation, there's always a place in my heart for chippy.

your pal,

greenie

I am so so glad those THUGS are out.....tired of watching dodgers fans throw down like a pack of wild hienas, except on the basketball court.
I suspect the lakers will be basment dwellers for a long time, after their performance of lately of cowardice.....I am no longer a fan.

For lakers fans. Its life. you cannot be always a champ and winner all the time thats the natural cycle of life. Just accept the inevitable.

From outside looking in, this problem started when the management of La specially when Kupchact replace with vujacic and farmar they have heart and shooters of the bench. Whats the replacement a bunch of Old legs, smith and ratliff, Its a management descision but you know, the reality is if vujacic coming off the bench for kobe. They gamble on the untested vujacic for erratic brown. Remember vujacic have proven on pressure, He win a one game in the finals vs celtics in 2008. He win the most pressure free trows last years in the finals. Kupchack just want to save cash and salary cap penalties which if they go the finals and win will be overcome and have some profits it they are on the finals and not elimated like this series its a million worth of tickets and royalties from tv networks and other sales.( lets see some math here for vujacic salary = 5M - (2M salaries of smith ratliff and caracter combine).

they save 3m US for the glory ( whats a descision replacing the proven vujacic as a replacement shooters - remember the old days how kobe always kick the ball to vujacic all the time and the playoffs and most of the time make it.

Off the bench shooters decide LAs fate. ( thanks for mitch kupchack for sabotaging this 3 peat runs for small penny they save) the best sports manager you can swallow.

WITHOUT SHOOTERS THAT MAKE KOBE TAKE A BREATHER BEFORE HE CLOSE THE GAME IS THE STORY OF THIS LA RUNS IN THEIR LAST CHAMPIONSHIPS

Hope mitch Kupchact also made a bold move for bynum vs carmelo.

See kobe its all kobe.

If you have kobe and carmelo maybe they survive this 3 peats runs.

Because LAs deffense begun with in only if the offense are running.

Melo is good for 20 pts out there. Bynum well what he have done today is just a disgrace for the franchise.

Another point they let stoichakovic go to dallas or not pick a 250K mike bibby out there willing very much to go with LA.

To summarize my comments this are the fault of MITCH KUPCHACK unwilling to make change in the organization and just sit out there and think Kobe and Paul and the old bigs will deliver.

For LA FANS, JUST ACCEPT LIFE IS WHAT IT IS. YOU MUST ACCEPT THE CYLE. YOU CANNOT ALWAYS BE CHAMPION.

YOU HAVE 16 RINGS ALREADY ARE YOU NOT SATISFIED, GIVE OTHERS A CHANCE.

DALLAS HAVE NO RINGS REMEMBER THAT.

ITS NOT THE END OF LIFE.

NEXT YEAR LA CAN START ALL OVER AGAIN BY TRADING SOME OF YOUR NOT PERFORMING PLAYERS.

SO JUST BE HAPPY AND ACCEPT THE FACTS OF LIFE. HOW BITTER IT CAN BE. THRU GOOD TIMES AND BAD TIMES LA FANS MUST BE THANKFUL FOR ALL THE TEAM HAVE ACHIEVED IN YEARS.

AT THE END OF THE DAY PLAYER ARE HUMANS NOT MACHINES THAT IT CAN DO SAME THING AGAIN AND AGAIN

In a traditional refinance, insist on a good-faith estimate of the costs up front, before you give the lender a penny, search the web for "Mortgage Refinance 123" I would strongly recommend them. They got me 2.891% rate! It is good to learn more about refi before doing it.

Penetration is what led to the defensive collapse in this series. Both Fisher and Blake lack the speed to stay in front of their men. We really missed Sasha! I would be happy to come back with the same front line but we MUST address the point guard problem either by trade or with the mid level exception.http://bit.ly/jdNwFz
