Lakers formalize signing of free agent guard Steve Blake

The Lakers signed free agent guard Steve Blake, the team announced Thursday. Although Blake agreed to terms last week on a four-year, $16-million deal, he couldn't officially sign until the free-agent moratorium ended Wednesday night.

The Times' Mike Bresnahan and Broderick Turner recently reported that the Lakers secured Blake using part of their mid-level exception, and have less than $2 million left on the MLE. The next order of business appears to involve re-signing veteran guard Derek Fisher, who has yet to reach an agreement with the team.

The Lakers expect to formally introduce Blake in a press conference sometime next week. Blake's wife, Kristen, shared on her Twitter account that Steve is currently in Las Vegas because of his involvement with Hoops for St. Jude, which raises money and awareness for children battling cancer. It appears that the Blake family is already making moving arrangements, with Kristen tweeting, "Checkin out houses 2 rent 4 the season next week while we're there for pc ... practice facility is in el segundo so there, manh beach, marina del Rey, etc. Steve's a gym rat so he needs 2 b close 2 the pf!"

****** REPOST (FOR THOSE WHO MISSED IT) ******

"BACK TO THE PRINCESS JIMMY'S FUTURE!!!!!!"

OK, So I Jumped in the "Hot Tub Time Machine" and it Broke Down Immediately.

Being Resourceful, I contacted our friends "Mister Peabody and his boy Sherman" to ask their permission to use the WABAC (pronounced "Wayback"), a More Reliable Time Machine.

I need the WABAC to Research the History of Princess Jimmy's RiverDancing. And here it is:

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

YOUNG PRINCESS JIMMY

As a young kid, Princess Jimmy dreamed of being a Star and would stand for hours in front of the mirror practicing his moves and mentally fondling himself.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

YOUNG PRINCESS JIMMY FOOTAGE

Here's some footage from, as My Cousin Vinny would put it, " His Yute" (Appropriately, He's Singing Beyonce's "Put a Ring On It"): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dSo2HVmCUwo

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

YOUNG PRINCESS JIMMY (CONT.)

While growing up he realized that he had some basketball skills to supplement his dance troupe dreams. But he didn't even dream of joining the NBA until he watched his NBA Idols performing the RiverDance (Vlade Divac & Chris Webber-Bread) for the Sacramento Queens in 2000.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

PRINCESS JIMMY DISCOVERS THE "RIVERDANCE"

Unfortunately, I didn't stop the WABAC on a date when Vlade & Chris were performing their infamous RiverDance. But I did find an article about their performance for an NBA TV Ad.

Here's the article: http://www.bizjournals.com/sacramento/stories/2000/02/21/newscolumn1.html

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

NBA PRINCESS JIMMY

Now We're All Familiar With Princess Jimmy's Infamous "NBA Game Time Chicago RiverDance" that even got Joakim Noah Howling. But it's worth reviewing to compare to my final stop, The Future.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

NBA PRINCESS JIMMY FOOTAGE

For those who missed it, here's some footage: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E5DzoRnu3jA

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

FUTURE PRINCESS JIMMY

I'll set the Scene for my WABAC Time Machine Stop destination into the Future to Princess Jimmy's Retirement.

Princess Jimmy had his Long Awaited 1 Hour Special, "THE PRINCESS JIMMY LOTTERY HOUR", and announced he was taking his show on the road to South Beach.

His reason was supposedly to team up with his friends, D-Wade and CB4, but he soon discovered Salsa (the Dance & the Food).

Then Charles Barkley visited him one warm Miami night and introduced him to the wonders of Deep Fried Cuban Churros.

Shortly thereafter he was visited by The Ghost of Oliver Miller who introduced him to Deep Fried Plantains.

And Finally, Whaquille O'Neal sent him Masitas de Puerco Fritas (Tender Fried Pork Rinds) and Princess Jimmy was hooked.

It didn't take too long thereafter for Princess Jimmy's knees to go from all that excess weight. He didn't realize that his game, unlike Barkley, Miller and Whaquille, couldn't handle the excess weight.

Princess Jimmy was soon forced into early retirement. His last words were "Please Don't Hate Me Cause I'm Me". He never got his Ring, but he maintained his passion for dancing.

He moved to Hollywood and Danced the Streets Hoping to be Discovered...

Who is realistic a choice for a backup Big?

Welcome (Officially) to the Purple & Gold, Steve Blake. May your shots fall like morning rain as we pursue The Seventeenth Banner! God be with you and your family. AMEN!

What time is the Steve Blake ESPN special where he signs on for a future RING? I wanna set my dvr for it.

Steve Blake will provide the little things that this team has lacked for ages.
Kobe hasn't played with a real PG since Van Exel.
He's finally going to have a PG that knows how to pass.
He's finally gonna have a PG that can actually pass him the ball at the right time.
He's finally gonna have a PG that won't mess up simple fast breaks.
These little things might not sound like much for an NAB PG, but compared to what Kobe has played with for most of his career, these little things will turn out to be HUGE.
If Smush Parker can look like a real NBA playing alongside Kobe, than how good will Blake look? I can't wait to find out.

I see nothing wrong with Mbenga. He just needs a chance.

Kudos to you for your warm *Lakers Blog* welcome to Steve Blake and his beloved family!

THATs how we DO it here in the City of Angels. Royal Purple & Gold class, dignity, and respect.

It is no coincidence that the Los Angeles Lakers have become The Greatest Franchise in modern sports history (soon to surpass that team from beantown) under the incredible leadership of Dr. Jerry Buss and family.

Gym rat!
Can't have too many of those.

Interesting Q's & A's at Forum Blue and Gold, interesting one here:

There has been a movement throughout the NBA to look past traditional statistics and look deeper into what the numbers mean. Many teams are adopting ABPRMetrics, such as the Rockets, Mavs, Nuggetsand Trailblazers, even going as far as to employ a statistician on staff. Then there are teams that are “old school” and rely almost solely on the word of scouts. Which camp do the Lakers fall into, or is it somewhere in between?

-Phil

From everything I’ve read, the Lakers have yet to fully embrace the “Moneyball” movement in Basketball. But, this shouldn’t be surprising considering the philosophy of Phil Jackson’s coaching style. Phil teaches a specific system that isn’t about statistical value but rather how pieces fit to form a team. From an outsiders perspective, Phil’s approach is one where the team is a living, breathing organism that must find a way to function together in a way where stat driven lineups don’t matter as much as the decision making as a group being on the same page with the results produced being dependent on the team seeing the same picture while on the court together.

And while I think there is merit to looking at advanced stats or adjusted plus/minus to seek out trends and what helps or hurts a team, I also think there is value in things that can’t be measured by stats. A great example of this would be the debate about whether Fisher or Farmar should have been the starting PG this season. All the advanced stats showed Farmar to be the more effective player on both offense and defense and that the team performed just as well, if not better when Farmar played with the player combinations that Fisher played the majority of his minutes with. However, what the stats didn’t measure was Fisher’s propensity to hit the big shots, organize the offense in a way where the best players got more touches, or how his leadership helped stabilize the team in moments where it was needed most.

I do think as advanced stats become more common place in the NBA, more teams will embrace them as a tool, but I think there will always be a place for making coaching decisions without the influence of numbers and by following a “gut feeling” or by judging a situation based off how the pieces “fit” from a chemistry standpoint rather than a pure production one.

Hello and my warmest regards...

This from US Magazine

Easiest way to know where LeBron James will play next season would be to know where he's booked his next party, right? After all, the man has to celebrate in whatever city he picks, doesn't he?

If indeed that formula works, Us Magazine thinks it knows that LBJ is headed to the Miami Heat, based on James booking six cabanas at the W Hotel South Beach this weekend.

The celeb and gossip mag says that information comes from two sources.

Mike Wise writes about the reality TV show coming to ESPN tonight:

http://bit.ly/dkpFg4

No punches pulled.

I have a feeling we're seeing Lakers-Celtics again next year if this "Super Big 3" actually forms. With the J O'Neal signing, the Cs role players and bench will simply overwhelm what scrubs the Heat can sign with the pennies they have left over.

Aside from the Magic, there's no other worthy teams in the East.

Also a Super Big 3 will guarantee the Lakers will resign DFish, since the Heat would no longer be able to offer him anything over the minimum.

Even if LeBron doesn't sign with them, they'll now have no center with JON and Haywood snatched up while LeBron dithered. Thanks LeBron!

Only 8 hrs till HE makes the 'Decision'

I can't wait!!!!

Think I will name my next 2 babies after HIM.

Tell Steve Blake that I heard there is a house available close to me in Redondo Beach. It's currently occupied by Jordan Farmar, but it will be empty soon. Close to the beach and the Laker's practice facility.

_______________
haha that's actually pretty funny.

Laker Truth,

Spot on brother!!! Welcome Steve BLAKER!!! Lakers need to resign Fish and then go after Brad Miller since the Celtics picked up Jermaine O'Neal. Miller would be excellent in the triangle with his passing and ability to hit jumpers. He would be a great backup to Bynum and Pau, depending on the matchups that PJ would like to exploit. Get it done Mitch!

old news

i read it a few ours ago on Silver screen and roll. and the poster quoted it from a different blog

humurous?

original?

wondering what LakerTom will call you in this situation:
DISINGENUOUS?
or just an IMPOSTOR.

first and foremost... Art-Fl

you go on forums that has Blue & Gold???
isnt it suppose to be Purple & Gold??
or is that how you guys do your blogs in FL lol

second... I would say that Signing Blake was a good idea but too much money spent... dose anyone agree? i mean you have a VET D FISH and you dont want to give him 10mil for 2 years but you can give blake who knows nothing about this team, players, or our offense a 16mil 2 year contract... im sorry guys but commmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmeeeeeeeeeeeeee onnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn

you left a VETERANOOOOOOO to buy some cheap PG just to prove we have backcourt game?????? sasha could do a better job than him... i mean at least sign him for like 13mil or smthing so you can save at least extra 3-2mil for fishers contract. i think that kupchuk really screeewed this one up... free agency closed, DFIsh comes back from CHINA and we have no deal for him... Grrrrrr way to defend your 2010 NBA chapionship Mitch.. and his worried about signing Brown who need i say opted out of his contract to get more money from other team but no one bid for him...

i dunno fellaz but this stinkssss really bad...
first i get word that TMAC wants to play for us...
then we dump all our bench and we still have no money to sign our VET playerssssssss....

wheres Lewsters??? bring the SUV's back G we need to re sign fish and we cannot do it without the SUV's

Phils back now we need FISH!!!!!!!!!!!! D FISH!!!!!!!

I hope you all feel this way....

I'm very glad Steve Blake made a decisive choice early on in the free agent scramble.

He clearly showed and the Lakers, this is where he wants to be.....he wants to be a Lakers and that my friends makes him my friend as well.

Welcome Steve Blake!! May all of your dreams and wishes be fulfilled coming to the Lakers!!****

**** As long as they include several NBA Championships

Lewsters,

AHAHAHAH lmao

loved the Labuffon Apple joke i think you should give that to the Yahoo sports columnist...

ahahah im gonna txt that one to pretty much everyone...

ahaha

LakerTruth---I couldn't agree more about your point that Kobe has never had another guard to take on primary ball handling responsibilities and to pass him the ball.

I would love to see him moving off the ball and getting shots within the offense. Time will tell whether he's willing to do it. He's become pretty accustomed to handling the ball himself and creating his own shots.

finally, after the DARK AGES of Smushcalade and Fishcalade:

Does anyone know what happened to Smush and the Smushcalade?

Don't really care about Smush, but I would be interested in buying the Smushcalade for the right price.

I'm collecting old Lakers point guards cars that didn't do well on the Lakers. I want them for sentimental reasons.

He's become pretty accustomed to handling the ball himself and creating his own shots.

is there any other player except KOBE who can create his own shot on the Lakers????

Marc B, that's an awful lot of effort you put into hating on somebody. Get off the man's sack already.

Fatty

u have to travel along the Big China Wall. but i'm sure you will able to buy a Smushcalade car bust for like 1$

So .....

Does anyone, besides me, find it mildly amusing that the Lakers have not
acquiesced to D-Fish's demand for more $$?

So if PJ can make less & Artest can make less, how come D-Fish can't?

I'm just askin'

LEWSTRS,

Based on the last blog post from MM, you should add Kobe to the DFish Suburban (or is it a convoy at this point?).

All I can say is that after delivering back to back titles, there is *no way* DFish should be paid less than Blake. That would be a slap in the face after all he has given to the organization.

@CaliLove "arc B, that's an awful lot of effort you put into hating on somebody. Get off the man's sack already."

Actually, it took all of 5 minutes. About the same amount of time that it should've taken Princess Jimmy to announce his decision.

i'm surprised that no one on this blog commented on kevin Ding's article from yesterday regarding Fisher (maybe it was a little slip from the Lakers org.):

"Smart organizations offer contracts based on what they need to pay, not what they should or anything that has to do with things in the past."

"Just as no player should be allowed to hold out so as to renegotiate a contract he has signed, no club should lock itself into a future deal out of past loyalty or nostalgia."

---------------------------------

ohhhhhhhh that word that lakers fans don' like: NOSTALGIA. and i will add SENTIMENTALITY.

losing Fisher will make them MELANCOLIC.

but the process will be ROMANTIC (as in Fisher's daughter's cancer - disease was always part of the romanticism)

Brad Miller isn't coming here for 1.745 mil. Neither is anyone worth anything. Half cripple Jermaine Oneal got 6mil. Shaq should get 8-12.

There's really no one worth the rest of the MLE that could make a difference on the Lakers. Caracter has the best shot of being the big buried deep on the bench. Otherwise, Powell or Mbenga.

TYPO "CUT & PASTE" OF @CaliLove Quote

"arc B, that's an awful lot of effort you put into hating on somebody. Get off the man's sack already."

Obviously, should've been "Marc B, that's an awful lot of effort you put into hating on somebody. Get off the man's sack already."

However, Response is Still: "Actually, it took all of 5 minutes. About the same amount of time that it should've taken Princess Jimmy to announce his decision."

This Fish situation is a direct result of the Luke debacle. Signing a player to a a big deal before letting the market determine that player's actual market value is a mistake Mitch is not going to make again.

Kobe, please take a paycut and sign Terry Teagle.

LAL818,

Yep, it's called Forum Blue and Gold, I don't think it's a Florida blog.

Here's a brief explanation of the reason why they call it that with more info at the link:

"Forum Blue? Don’t the Lakers wear purple?

Some Laker fans who come here may not be familiar with the phrase “Forum blue and gold.”

It is a reference to the late, great Chick Hearn, who, back when the team played at the Fabulous Forum, used to refer to the home uniform colors as “Forum blue and gold.” Why? I’ll let commenter Jon explain”

http://www.forumblueandgold.com/forum-blue/

As for Fish, not much left for me to say, I have made it pretty clear how I feel about wanting him back.

HOBBIT:

So if PJ can make less & Artest can make less, how come D-Fish can't?

Response:

Because he is the only leader of lakers team and not Kobe (side kick)

Someone on the ESPN chat just made an astute comment that a lot of bloggers here will like. It's with respect to who's to blame for the anticipated lockout of 2010-2011 for renegotiation of the CBA

"Zach Harper:
I'd blame the Mid-Level Exception for the next one. So Beno, Luke Walton, etc."

So there you have it. If there's a lockout next season, blame Luke.

Colin Cowhard made a comment on the radio a few hours ago that the Lakers are interested in Toronto's Hedo Turkoglu now that they're about to blow up their roster, they're talking Sasha and Farmar in a sign and trade or Sasha and Luke straight up...this would be great

>>>The only problem is that it only VIBRATES. Since it "doesn't have a RING!"

LOL

FredJ,

Sasha and Luke for Hedo?
Are you kidding?

===============

LTLF,

Lukes to blame for the potential lockout, I'm still laughing, but hey, why not.

>>>I'm collecting old Lakers point guards cars that didn't do well on the Lakers. I
>>>want them for sentimental reasons.

WTF!?!??!

I don't have anything to say but...

BOSTON SUCKS!!!

BOSTON SUCKS!!!

BOSTON SUCKS!!!

Now i feel great :-)

>>>All I can say is that after delivering back to back titles, there is *no way*
>>>DFish should be paid less than Blake. That would be a slap in the face after
>>>all he has given to the organization.

MBenga, Powell, and Morrison also just delivered back to back titles. Not to mention Farmar and Brown.

Do you think they deserve more than Blake as well?

Basically, you can't just overpay every player who contributed some amount to the title. Fish's skills are clearly declining. Last season he was just barely worth 5 million. This season I can't see him being as effective. They'll probably end up paying him 3 or 4 for 2 years, which will either match what Blake's making or be close.

How bout the slap in the face Buss took last year when he had HIS income cut in half? You don't seem to mind that.

>>>Outlaw was signed by the Nets for 35 not for 25 (pay attention)

Good catch, ouchhhhhh. I underestimated the stooooopid overspending of the other desperate teams in the league.

>>>Kobe, please take a paycut and sign Terry Teagle.

What is this? 1990?

I still believe James best option to win a ring is CHICAGO BULLS. Here he gets everything he wants, IT IS THE LOGICAL CHOICE!!! MONEY, BIG MARKET, MJ HEIR, CHAMPOIONSHIP NUCLEUS READY FOR DYNASTY if he chooses to join them..

Luke wasn't signed for the actual MLE was he? We had his bird rights. Mitch just gave him an MLE contract for max years. Probably about double what the next nearest bidder would've offered.

In Fish's case, I doubt anyone will offer more than a BIA or Vet's minimum.

Mitch just doesn't want to bid against himself this time.

LBJ is going nowhere. You don't build a 35,000 square foot house worth more than the entire state of Ohio to just leave it.

Delonte West, however, will have an unfortunate accident in his future.

Hmmm...

New rumor has lakers looking to get Hedo for possibly Sasha & Luke...

I can Roll with that.

Hedo is like Sasha's & Luke's best qualities rolled into one... Me like-it-a-lot...

if no other team wants Fisher, does that mean that the Fish was left in the sun to DRY?

Were are these rumors of Hedo coming to the Lakers coming from? If those are true, heck yea!!! I would love Hedo coming off the bench with LO and Blaker if Fish gets sign.

if no other team wants Fisher, does that mean that the Fish was left in the sun to DRY?

-------------

only if it is well salted and smoked!

i'm afraid that in the smoking phase the intangibles will fade away. :-)

a dried salted Fish is good only for green papaya salad.

anchovies anyone?????????????

I just thought of this...

If we sign Fish and the Hedo rumor has any meat to it and comes to pass, we will essentially have what amounts to a Starting Roster, on any other team (i.e Clips, Nets, etc...), coming off the bench...

Starters: Kobe, Gasol, Bynum, Artest, Fish

Bench: Lamar, Hedo, Blake, Brown, (insert Center here)

You get my drift... Scarier than the Super Miaminage Trois.

Word From The Eastern Front:

I just got off the phone with my father out in Northeastern Ohio. An Akron beat writer has broken the story that LeBron is going to Miami. In addition, the Bath, Ohio police department has increased patrols all around LeBron's neighborhood because it is believed that his family and possee won't be safe when the news breaks.

You heard it here first!

What do we play for? RINGS!!!

Lakers Today... Lakers Tomorrow... Lakers Forever.

GO LAKERS!!!

Let's see the Lakers vs. the Bronze winning USA Team led by Lebron now called the Miami Heat? Lakers FTW. Mark it down.

Big 3 bows down to our Dy-NASTY Big 4 TEAM. Just ask the Celtics.

Any team willing to take Luke off our hands must have inside knowledge that he's set to retire.

That being said, if it's true, the Raptors will be my second favorite team!

I never expected you to also be a hater! I had a reserved DVD of "Princess Jimmy Does The RiverDance on Broadway" just for you. But after this, i'm sorry lil sister but no DVD for you. This hurts me just as much as it hurts you Faith, but there is no reason to be jealous of Princess Jimmy, after all he is God's favorite. Now I'm giving you one last Chance. watch The Princess Jimmy Special tonight and afterwards do a 1000 page report on why Princess Jimmy is so great. I know, I know 1000 pages is not enough to extol the greatness but, just this once I will cut you some slack. Turn it in Monday and yes, Yes, YES!!! That PRINCESS JIMMY DVD can be YOURS!!!!!!

OH GOODNESSSSSS! STOP THIS JON K. STOP THIS NOW!!! ROFLMFAO!!!!

I don't think Jerry Colangelo lost his mind in trading his best player for Sasha and Luke or even Farmar. That's far from truth, tho' here is a possibility. It was on twitter today that Lakers are interested of Matt Barnes at the remaining MLE. Well, the ex-Bruin opted out from the Magic at 1.6M so he fits to the salary cap. This is good defense tho' he has to make peace with Kobe and laker fans.

SCARY PROPOSITION WITH lbj, dwade and bosh on the same team...

i am for sure concerned.. this does not spell good for PJ's LAST STAND and Kobe's quest for the greatest lakers with 6th title.

dang!

Another Gasol trade like, being masterminded by Mitch K. His secret he goes after teams that no longer wants the services/contract of the player and vice versa, player no longer wants to play for them. Gasol, Ariza, Ammo/Brown, all same pattern, HT next!

In 3 hrs' we finally can get this EGO DRIVEN CHARADE over with and we can get on with our job of being back to back champs. I will say that the lakers should be real flattered to think they have to join forces to beat us!!Some are already CROWNING them 2011 Chumps. As Kobe ALWAYS says. You have to go thru the DEFENDING CHAMPS and that BE US BABY. We really don't get much R_E_S_P_E_C_T_!!!!!!!!!!!!All Phil and the LAKER"S need is a CHALLENGE. Bring em on!

at 7PM Pacific a coalition of 28 GM (no Heat or Lakers), 28 coaches and 420 (28 x 15) players will have a conference on ESPN called

Edwin:

Matt Barns and Lamar have had issues in the recent past (during post season) and I recall Lamar letting out a 4 letter word to Barnes.

Hedo for Luke and Sasha would be great! Can you imagine two 6'10 guys in Turk and LO on the floor at the same time running the offense with their passing ability and all around game? I hope Mitch can swing that deal. Hedo can also shoot the three, create his own shot and has a knack of drawing fouls. He would be a great addition to our team and I'm sure he would welcome it since he no longer wants to be in Toronto.

Latest twit tweat -

Lakers are interested in Matt Barnes, but no offer has been made yet.

I'm thinkin' poor man's Raja Bell.

OUCHHHHHHHHH!!!! YOU'RE BACK!!!!!!! ROTFLMAO!!!!

Good to see you back to your old self!

Add me to the DFish Suburban Caravan....

LeBron at the microphone, under the TV spotlights . . .

“I’ve come here tonight to let the world know . . .”

[Drum roll]

“ . . . that I still haven’t made up my mind.”

ART OF FL...

your my type of a guy... very well explained sir... now i know better lol

so this was in reference to their blue and white classic jerseys? well actuall every team brought up their old jerseys refering to 60's 70's again 2 years ago??

right on sir thank you!

Hey Laker Fam,
here's a pretty cool video from the Oregonian on Steve Blake. Shows him dribbling with eyes closed. Sounds like a pretty humble guy. I think he's a perfect addition to the team.

when thinking of rumors out there, the Lakers usually do their B.I. on the lowlow and comes to many as a surprise. I would expect them to keep that going....

Curious George,

That's Ok, after the game, all is forgotten and forgiven. They are just focused on Trophy #17 and three peat against all odds.

>>>Luke wasn't signed for the actual MLE was he? We had his bird rights. Mitch
>>>just gave him an MLE contract for max years.

NO NO NO NO NO.

Again, Luke was paid about 1.5 to 2 million per year LESS than the MLE. It was for a full 6 years, but it was like 20-30% under full MLE money (I'm too lazy to look up the exact MLE number for summer 2007 right now).

Luke's contract started at 4 million. MLE now starts at 5.8 million (actually, higher than that, since the Cap is higher than expected). Back in 2007 it was right around there, just a bit less.

Does anyone have a source for this Turkoglu rumor? I heard it on Colin Cowherd, but he didn't provide a source.

The money doesn't work out for the Lakers, to add that much salary for a backup SF. It just doesn't make sense.

I mean, if they were making the offer for Calderon, I'd believe it. That would be thumbing their nose at Fisher, but Calderon makes less than Turkey-lurkey, his contract is one year shorter, and he plays a position where the Lakers have greater need.

Guys, i'm so sick of Baby Wade. He wines and cries until he gets the two top free agents. I hope Miami falls on their ass. Bringing in Labron and Bosh is just assinine. the league should not allow this. This will literally ruin several teams. I'm so upset right now I cant even think straight. Miami is getting 3 franchise palyers and we cant even offer mike miller a measly 5 mill contract. I'm just sick right now. Any comments are welcome.

"Tell Steve Blake that I heard there is a house available close to me in Redondo Beach. It's currently occupied by Jordan Farmar, but it will be empty soon. Close to the beach and the Laker's practice facility."

Too late...they've already leased a house 2 doors down from me on Walnut in Gundo.
