I’M OUT!
To every thing there is a season, I’m a Drama Punk that is the reason
That is the reason I have to say, goodbye to you Laker Nation today
Drama Queen, Drama Punk, whatever you say, I get to go out My Way
It’s been a privilege serving you all, bringing you the daily Roll Call
Roll Calls & all were never bout me, Just tried to help build Laker Nation you see
But I’m just not feeling it anymore, so it’s time to go before I become a big bore.
Some say this has already come to pass, Mamba24 they say, you’ve run out of gas
This I think is partially true, which is another reason it’s time to say adieu
I wouldn’t even write this before I go, because some will say it’s all just another show
But I figure it’s the least I should do, because you are my family, every one of you.
And you don’t leave family without a reason, And this is now my leaving Season
No, Bandwagons please, not even goodbye, just let me fade & be a regular guy
It’s better to leave while all is good, than wait until everyone wishes you would
So that’s it I’m out, all the best to you, Get that 3-peat Laker Nation, That’s what U do!

Jefe101 - As soon we know we'll have something up.
There is a new Laker blog profile post up. This will be the last post of the day because I'll be out doing a freelance assignment.
Remember we will have a chat tomorrow at 11:30 a.m. to watch the gold medal game.

13 and 10 for Lamar. Very nice. He's doing for Team USA what he does for the Lakers. He doesn't get the headlines or the big points, but he quietly defends hard, works hard to get rebounds and kicks out outlet passes. And scores a few points when needed.
It's ironic that with all the designated shooters they have (Billups, Curry, Gordon, Westbrook, Igoudala) that Lamar was the second leading scorer when the chips were down. He's really come up huge for the team. Durant is clearly the MVP, but if KD is Batman, Lamar has been the unsung Robin.

Crap and I didn't even notice the 2 assists, 1 steal and THREE BLOCKS.
The guy is playing CENTER for Team USA and owning opposing front lines.
I frequently diss Lamar for some of his bonehead plays (and he certainly does some), but ya gotta give him props for coming through when it counts.

Yeah... The starting center for Team USA can't even play center for the Lakers (depth chart is Bynum, Gasol and Ratliff).
With due permission to MAMBA 24, all I can say is ..... Out freakin' standing!
GO LAKERS!!!

And the Heat's weakest position is.... ? We should be more concerned with Boston than Miami, IMHO.
