What does Fish wish?
Free-agent point guard Derek Fisher will decide today whether to return to the Lakers for his 15th season.
Fisher, who turns 36 in four weeks, met with the Miami Heat over the weekend and has been weighing whether to leave the franchise that has employed him for 11 seasons.
The Lakers' latest offer was for about $2.7 million annually, though it was unclear if it was for one year or two years. Miami is still organizing its finances after an unprecedented spending spree over the last few days, but it is believed that the Heat can offer only about $2 million annually.
Fisher averaged 7.5 points and 2.5 assists during the regular season but increased his numbers to 10.3 points and 2.8 assists in the Lakers' playoff run. He played all 82 games in the regular season and all 23 in the playoffs.

Interesting twist -- ESPN says three year deal, last year as a player option. Depending on the dollar amounts, could be a great deal for Fisher.

Starwberry and Jabber are nice 3rd strings, both are athletic dfender. Caracter is more suited for 2nd string but Odom has that place cemented.
But nice to have a cheap but luxury takent at this position.
