Lamar Odom happy with Kardashian family Christmas photo
The way Lakers forward Lamar Odom sees it, if people are asking him about the Kardashian family photo it must be receiving rave reviews.
"If you ask me about it," Odom said after Monday's practice, "it must be good."
That's a fair point, since I think the Kardashian family Christmas photo looks pretty cool. But not everyone's sharing that sentiment regarding the photo featuring the Kardashian sisters (Khloe, Kourtney and Kim), brother Rob, mother Kris Jenner, stepfather Bruce Jenner, stepsisters Kendall and Kylie Jenner, nephew Mason, Mason's father Scott Disick and of course Odom. The Times' Tony Pierce recently highlighted some of the mixed reaction, including speculation about whether Odom was photoshopped and questions about why the clan appeared like the Addams Family in a solemn mood.
But Odom swatted those concerns down as graciously and efficiently as if snagging rebounds and scoring on coast-to-coast drives. Odom indeed was there for the shoot, saying, "It's just another one that we knocked out." And he clarified that the Kardashians weren't trying to look like a knockoff of the Addams Family, saying, "I think it was just a sign of tradition and strength."
Odom's not going to take credit for the concept, an idea he said originated with Kris Jenner. But he's certainly proud of sending this card to close ones for the holiday season.
Said Odom: "I definitely liked the end result."
