Lakers forward Lamar Odom to get MRI exam on right foot

Lakers forward Lamar Odom is scheduled to get an MRI exam Monday on his right foot after experiencing soreness. Coach Phil Jackson described it as a "bone bruise."

"It's aching, especially in the morning," Odom said after the Lakers' 121-116 loss Sunday to the Phoenix Suns. "I've played a lot of basketball. It's just wear and tear."

Odom didn't say when the injury happened but added he's had the injury "for a little bit." The injury also caused Odom to miss Saturday's practice.

"Just playing through it. It kind of caught up to me," Odom said. "Hopefully all I need is ice."

Theo Ratliff also plans to get an MRI exam Monday for his sore left knee.

Lamar gave PHX a nice gift by overreacting to the ref late in the game. Between him and Barnes, the chances for a meltdown in the clutch are high.

Phoenix was pretty hot with all those threes, That tough to keep up all season otherwise my grandma could drive in into paint and slam dunk it them.

Lakers are just sharpening their teeth sometimes a few will get away from their jaws Just don't be there when their really hungry.

Get well Odom your kids deserve their money
