Cursed white uniforms!

Kenyon Martin just won the game by fouling.

Pretty much sums up the entire game actually. 5 on 8 is tough to win.

Congrats to the Nuggets and their pocket Zebras. Pretty tough to get that kind of favorable treatment on the road, but the sun shines on a dog's arse every once ina while too...

Where was this game again? I could have sworn they were going to be playing in Staples Center, but then I saw the Lakers called for ticky-tack fouls and Kobe (and Odom, and Bynum) unable to get a call. I mean, the Lakers didn't play great ball either, but the refs kept the Nuggets in this.

If Lakers don't win it this year, major rebuild.....DeAndre Jordan....

The Lakers win and lose because of their coaching....I expect benefits if they assemble a good staff to replace these 1980 relics...

Leon wood and garretson are pieces of trash. You could see from the start that the game was orchestrated to be close and no fouls were gonna be called. We still played down to their level and the felton prayer shooting was the difference.

16 and what? Since when is slapping the floor a crime? Not only that, how can u miss a player losing the ball after a block? This is all trying to prolong the playoffs by making sure there is no home court. I hope the nuggets think they're threats to the title.....NOT

Waaaahhhhh! The refs caused the Lakers to lose? C'mon, we sound like a bunch of spoiled little league parents. Shoot the ball better and stop turning over the ball. The Nuggets wanted it more today.

Anyone blaming this loss on the officiating, which is bad--both ways, is ignoring just how good the Nuggets have become. It's difficult to discern who is a starter and who isn't and there is a LOT of talent on that team. For instance, JR Smith hardly played and scored only four points and the Russian guy looked like he's only going to get better with more playing time. I hear Aflalo is playing well, too--and he was out today.

The Denver-OKC game, on Tuesday night, ought to go a long way to show if Denver is for real...we know the Lakers can win big games...this will be interesting!

I really don't understand where the complaints are coming from in officiating. Denver and LA got their fair share of bad calls, such as the ones lakerssuck mentioned. Just because Kobe didn't get every single foul to go his way doesn't mean there was bad officiating (I mean really, a Lakers fan complaining about bad officiating... really?).

If anything it was a very entertaining game where two physical defenses proved to be the key. Also be quiet with the whole the Lakers just played bad. The Nuggets outworked them defensively (I mean really, did the Lakers just give up TWENTY turnovers?). Karl saw that your team was shooting shit so he clogged the paint and passing lanes (I think Kobe made two or three layups the whole game). He can do that because he has a lot of people who understand TEAM defense. The Lakers were outplayed, outcoached, and outclassed tonight by the Nuggets, admit it and you'll at least be a respectable rival.

really, lakers fans complaining about the officiating? total fouls by lakers 24, total by nuggets 23...kobe only gets called for one foul and it was when he intentionally fouled chandler. nuggets played well, hit their shots, lakers turned it over late and jackson whines...brutal
