Lakers tickets for individual games go on sale Saturday
The Lakers announced Thursday that tickets for individual games for this season will go on sale Saturday at 10 a.m. and can be purchased at all Ticketmaster outlets, online at Ticketmaster.com and by calling (800) 462-2849.
Fans are limited to four tickets per person per game.
The Lakers said there are approximately 1,000 tickets available for each Lakers home game. The Lakers also said tickets cannot be bought at Staples Center box office Saturday.

I don't see that happening, but it is my wish also. I don't think we will have enough cap room, even without Kobe's contract, to offer up a max deal. In that case, he would have to really want to come here. I just haven't seen that from him.

If you have an American Express card, you can buy Lakers tickets today through TicketMasters. My friend has an Amex card and tried to buy me two tickets to the Lakers-Celtics game. The cost was $600 per ticket for the 8th row. Those were the only tickets available - - to any of the Lakers home games. I declined on the tickets. Do you think that was wise?

Alas, another season of televised Lakers games and zero chance of scoring a ticket. Always a 6th man, never a starter.
On that note...
I've always secretly anguished about the fact that the vast majority of hardcore Lakers fans can't afford to EVER take their family to a single game. The other side of the coin is the fact that the vast majority of fans on any given night at Staples Center are fair-weather fans, movie star attention hogs, or corporate robots licking their supervisor's boots in the luxury boxes. Oh, how the peasants toil night after night longing for the day they could watch greatness live and direct.
