Your database for all things purple and gold.
Just read a Bleacher Report ranking top 20 Most Complete players. They ranked Kobe 19th.
Say What? And Rank Grant Hill 9th? That's Right! Grant Hill, according to these haters, is 10 players better than Kobe. WTF?
They also rank Grant Hill better than Wilt 10), Hakeem (11), Havlicek (12), Kareem (13), Drexler (14), Russell (18).
Princess Jimmy is #6 Again, WTF? I've heard of haters, but this is ridiculous....
Keltics Legend Larry Bird is Ranked #1, The Big 'O' #2, and Magic #3. Jordan gets a#5 nod. Wow!

MM, can't seem to join the Chat. Tried creating a user account and, no matter what I put in as a user name, I keep getting invalid user name.
Also, entering a nickname and a comment (without a user account) doesn't work either.
Apparently, G-Snap is NOT Mac user friendly.
Unless I was chat banned for some unknown reason, my MacBook Pro is no longer compatible with the new chat format.
OH WELL! AT LEAST I CAN STILL POST COMMENTS...

Yeah, especiall one in the heart of "enemy" territory...
And what's the deal with the Bleacher Report listing Kobe so low on the Complete Players list? In my unbiased opinion (ok I lie, it's definitely biased) Kobe should be #1 on that list, or at the very least, somewhere in the top 5.
It seemth to me that Kobe will NEVER get his due from the media (aka HATERS) !!!!
Posted by: HalosAnt | August 16, 2010 at 02:10 PM
KOBE??? Ranked 19th?????
What a freaking waste of space & time that stupid Bleacher Report is.
Bunch of stupid haters if you ask me.
19th. Yeah. Right. Idiots.

What is more likely to happen...
Lakers retire BOTH #8 and #24...
The Cleveland Cavaliers retire Lebron's #23...
Shaq wins another ring...
Rondo wins league MVP...
Paula Pierce becomes a Laker...
Carmelo and CP3 end up in NYC 2011-2012
LAKERS go 3Peat...and win #17...
Posted by: LEWSTRS | August 16, 2010 at 02:38 PM
justa - Kobe would not be great...if the doubters didn't hate...
Posted by: LEWSTRS | August 16, 2010 at 02:38 PM

lewstrs - I disagree. He'd be great no matter what. But if the doubters didn't hate I wouldn't feel the need to defend him LOL!

I'm most disappointed in Luke Walton's omission from the top 20, who's more compete a player than Luke "Hops" Walton?

I'm really looking forward to the game the lakers will play against the rubio team FC Barcelona.I hope Mitch could convince Rubio to play for the Lakers when he decides to play in the NBA.If Mitch can do that, the Minnesota timberwolves will workout for a deal that will send Rubio's right to us.Do it,Mitch.

The lakers will officially retire Kobe's number 24 but unofficially no one will be allowed to wear this number 8. its just way too sacred. Kobe will go down as GLOAT. In the meantime Shaq will have no jerseys on the staple center rafters or any other stadium. Also he did win three championships with the lakers and was dominant in those years, he has burn too many bridges with the laker organization. His most appalling is that stupid rap video asking how is ass taste and saying kobe cant win without him. its obvious that he was actively rooting for the Lakers to lose. any former laker that roots against the lakers against any team should not has his jersey retired as a laker. as far as i'm concern, the celtics can take him. F him and Boston.
Can't wait for next season and the road to 3 peat.
