@MAMBA… Thanks for your kind words and constant efforts to make this place a sanctuary for all of us from the day to day struggles of life. Best of fortune to you and yours for the coming year. Larry. You’re a friend for life as far as I am concerned.
@SEAN… Sorry to hear about your dad and will keep you and him in my prayers. Been enjoying your posts and am looking forward to sharing the three-peat with you. Happy New Year. I also agree that Lamar should be an All-Star this year and I expect him to be added to the team by the coaches.
The one big gripe I have about the selection process for the All-Star game is if the fans are supposed to select the starters and the coaches the bench, how come when a starter like Yao Ming is injured the #2 vote receiver – in this case, Andrew Bynum, does not automatically get the start? Because of his late start, Drew will not likely make the team with 3 Lakers already selected in Kobe, Pau, and Lamar.

Another win in the bin for the Lakers, another work and family related lapse by phred in checking in with the blog. A new profile, an interview with the Ron Artest win ringer...um, ring winner, and hopefully I won't regret reading through the last couple of days worth of comments. If LT and Larry are still slogging through to get here i will take the trouble.
THE LOVE WANTS TO WISH EVERYBODY A HAPPY NEW YEAR.
ALTHOUGH PERHAPS THERE ARE OTHER CULTURES THAT CELEBRATE THE NEW YEAR OTHER TIMES OF THE YEAR.
AS LONG AS THE LOVE GETS INVITED TO THEIR PARTIES THAT IS ALL COOL.
IT IS ALL ABOUT THE LOVE

every lakers fan new year resolutin shoul be that fisher
be benched or trade along with luke.the way that he is playing
and if he really like the lakers he would ask the coach to
bench him that what great leadersa do.i think he could make a good coach.but his playing days are over.i know that his
mind say he can still play but he should listern to his body.
because koby and coach pj feel obligated to him for past

I'll take that...
But I don't like the way the team is playing...overall. Bynum back makes a HUGE difference, Gasol can rock as a PF, LO, aka the "secret-weapon", coming from the bench...all good. I justa think we didn't reach our peak.
Oh, wait...It's not the playoffs.
Look, we must reach (and WE WILL) reach our peak by the playoffs; preferably on the 2nd round. If you reach your peak now, there's only one way you can go, and it's downhill. I've already said that here many times...We look good.
1h 08mins to 2011...
I wish you guys a HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!

Happy New Year to all and welcome 2011.
Just arrived from the ball game with good seats compliments of Mr. & Mrs. Michael J. Happy New Year to you Sir and Madame & thank you very much for sharing your season tickets.
Together with Faith and Jon K., we have been in this blog for quite some time since 2005. I enjoyed it as a past time in sharing our passion to fellow Laker fans. Well, things have changed in my lifestyle and work related too. so I have decided to lie low for a while in 2011. Perhaps, the Lakerholic Express can moved faster and swifter. Don't forget my advice to be more tolerant to LA laker fairweather fans, you never able to get rid of them all. Thank you so much MM and LA Times I will always be lurking around as a reader.

yeah, it's 2011. Man, how the time flies. It seems just yesterday it was 2010.
Man, Edwin, say it ain't so. I'm gonna miss you. I understand changing your blogging participation status because of life changes, but I hope (and suspect) you won't be able to leave us so easily. You'll be back. You'll be baaaaaaack...
