sup peeps! I still got a lotta catchin' up to do.

I'm sure that 'MJ ranks Kobe' thread got a lotta y'all's tighty-whiteys in a bunch.(LOL) Tho' I still think MJ is the GOAT I personally don't like the guy AT ALL but, not for the reasons that many on this blog have. I despise him because of what I heard his sister Deloris say about him and their dad during a radio interview some years back.

BTW, has anyone here read her book, 'In My Family's Shadow'.

@Wes and zio69,

Nice profiles!

@GDUB - Another good one by New Birth. You're going to make me pull out their greatest hits CD. I'll still take Dream Merchant as their best with the remake of Skylark's Wild Flower a close second.

I wrote something earlier in the week about KP...Kevin Porter. I thought about him after MM posted article about LO high stepping in the game vs. FC Barcelona (I believe)....anyway being in DC I'm sure you saw KP a lot. Any thoughts on him?

I remember KP being a pretty good point guard at that time. He was a bit flamboyant to me and I he may have thought he was better than he really was but, he WAS intertaining.

I like most of New Birth's stuff. If I'm not mistaken they started the group back up a few years ago and released a new CD...I'll have to check to see.

Nevermind, I found it. Enjoy!

BTW, I saw them back in the early 80s at the Warner Theatre here in DC and I remember the mike goin' out in the middle of a song but, Leslie Wilson continued singing and my friends and I were sitting in the balcony and could still here him clearly...what a powerful voice! When he finished the entire audience gave him a standing ovation. Aierto and Flora Purim were also on the bill, along with Bob James.

Man, those were the days!

BTW, I'm gonna start posting a few musical artists from across the pond that I'm currently into. Let me know if you're familiar with any of them and if not, what you might think of them.

Here's a couple of tunes from the first entry.

Damn, can't wait for the reg. season to start.

Let's go Ls...all the way to a 3-peat!!!!!

MM: Tried to get in on the chat, it's not playing nice with Firefox though. I see a big white box where the chat is supposed to be.

Oh well, I'm behind on game-time anyways as I DVR the game, and usually start them about 45-minutes after the game starts (in order to fast-forward through commercials lol).

Will try to get in with 'Google Chrome' browser or something else next time.

Fish having another big night. His off season conditioning has really improved his shot.
