Lamar - He was a bit disappointing in this year's playoffs, but I am going to give him a free pass since he came up so big in the prior two playoffs. His shoulder injury seemed to have a significant impact on his play. I expect the real and healthy Lamar to show up next season.
Farmar - The reason your minutes stayed the same for the past four years is because your game, your decision making, your FTs, and your attitude never improved. I HIGHLY DOUBT Farmar will be a starter in this league. There are too many good PGs (and more coming) for him to start on any team. His best chance will be to play heavy backup minutes on a bad team.
Mike Miller / Kyle Korver - I like these guys for the Lakers, but if Sasha can build from this year, he can easily provide the outside shooting this team lacked. I also expect Artest to be a bigger perimeter threat next year, and as terrifying as this may sound, Luke might be healthy enough for 10-15 minutes off the bench as well. The Lakers are working under a tight budget, so a PG who can shoot 3's and defend is a much more pressing need than a backup SG or SF.
Steve Blake - HELL YES. This guy is the anti-Farmar. Makes good decisions, doesn't turn the ball over, is a pass first PG, shoots the 3 ball well, and plays decent defense. This kid is all hustle and would be an ideal backup PG in the triangle.
Kwame Brown - All reports indicate that MBenga and Powell will be gone, which means the Lakers need an inexpensive veteran big man. If Kwame is willing to take a huge paycut, I say go for it. Too much was expected out of Kwame when he was with the Lakers. Phil wanted Kwame to be our low post offensive presence - LOL. With this current team, all he would be needed for is defense and rebounding. He already knows the triangle, and with less pressure to score, the right guidance and work ethic, he can potentially turn into a Perkins type player.

LO is as cool as the other side of the pillow.

LO looks very happy...Poor Khloe burned her pek pek, while Kourtney tried to give her a wax job...lol
Well LO, let's work on that right hand this summer, and get some moves going to your right instead of just your left...
Khloe can reward him with that "gummy love canal"...of course after it heals...

Artest saved Odom's mythical Switch ON & OFF. This guy doesn't understand the responsibilities of being a star, he needs to be told at all times. He is like a nail and without the help of the hammer he is deemed useless.

NO No no and hell to the no on Kwame.
He HAS no work ethic. He creates automatic 4 on 5s when we go to offense.
He will NEVER be anything like Kendrick Perkins.
He is a bad influence and all he'll do is party and drop the ball when we pass it to him. He's also a terrible rebounder, whining he doesn't get any rebounds because Odom gets them all.
I'd pull Charles Barkley out of retirement before I accepted this move.

My apologies. I got a bit impatient with the blog not accepting my input. It does make for sort of a funny anti-Kwame pitch, almost as insane as Mike T's manlust for him.

As everyone suggests, the lakers would need a reliable defender at backup PF to allow LO to slide to 3.
What about Amundson from Phoenix? He's a rugged defender with good feet and can hit the boards on putbacks. His skills make him suitable for a big or small lineup.
I'd love to have Korver as well because he's dead-on from beyond the arc, and he's physical and mentally tough enough to be productive in a long playoff season.
I think Blake, though, is target no. 1. He could lengthen D-Laker's tenure by two seasons.
