Live Chat with The Times' Mike Bresnahan
So yeah, there's really not much to talk about regarding the Lakers, other than their 110-82 win Thursday over Dallas, the chase for first place in the Western Conference and of course the tension surrounding Jason Terry with Steve Blake and Matt Barnes. Fortunately, The Times' Mike Bresnahan is here today to answer all your questions. Chat box is below the jump.

******REPOST******
LRob, I have to disagree about Cuban. He's an idiot with money. This is a man, and I use the term loosely, that produced two Michael Moron type movies, one that claimed 911 was planned and executed by the U.S. Government and the other portraying our U.S. Marines as rapist and pilligers in Iraq. There's a theme there that I don't take kindly to. Thankfully, they were just wastes of his money that didn't see the theaters. Hopefully he never gets his mitts on the Dodgers...
As for suspensions, I hope Stu Jackson takes into account that Matt was already walking towards his bench and onto the locker room when Stotts bear hugged him from behind. If he gets more than one game it'll be because they didn't take that into account. I took another look at it again this morning and it seems pretty clearcut. Opposing coaches shouldn't be doing that. Stotts may have had good intentions, but it's not his business unless there was an imminent threat of harm to other players, coaches or fans...

LO LO LO LO LO LO LO LO LO LO
Wow if that wasn’t a statement and an exclamation for 6th man of the year I don’t know what is. Are you freaking kidding me with that performance that LO put on? What can’t the guy do? Pull up for a three, hit the mid-range jumper, pull down a rebound and lead the fast break for a dump off pass for the dunk, or do you want him to just dribble drive and lay it off the glass smoothly. He was exploding while Terry was imploding! It’s OVER people; give that man his award and his invite to London for 2012!
What about the assertion and confidence they were playing with? BYNUM didn’t just have it going on defensively and offensively but he had the brazen arrogance that he is a BEAST playing among mere mortals. He played with decisive power that overwhelmed them all.
Gasol with his grace and skill nailing the shot with a series of moves making the Dallas D look like bewildered fools. He was pumped when Bynum dunked over Dirk.
Ron Ron, I love the guy and everything he brings. The confidence and swagger was choreographed and depicted perfectly with the cameras after he made the one handed basket and smiled at the crowd and kissed his biceps. I LOVE that guy!
Matt Barnes is the attack dog -the Kurt Rambis, the Marty McSorley, the “Enforcer” for the Lakers. Go ahead and suspend him, the message was sent and he will do it again in the playoffs if he has too. Kobe Ron Matt Andrew & Fish will lay the law down if need be, who else is that deep in the NBA when it comes to badass take no ish from no one? Love Barnes and his role!
Seriously Miami had to be watching that game and shaking their heads at the Longgggggggg ways they have to go to even be mentioned with the Lakers. Lebron is already planning his exit so he doesn’t have to face the Lakers.
There is only one team I want to play the Lakers, the only team that deserves to be on the same court and that is the Celtics. Boston will is going to teach these up and coming Bulls and fool Heat a lesson or two before they get punked by the Lakers.

@The Triangulator |
Wow I didn't know that about Cuban!
Thanks for the info.
I like him even more now that I know he isn't a puppet fool. I'm sure he doesn't think it was a waste of money to expose the truth. That is the problem with Fox news watchers, they think everything is about money that is why they are so clueless and easy to control.
I hope he does buy the Dodgers that would be great as he is a great owner and an even better human.

NBA4ever, if you truly believe that our Marines are rapists and pilligers and that 911 was masterminded by the US Government, then why not go all the way and become a Mavs fan? Cuban needs a loving hand to hold while he texts during games... And BTW, Cuban's a Laker Hater (Self-Proclaimed) and Kobe Hater Too!
kobefan, you know nothing about me. What I have or what I do. And that's the way it'll stay. Except to say that, in my life I've met and dealt with many wealthy people that have made their money in many different occupations and industries, including Hi-Tech. Just because a person makes money, no matter what the industry, doesn't mean they aren't an idiot outside of their milieu. Some are and some aren't. If you're so sympathetic with his views, then maybe you too should become a Mavs fan.
As for me, LIKE MAMBA24, I'VE GROWN TIRED OF THIS!
LROB, It's been fun. Justa Stay Strong! All the Best to the True Lakers Fans...
Too Much Troll Mulch!
I'll watch and enjoy the Lakers on the way to their 3-Peat and thinking of Rick Friedman. And Enjoy Watching Cuban's Mavs Implode Again...
I'M OUTTA HERE!

Thanks again.

NBA4ever a great person told me this "If you haven't lived it you don't know about it, you just heard about it or read about it.Opinions are like arm pits everybody has a couple and they have just heard about it or read about it. One way or another they get your Dime. It is okay to have opinions
but do not believe your is the only right one you did not live it you only read about it or heard about it Maverick

@The Triangulator
Didn't say I believe any of that quite honestly I don't believe that at all about the Marines; bad apples everywhere. I just don't think Cuban is an idiot. I respect that he doesn't believe everything he's told and questions the status quo not only in the NBA but in the world. It would be a lot easier for a billionair to sit and do nothing. He's a Laker Hater who cares I hate the Mavs. Don't know or care what Dr. Buss's world views are, wouldn't change my love for the Lakers.
Don't make statements like that if you don't have thick skin and don't expect a response. Seperate that with your love of the Lakers and take it for what it is and what you wrote. You have as much right as anyone else here to post what you want and to enjoy sharing your love for the Lakers.

@maverick
Not sure what this incoherent post is supposed to mean or if it’s directed towards me. I believe the opinion expressed was Michael Moore is a moron and anyone who thinks like him is an idiot. As far as anything else you are right; you nor I know a damn thing. I don’t pretend to know either should The Triangulator or you for that matter we should just keep an open mind before we shoot down someone as an idiot.
