Exhibition: Lakers-Timberwolves -- first-half highlights

Kobe Bryant made a brief appearance, and that was about it, in the first half as the Lakers led the Minnesota Timberwolves, 56-55, at halftime of an exhibition opener at London's O2 Arena.

Bryant, slowly returning from off-season knee surgery, missed all three of his shots, including two three-point attempts, in six minutes. He had two assists and a rebound.

Lamar Odom, on the other hand, looked as fit as advertised, scoring 13 points on five-for-nine shooting, including a double-clutch reverse layup late in the second quarter.

Shannon Brown delighted the near-capacity crowd with a dunk not long after entering the game. He had nine points on four-for-five shooting.

Naw...Keep it!

Thought they played pretty well the 1st half. Hater, as you may have noticed.........Phil played a lot of players, some are trying to make the team and the two rooks saw some action. Once we get our team set and really practice, I see the bench mob running and gunning. I thought Barnes hustled and did some good things. One of those games where the Wolves put it up and it went in!! In the words of The Black Mamba " who gives two sh--t's about pre season games?"

Lamar looking at his first All Star if he keeps this up.
