Tweet of the Day: "Day 7 of rehab stayed back n LA w/ judy to rite.. Yesterday was great did body weight squats, biked & did the shuttle w/no pain or swelling ... Who would have ever thought u could luv rehab?? GET RITE -- Matt_Barnes22 (Lakers forward Matt Barnes)

Reader Comment of the Day: "Just wanted to mention how much I like the photo at the top, and a couple from other angles that I've seen. MM wrote it right about the many faces of Kobe throughout the game but that dunk was just pure basketball joy, the moment when it all slows down and the crowd noise blurs and a guy in his 15th year shows that he can still fly when the wind's just right" -- dave m

Damn G.Money has the POWER now.

WHAT should I DO???

Congrats DaveM, - another award.... WTH going on around HERE.

dave m FTW!!!

BUT - I have a moral question anyways.... Did MM give davem the RCOTD because MM himself was prominently mentioned in the comment? These are the things I think about....

justanothermambafan- Good point, maybe MM should give to ME to show theirs NO FAVORITISM. Just Sayin...

Dave M - great job on the Friedman...congrats...

Utz - will we see a game day prayer today...if not someone please step up...

iheart - i want to sign my name on Kobe's Wall too...that was so cool...and I want a Black Mamba T-shirt your man was wearing...where did you get that...

Congrats dave m!

This is the only time I will address you directly GMoney. You may have others fooled into thinking you're a 'cool' troll or whatever. I don't care. I remember what handle you used, and it's origination. So do me a favor, don't reply to my posts, and don't mention my name in yours. Pretend I don't exist. That's what I do with you.

Starvation / scroll mode commencing.......

@LEW - I know, that was the COOLEST thing EVER!!! - my name on Kobe's Wall =)

for the record...HE IS NOT MY MAN...hahaha...he got the shirt at the NIKE store in LA, i think...and they also sell that at Staples...

Don't see how Mike Bresnahan could leave off the 1972 Laker championship off of his top ten Laker moments. The only C'ship for the Logo after all those losses in the Finals and the first one in L.A. Seems pretty significant to me.

I had a blast at the game Monday night...OMG! that guy, i think his name is Kobe Bean Bryant is a thing of beauty...When I first saw him at the o2 Arena in London he played only few minutes so I didn't get to see of much of him on the court but, Monday night was AWESOME upclose...especially the dunk...it reminded me of the younger KB24...oh yeah! and Fish scored...thanks to me - his lucky charm...lol

lastly, I get to meet MM...what a night...@LEW - it is the best MLK ever...

"I stopped following it," Wade said. "It's getting to the point where you're just like, move on already or don't. I'm sure Melo is more tired of it than anybody. But it's just to the point, as a sports fan, you're just, 'All right, it's just enough.' "

I call BS on that. This is ridiculous. How can Melo be fed up when he keeps asking Gary Forbes and Shelden Williams what rumors they've heard. He loves all of this attention. Like I've said before, Melo has atrocious media relation skills, the guy is just a flake when it comes to the media, not that smart, not all that sincere. This is just a joke.

---------------------

Not your man...That's the COOLEST thing I heard today...

bronx - Bres isn't exactly a Laker HATER... more of a Laker DISDAINER. No surprise to me he left that moment out.

@LEW - it's OK, I forgive you...hahaha...just kidding...

we need to get you to watch the Lakers at Staples...if I get more info from my friend about tickets I will let you know, ok...maybe playoff games...how's your work schedule? are your days flexible?

iheart - if you can hook up some great seats for reasonable prices...

I WILL MAKE TIME...

Watching a Laker Game live at Staples - Great experience

Watching a Laker Game live at Staples with fellow Blog Members - PRICELESS

I think the 72 Championship game #5 was the #1 moment in LA Lakers history for me because it was the first. After all the agony Mr Clutch and the team went through, to finally win it was tremendous.

iheart - you need to share your game pics with everyone on the blog...They are so awesome, and you really get a feel of the whole Staples experience...

MM - is there a way she can post them on our Blog...without having to view them on Facebook...that way everyone can see even you don't have a Facebook account...

@Dave m – congrats on RCOTD. Loved your comment about the dunk.

@Art – That was pretty funny. He poked fun at everyone from Clapton to Garth. I thought the Eagles line about Wal-Mart was the best.

@sean – I agree that Zach would be a very good fit for OKC. He would make them scary offensively. But Dalembert would probably make them more of a complete team.

I don’t think Barnes has the quickness to stay with Westbrook, but I’m sure he’d get under his skin and be agitate him.

@Triangular – Good point about Laker free throw woes continuing this year vs. OKC. Maybe it’s the fatigue factor like Art suggested as a possibility.

@Lew – Pulled out the video of Desi jamming…now that’s creativity. And thanks for the roll call. Also Diandra came through on the movie titles last night….teamwork BABY!

for the record...HE IS NOT MY MAN...hahaha...he got the shirt at the NIKE store in LA, i think...and they also sell that at Staples...

iheartkb24,

Now that's funny. Sure he's not your man. It reminds me a little Biz Markie story...

Listen UP QUEEN BEE, I have no PROBLEM at all with SCROLLING pass you're post, and my previous handle had nothing to do with YOU, so don't Falter YOURSELF you don't RATE that HIGH. Just Sayin..

@LRob - I don't have access to YouTube at work but, I will take a guess - the video is "Just A Friend" by Biz Markie?

@LEW - I would like to share them to everyone on the blog...I already showed them to phred last night...

G.money: STOP LYING! You know darn well you bit Justa's name. Trying to change your identity to fool everyone. We ain't stupid.

The recent Dallas slipping in NBA standing does not mean anything, they played without Dirk and now with him back in lineup can and possibly will use this game as a lunch pad to get back into groove. I hope Lakers prepare for this game as serious as they possibly can. In fact I would consider Dallas, playing at home, far more dangerous team than Thunder, we often had a trouble winning in Dallas.

If the Lakers dont take this game serious it will be a long night for us. Specialy for Pau who will be punked by Dirk and Tyson if he doesnt play with cajones.

Sure you want to go heads up with justa...

Don't you know she has an army...

2 words...THROAT PUNCH!!!

Homeboy...I don't recall anybody inviting you inn, and for you're INFO I choose that handle just to push the buttons of the Lakerholics. It had nothing to do with QUEENIE, there are a few justa on board. And i dropped it because it created a negitive Energy after so long.
DUDE... you come out like some COP defending her honor, you need to sit back and ask for FORGIVENESS.

Dallas slipping does not mean anything...ugh..ummm. yes it does, mean something. Losing Caron Butler is huge, Dallas misses Caron Butler on so many levels. Maybe, you're a casual fan outside of the Lakers or have trouble paying attention, frankly, I don't know and don't care, but to say their slip means nothing, is way off base.

Caron's ability to play solid D while contributing his versatility on offense. He's big, strong, runs the floor well, can post up extremely well, and his outside shot was solid as well as a good mid-range game. Their going to miss all those attributes. And while Ronnie Beaubois gives them speed and a shot in the arm off the bench, it's not nearly enough to fill the vacuum of Butler's impact.

You mess with justanothermamba fan; you mess with the blog.

Scourging trolls is what we do. We're good at it. VERY good at it. We've had practice.

Be forewarned.

What do we play for? RINGS!!!

Lakers Today... Lakers Tomorrow... Lakers Forever.

GO LAKERS!!!!

G. Money,

Didn't your daddy raise you right?

You don't mess with a nice lady and you don't lie under another person's title.

You don't need to invite Utzworld or I into this. We're already here.

If you want a team of seasoned bloggers to expose you as a fool and feel like less of a man as a result, well, please continue then.

What do we play for? RINGS!!!

Lakers Today... Lakers Tomorrow... Lakers Forever.

GO LAKERS!!!

I'm disappointed G.money, I thought you said you didn't walk away from conflict. Now, I see, you're actually being a liar. Fool me once shame on you, Fool me twice shame on me. I'm done with you. I'm disappointed, you can scroll past my posts as well.

G.money....

justa is well respected and liked around here. We've tried to be pleasant with you, but if you have a problem with her, then I've got a problem with you.

@justanothermambafan...

Yeah, I never get the feeling that Mike Bresnahan really LIKES the Lakers. His work leaves me cold. No passion.

utz...jon k....sean....bronx....

I love you guys - thanks so much.

@Bronx: The LA Times haven't had a columnist who actually liked...let alone RESPECTED...the Lakers since probably the Showtime era. Plaschke is a tool, Simers is an idiot and those J.A. Anande postings from the Shaq-Kobe era were downright PATHETIC!

oop - forgot lewstrs!! How could I do that??!!!

We keep trying to tell y'all trolls: WE'RE A FAMILY! You ain't bout to speak ill against a member of this family and we just let you slide! Uh-uh.

Take your split personalitied behind over to the Heat Blog and nurse your 4 game losing streak. Or have they taught y'all how to create, post & manage your teams' blog yet? We know they had to teach y'all how to act at an actual basketball game.

I just hope we come out focused and aggressive both ends of the floor. I hope our bipolar bench shows up big time, and i hope Andrew can stay on the court!
