Lakers are losers and thugs, sorry the good guys are gonna win....rock on Boston
Posted by: melissa | June 13, 2010 at 06:15 PM
Lakers are again being hustled to submission in the in the first half and they allow it. LO still putting up a pathetic defense.
Let's go Lakers, get them in the 2nd half. YOU CAN DO IT.
Posted by: Edwin Gueco | June 13, 2010 at 06:17 PM
Nope, lady leprechaun Boston are the thugs of NBA
Lakers are the defending Champions. Whatever happens in Boston, you'll come back to Staples and we'll fry you here.

Does anyone now think it was a good idea to let Ariza go and get Artest???
Posted by: dj855 | June 13, 2010 at 07:45 PM
POOR FT SHOOTING FROM PAU, LAMOND AND ARTEST
Posted by: Fred G. Sanford | June 13, 2010 at 07:48 PM
We wouldn't be here w/o Artest. OKC would have beat us. Boston would have won game 1 or 3 w/o Artest's defense on Pierce.
Posted by: rdlee | June 13, 2010 at 07:50 PM
This is like 1988. We win games 6 & 7 at home.
Posted by: rdlee | June 13, 2010 at 07:52 PM
Why the Lakers coddle Andrew Bynum is beyond me. I'm wondering what Chris Kaman could have done for this team.
The Clippers practically gave away Marcus Camby and Sebastian Telfair for a backup point guard in Steve blake. You're tellng me the Lakers couldn't pony up Shannon Brown for Marcus Camby?
Oh well, Celtics in six. No more bragging rights and free games for Tony Villar.
Posted by: XM | June 13, 2010 at 07:53 PM
Artest and Odom HAVE to go. Unfortunately no one wants them.
Posted by: dj855 | June 13, 2010 at 07:53 PM
rdlee,
thanks for jinxing the last chance Lakers have. Thanks. Geez. Don't you know better?
Posted by: dj855 | June 13, 2010 at 07:54 PM
A couple of missed free throws and bad calls down the stretch. This is extremely disappointing.
On the bright side, if Boston can win 2 in a row at home, there's no reason we can't do the same here in LA. This series ain't over.
Posted by: EJK | June 13, 2010 at 07:55 PM
Wow, we are terrible on the road. We are REALLY LUCKY we won Game 3.
I'm a huge pessimist, but I think we'll win Games 6 & 7 at home. This was Boston's Game 7...
Just a feeling.
Posted by: dewey | June 13, 2010 at 07:55 PM
The Celtics dominated the entire game. They were better prepared. PJ sat and did nothing. End of series. Another humiliating defeat at the hands of our mortal enemies.
Posted by: dj855 | June 13, 2010 at 07:55 PM
Btw: PAU, ODUMB and ARTEST all SUCK!!!!!!!!!!!
Posted by: dewey | June 13, 2010 at 07:56 PM

Posted by: Fred G. Sanford | June 13, 2010 at 07:56 PM
When the Lakers won their 3 peat and last year, I was in SoCal. The other losses, I was away. As long as I live away from SoCal, the Lakers will never win a championship.

Wow, the refs tried very hard to give it to LA but teh just did not have the power. This was a 20+ point win.
Posted by: Celtics Ken | June 13, 2010 at 07:57 PM
ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHH
They won 2, we'll win 2.
Analysis doesn't matter, we're winin' it in 7,

Posted by: Celtics Ken | June 13, 2010 at 07:58 PM
Phil will live with getting beat. Good news!
Posted by: Celtics Ken | June 13, 2010 at 07:59 PM
Who is this Fred G. Sanford hugging the blog calling for lamond, another leprechaun under stress similar to that fan who threw something at Kobe. Thugs of NBA, you bet they are and proud of it.
We lost the game because we have only one Kobe, Ihope next year, they trade half of the team and get two Kobe's by signing D'Wade. What we need is heart and that's what's lacking with some of our players.
Posted by: Edwin Gueco | June 13, 2010 at 08:00 PM
Where are the Laker posters? Bring it on!!!
Posted by: Celtics Ken | June 13, 2010 at 08:00 PM
It's over. Just watch your worst enemy who beats you at everything getting the girl you always wanted, your dream job. The Lakers are the Red Sox and the Celtics the Yankees. The Lakers are the Cubs and the Celtics the Championship.

So true. Boston has shown heart. We only have one and Kobe cannot beat them alone.
Posted by: Hügö Böss | June 13, 2010 at 08:01 PM
Do you have a team?????? What are you? How are you defined? You get all the calls and you still can't win. You should be ashamed.
Posted by: Celtics Ken | June 13, 2010 at 08:03 PM
Do you have a bench??? You have the refs but is that enough?
Posted by: Celtics Ken | June 13, 2010 at 08:04 PM
Another leprechaun at a loss calling the Lakers Minnesota Lakers haha must be an old one still in the fifties looking for Mikan. Are the Brooklyn dodgers winning too?
Here is a fact, that was the last game of the Celtics in Boston. Paula of Inglewood is coming home. Lakers will win 6th and 7th that will be great championship.

It's not over!
We can do this!
Go Lakers!
Posted by: Rocky | June 13, 2010 at 08:07 PM
after game 3 FISH thought that he is the second coming. in the first half he single-handedly lost the game. do we really need him to be the HERO?
FISH back to his NORMAL - just a scrub
Posted by: ouchhhhhhhh | June 13, 2010 at 08:09 PM
Hugo Boss, how do you design your ears on the o's?
What happened to Shannon Brown? Was he injured or a victim of the rotation limbo? It is such a regimental kind of thinking Shannon is a 2, PJ played Sasha so Shannon gets to the 3rd tier. Can he play another position other than 2? According to PJ's thinking Fisher and Farmar are 1, you can't interchange places even if Lakers need defense and shooting. Good or bad coaching, I leave that to all the fans to make that conclusion.
Posted by: Edwin Gueco | June 13, 2010 at 08:11 PM
how long we have to watch FARMAR coming in and trying to be a HERO? why do SCRUBS get control of the GAME?
Posted by: ouchhhhhhhh | June 13, 2010 at 08:13 PM
Here is the Bright Side:
We win Game 6 & 7 and the Celtics and their fans will be destroyed...it will actually be sweeter that way.

LMAO! You had this planned all along. You sly devil. You are one step ahead of everyone.
Whatever makes you feeel better and helps you sleep tonite.
Posted by: Celtic Nation | June 13, 2010 at 08:17 PM
Watch what happens in LA...Lakers will get all the momentum of playing at home. They will get rebounds, loose balls, Artest will look good again and our bench will show up and, magically, the Celtics bench will look human, Pierce will be owned again by Artest, etc.
Remember, the Lakers have only lost one home game during the playoffs and it took a record performance by Ray Allen...that isn't happening in a Game 7.
Boston's toast.
Tonight was their championship.
Posted by: dewey | June 13, 2010 at 08:20 PM
Man, I'm spent emotionally. We had chances to get close enough to put the pressure on them and things (and calls) didn't go our way in that 4th quarter.
I'm disappointed in Artest. The one thing we should be able to count on with him should be his D. It was non-existent tonight. I was honestly expecting a blowout tonight and it didn't happen even with boston shooting such a high percentage so i'm not terrified going back to LA. I still have hope.
Posted by: cerveza | June 13, 2010 at 08:21 PM
We lost, the Celtics thrown all they've got , they hustled, rebounded in the last 5 mins., they shot well from the floor, they defended well, the crowd was pandemonium....the Lakers played sporadic offense, they were terrible on the boards, free throws in the last minutes were horrible and they did not play good defense...AND YET THE GAME WAS TOO CLOSE!!!!...The Celtics played what ought to be played on their home court though the Lakers should match that intensity....we have to defend our territory..game 6 is a war for the Lakers!!!! I still have faith on my team...we should not be intimidated or shaken by what the trolls gonna say...the loss was tough but it's not the end....the Celtics need 1 more , our team needs 2 wins....it's still ups for grabs....the fat lady has not sing yet!!!! Do not lose heart!!!!Just continue to believe!!!!Go Lakers!!!

Posted by: Celtic Nation | June 13, 2010 at 08:23 PM
Those fake lakers fan's celebrities better bring it tuesday. No wait. They're too good to cheer.
We could have won if Gasol, Odom, Fisher, Vujacic, Walton, and everyone and their mother's would have chiped in just a little bit. Just a little.
COME ON ALL YOU FANS ON TUESDAY AT STAPLES. BRING IT AND MAKE IT UNCOMFORTABLE FOR THOSE JERKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Posted by: DANG | June 13, 2010 at 08:24 PM
By the way, how could the refs not see the ball not hitting the rim on that Allen shot?
Did they not see the replay??
Posted by: cerveza | June 13, 2010 at 08:24 PM
LISTENING TO MAGIC WHO SUGGESTED THAT KOBE NEEDS TO INVOLVE HIS TEAM MATES AND NOT TRY TO WIN IT SINGLE HANDEDLY, SIMPLE.. OTHERWISE SAME RESULTS IN GAME 6...
Posted by: Fred G. Sanford | June 13, 2010 at 08:25 PM
Kobe brings the balls to the front court, Kobe facilitates and could not find any opening, Kobe shoots for two or three, Kobe rebounds his shots, Kobe shoots for free throws.
Gasol was blocked while dunking shots, Artest missed three free throws in closing minutes, Fisher could not stop Allen, Lamar could not stop anybody and blames Sasha.
How do you expect to win a game with that kind of showmanship? No heart, No help on Kobe and no fighting spirit!!!
We are only fans here but could not help but ask those questions the Lakers of 2010. Are the coaches saying the same thing or satisfied with the unfinished job?
Posted by: Edwin Gueco | June 13, 2010 at 08:25 PM
I want to read his 20 paragraphs of garbage.
I want him to enlighten me with his knowledge.
Posted by: Celtic Nation | June 13, 2010 at 08:25 PM
A lot of non calls again by the refs!!!! What is this amateur hour?
Posted by: DANG | June 13, 2010 at 08:26 PM
Without Bynum, Gasol was left alone to contend with the Celtics big boys, which then affected his offense. Kobe shooting all by himself did not help us because the lead did not get any smaller. Artest killed the last chance by missing out on possible 3 pt play and then missing the free throws.
I love the Lakers ; I loathe the Celtics; but if the Lakers play this way, might as well give the Celtics the championship trophy on Tuesday night.
Posted by: carina | June 13, 2010 at 08:28 PM
Fellow Lakers Fans.
Please...stop all refs fault talk. The Celtics won this game for a multitude of obvious reasons. Name one aspect of the game where the Lakers dominated?
Waiting....
Posted by: Arizona Laker Fan | June 13, 2010 at 08:29 PM
It's hard to see LA coming back in this series. Without bynumb, pau and lamar tend to get stomped.
Paul Pierce is kind of annoying after he wins a game. His ego is as large as bryant's.
Posted by: BUTLER | June 13, 2010 at 08:29 PM
THERE WILL BE NO GAME 7!
THE BOSTON CELTICS ARE WINNING IT ALL IN GAME 6!!!
Posted by: The Fat Lady | June 13, 2010 at 08:31 PM
Those refs were awfully hesitant to call those blatant fouls against the Celtics weren't they. It looked painful for them blowing the whistles against the Celts. Wow. Can't believe that. Well since most people go with 6 games in vegas and seeing these unbelievable non calls I have to say the Lakers have a sixth man in game 6. If they can somehow win it by getting non buyable refs then there might be a game 7. I don't know about a game 7 because like I said most people go with 6 games out of 7 in a 7 game series. So those odds are against the Lakers.
Posted by: DANG | June 13, 2010 at 08:33 PM
WE did not play defense !!!!!That's the story!!! However, we just lost by 6 pts.!!!!We know our team plays extremely well in Staples than on the road!!! Let's expect the crowd to back our players!!!!It's win or go home!!!!!Have faith!!!
Posted by: appolo c. vermont | June 13, 2010 at 08:34 PM
Celtics Ken,
The Celtics are the dirtiest team in the league. They foul on every possession, cry if they get a foul called, if they get fouled hard like they do on every possession, they lash out. Then their coach cry baby Doc, who did nothing until he was gifted Garnett, video tapes stuff to send to the league??? What a cry baby. They're the dirtiest team I've ever seen in sports. Garnett makes a basket, goes back on defense, get's on all fours and barks like a dog? Nate Robinson gets in peoples faces and barks at them every time he makes a basket.
The Celtics will almost certainly win it all this year. They play hard. But they play dirty. Unfortunately, in sports, teams that play dirty win, so I know the Celtics will win it all this year. Just like the Pats. How many Championships have Belicheat won since he was found out???
Anyway, at least I have more of a life than a loser like you who has nothing better to do than to go on someone else's blog to gloat when you win. What a loser. I'd rather have my team play with dignity and lose and be gracious than to make a fool out of myself like you.
Posted by: dj855 | June 13, 2010 at 08:34 PM
dj,
Sounds like you like to cry too.
Posted by: Celtic Nation | June 13, 2010 at 08:36 PM
WHOSE BEHIND NOW?
LAKERS WILL NOT WIN 2 AT HOME!
Posted by: The Fat Lady | June 13, 2010 at 08:38 PM
Magic could pass the ball to Byron, James, Kareem, Coop'.
Kobe pass it to whom? Tell me who is the qualified scorer out there. Gasol, he needs to go to the gym and add more body weight, oh Artest on slump could not shoot anything even if the ring is as wide as an ocean, well Lamar always an m.i.a. in big games, Fisher, a bulldog in the other night and brickdog in this game. How can you compare Kobe's teammates during Magic's time?

Will you Celtics fans come back here and take your beating AFTER we win Games 6 & 7?
No, didn't think so...
Cool it dudes, we got this thing on Thursday!
Posted by: dewey | June 13, 2010 at 08:41 PM
This shows that this team is one dimensional. It's too bad that Buss is a cheapskate. If he spent less time drinking and driving and sleeping with 2o year olds, then the team wouldn't be on the verge of losing 10!!!!! times to the Celtics.
If he had signed Ariza too, which he could have, or at least a back up who can provide a little offense, the series would have been different. He should have tried to sign at least one more scorer.
The Lakers need to make some big moves in the off season if they don't want to end up losing yet again in the Finals. They need a quick guard, they need someone who can come in for 10 minutes and be a rebound machine, they need 2 shooters. They need to try to get Kyle Korver and Boozer, and dump Artest and Odom.
Posted by: dj855 | June 13, 2010 at 08:41 PM
CAN YOU HEAR THE VIOLIN LAKER FANS?
THE CELTICS WILL BE CROWNED 2010 NBA CHAMPIONS IN LA!
Posted by: The Fat Lady | June 13, 2010 at 08:41 PM
Why is anybody taking solace in the fact that the Lakers only lost by 5 points?
The Celtics never lost control of the game; the Lakers never got the lead down to a one possession game (now if Artest could make some throws); the Lakers rarely had a key stop; the Celtics killed them with offensive boards late in the 4th. We got dominated. Period.
