Lakers have no problems with offense, it is in the defense was relaxed a little bit. Clean up those t/o's less dribbling, more passing as we go for the kill. Y0u Lakers are the defending Champs, keep it up we have two more quarters to go.

Jon K, the game is not over, we forgot to say our prayers, I will say it in the shortest way possible:

"Let us remember that we are in the holy presence of God;
Thank you Lord for giving them the much needed grace and composure in the first half;
Continue providing them the strength and the will to fight;
We leave it in your hands and glory in the 2nd half."

That's about 4 straight bonehead plays by Lamar in the 3rd - he's turning the ball over on offense, giving them free throws by holding the ball, and leaving Grant Hill completely unguarded for a wide open 8 footer.

Why can't Lamar seem to play well for two games in a row?

I still think the Lakers will win, but if Lamar played as hard as he did in that first game EVERY game, this one would already be a blowout as well.

Lakers defense has vanished. This is two straight quarters where the Lakers have allowed Phoenix to score 30 or more.

Lamar stands in front of Steve Nash and doesn't even put his hands up. Easy shot by Nash.

Lamar bricks a shot from the free throw line.

Two more crappy plays by Lamar.

KOBE needs to stop leaving Dudley wide open.

EJK

really, LBJ's jock does not taste great anymore. didn't u wanted to trade KOBE just for the past 2 months? please humor me more, because u r a funny guy

talking about backpedalling (even if it used by a C's fan)

go look for jimjoyce and LA Guy among others

BLOGS DON'T LIE

There's this ouccchh clown again making a fool of himself. Instead of measuring the thickness of your skin, maybe you should be more concerned about the size of your brain.

Find one place in the history of this blog where I've advocated trading Kobe for LBJ. I've always advocated trading Drew for LBJ, you clown. You even make this DFish clown sound articulate.

Well, I think the Suns' defense is about as good as slouchhhhh's sense of humor.

How about another lame attempt at humor, slouchhhh?

Lamar with another lucky double-double!! I really liked that lucky azz dunk on top of Amare's head in the 4th Q!!

The 4th Q: Lakers 34 Phuns 22!!

DFish...

I thought you were banned! You should be, if you can't acknowledge that Derek is doing a fine job on Mr. two-time MVP.

We can outscore you.

We can out-defend you.

We can go tall.

We can go small.

Now what you gonna try Phuns??

And by the way - we can out-Scola you if we have to.

HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

Yeah, Amare...That Pau that you used to school in Memphis (according to you) is long gone, brother!!! This is the new, improved Pau. Combined with Lucky Lamar, you just don't stand a chance.

Yeah Babeeee! Great win! Pau Gasoft, ha, ha, ha, comes through as usual! Nice job from Jordan too. Oh, LO had another LUCKY game! A little dicey at the 4th Q break, but our defense was super in that Q!

Wonder what stupid thing A-Mare will say next?

i say lamar's game was better tonight.

EJK,

I hear you, he's a major tool.

Justa, nice Scola reference.

Another 'Lucky' win, I guess. Let's see if we get 'Lucky' in PHX.

LO was lucky, lucky that Amare was checking him.

Mark G - so what do you think they'll try against us in Phx?

I think they'll play better unless we keep the crowd out of it.

I still say sweep.

The long tentacles of Lakers hands reached the inner sanctum of Sun offense as such they were suffocated in the 4th Q. We have little heroes in Farmar in turning the tide down in the early 4th while Gasol continue to play SOFT POWER taking the Suns into segments of little tortillas, Lakers win.

Did you see that victory 131, Red it is a finesse game no physical force and no cheating involved? Celtics has to win moral and clean victories toe to toe with Dwight in order for us to be convinced that you really deserve to be in the Finals.

Btw, no faux Pau, ooooooh great Catalan power.

Justa, it seemed like the Small team worked best for them with Dudley, for a while at least. I think they'll stick with something like they tried tonight. Obviously their scrubs should shoot better at home.

I can see them taking one at home, but I'll defer to your sweep predictions if you're feeling it. :)

Kobe and Pau were totally in snych, LO too. WTH, they all played well tonight!

Ron just said there is no playbook for the Triangle.... I have (amazon.com) a book by Tex Winter that breaks it down totally, I'm sure there have been additions and changes, but there actually is a book. I have 2 copies, Hey Ron, trade you the book for some tickets!!!! (LOL)

I just have to express my appreciation for Ron Artest.

I didn't want him. I was totally against him becoming a Laker. "He's crazy" I said. "He's looney tunes". "He talks about himself in the 3rd person". Yadda yadda yadda.

I have since eaten crow with a huge side of humble pie.

This man is the perfect teammate. All heart, hustle and defense. No trouble. Not a lot of drama. Not even a hint of crazy.

He's like Kobe in the sense that once he's focused, he's all in. He's locked down some of the best players in the game, and we ain't seen nothing yet.

Keep doing what you're doing and you're gonna get your ring, Ronron. 6 more wins and it's all yours.

I love him. I love Ron Artest. I hope he's a Laker for Life.

I hope Amare has some "words of wisdom" prepared for Game 3... Something like "Lakers just had a lucky game 2" pr something. Hehehe!

"Coach Tex Winter: Triangle Basketball (Paperback)
~ Ann Parr (Author) " less than $20, softcover....not a tiny paperback...

Justa, I'm dying to see Ron put the beat down on Paul Pierce.

Justa, I'm dying to see Ron put the beat down on Paul Pierce.

Mark G - OH SON!! ME TOO!!!!!

That's gonna be some kinda fun!

That whole wheelchair gig is gonna get REAL very, very fast.

About Ron, I got slammed during the year because I said his shorts look a little tight (compared to the big shorts) that most players wear. I guess someone was trying to "label me"....

human - it's not you. I started a "Get Ronron some Longer Shorts" bandwagon earlier.... not a lot of riders on it though. Everyone seems to think it works for him lol!

Can I COMPLAIN yet about the time before the next game? Shoot the scheduler.

And I forgot to record this game, ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

Mchale, trading Garnett to the Celtics, now that was a lubricated one...

WOW - The Bean with a playoff career high 13 assists!!

CONGRATS to our very own Black Mamba!

I think our team needs a tougher game in Phoenix for games 3&4. I really want Phoenix to put up some real hard defense so the Lakers could have an excellent scrimmage in preparation fro the NBA finals, it's boring up to now. The Lakers need some physical game so they can stretch those muscle a little bit....nice to see Artest hitting those 3's.....Go Lakers....

justa, I think he just wants to show off all that hard work...looking at his body, he isn't a natural buff dude, his arms are not that much larger than Kobe, he worked hard to achieve a very fit body.

human - you could be right. He can show off whatever he wants as long as his D is on display too!

Reggie Miller is a newly converted Laker lover? Nawwwww I must be hearing things.....

He can show off whatever he wants as long as his D is on display too!

I know you must be talking about his Defense?

apollo c (Creed?),
I'm sorry that you lost that fight to Rocky.....It was great you and him eventually became friends. I won't get into the outcome. You were a great fighter.
I agree we need to up that toughness for the finals cuz it'll probably be the Leper-Cons, and the refs let their style of play go.....

We have a plant service that comes into our office every week, and the guy that does my area also works a 2nd job at a restaurant in LA (forget what it's called right now). Anyways - the Lakers were all there last night with some family watching the Septic game. (They all go in sorta regularly according to my source). He said they were talking about that series and what was happening out East.

They are strategizing for the Finals too y'all. This is gonna be SWEET.

But first the phuns...

Garnett, work on your Malibu house, it's ugly...you should have bought on the ocean side of PCH!!!!

GREAT win tonight!!

I'm so happy!!

Gonna sleep like a baby!!

GOOD NIGHT EVERYONE!!

(and yes mark g i was talking about his defense lol!)

If the Lakers sweep they will have a 9 day layoff until the Finals. Do they really want that long a layoff?....
Sure, why not?! Keep the brooms out.
10 down, 6 to go!

The Lakers must attack, attack, attack in game 3 and not let up. We get off to a quick start in game 3 and tighten up on defense, we'll be in great shape. Go Lakers!!!

It looks like this series is headed towards a sweep. I'd be really surprised if this series went longer than 5. When was the last time we lost? It seems like ages ago.

Great contributions from everyone that played tonight. PJ shortened the rotation to just 8 men. All 8 played well and brought something positive to the table. Jordan was huge, especially in the opening minutes of the 4th. All around just a very good game.

justa,
remember the almost Reggie/Kobe fight?????
the almost Jesus Shuttlesworth/Kobe fight?????

LOL!!!!! OK back to life....

According to Laker haters McHale and Webber on NBA-TV, the Lakers are only being effective because of a lack of Phun defense. No mention of the fact that the Show is picking Phx. apart with good teamwork and precision passing. Granted, the Lakers are LUCKY that Amare is anchoring the middle for the Phuns!

I'm extremely happy with the wins, but can we play better D?

If we have an off shooting night in Phx, they could easily win

Alvin Gentry called Kobe the best player on the planet during his post game press conference.

Amare gave LO some credit this time for playing a great game.

Lakers must stayed focused and more determined in Phoenix. Be patient on offense and stick with what has worked.

The lucky barstool is now 92-18.

Not fricken bad.

What do we play for? RINGS!!!

Lakers Today... Lakers Tomorrow... Lakers Forever.

GO LAKERS!!!

EJK,

"When was the last time we lost? It seems like ages ago."

We're playing Championship caliber basketball right now. It's beautiful.

What do we play for? RINGS!!!

Lakers Today... Lakers Tomorrow... Lakers Forever.

GO LAKERS!!!!

EJK,

Alvin Gentry would freeze the game at the end of 3rd when they were able to tie the score. He will play small in Phoenix and go for 3pt. lotto. Lakers are peaking at the right time, injuries are healing fast as they come together as a team. To all fans in the blog who are critical or worried of Kobe, you asked him to pass, he passed the ball tonight with 13 assist to Catalan Power and Simon Bolivar Odom.

Our bogeyman, Bynum is injured yet made 13 pts. the score at the end 12 pts. difference. Those are the little things that meant a lot when the Lakers of 2010 are scoring compared to the Lakers of 2007 just flat footed.

Two words for you, justa:
ME TOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Cheers.

humanomaly, yeah, I think I prefer Celtics than Magic, coz it would give Bryant,Pau,Lamar,Drew and the rest of the gang a more zest and desire not just to defend the title but to get a revenge. It would be an interesting match up and I think the Lakers are ready for it....

Fisher =(

Glad PJ had some courage in the 4th qtr leaving JF in and allowing the Lakers to break it open like a Brazilian Blur.

Lakers made Nash, Hill, and Dudley look like superstars.

Toughen up, or these fools might peel off a game or two

Come on man, does anyone really think the Lakers will be able to score so easily against the Celtics like they do against the Suns?

These victories are pure fool's gold.

The troubling aspect of it all is that the Lakers are acting like, Oh, yeah! We're good! We're good! They're playing right along with the Suns brand of ball. Lets do it baby!

What will they do when the lane is shut down and their are no wide open players near the rim?

Celtics in 6.

mike t.

Finally home! I was following the game on my cellphone, and i was a little nervous when the Funs were closing the gap. But i was confident of our beloved team. I'm worried that they can continue their relaxing on phoenix, and that's why i think we can win in 6. But i also think we can win in 4, IF they continue focused.
Let's just crush 'em.
GO LAKERS!!!

Michael C. Teniente,

"These victories are pure fool's gold."

Predictable as always.

If you're a man, you'll apologize when we win the Championship this year.

Are you a man?

What do we play for? RINGS!!!

Lakers Today... Lakers Tomorrow... Lakers Forever.

GO LAKERS!!!

appolo,
Actually I don't prefer the Celtics, but I think it's going to be the Celtics. I'd prefer the Magic....an easier opponent. I know that is being a wuss, but the Celtics are dangerous because I think Stern prefers East teams.......the Celtics play rough and get away with it, the Lakers can't just walk into the finals against them and play rough, because it's not their style, the refs will need 2 whistles because they'll wear one out. They talked about being a tougher team, and they are but only by a little...and Artest is not one of the Ref's favorites....

I need a laugh, I think I'll see if the Paula/wheelchair thing is on You Tube....would go well with the "Rocky" theme!!!!!

EVERYBODY PANIC!

No, not because of the game result, although i say there was about as much reason for panic all the other times i said 'everybody panic!' I'm just saying I told y'all so.

NO, REALLY EVERYBODY PANIC!

My monitor just up and kerflzzzted last night. I rushed it to the emergency room (ok, i just swapped out all the cords, changed pcs, and punched it a few times) but i think it is ready for it's last rites. Viewing (HA!) was today, and the service will be held at the 'new big shiny tv' section of Best Buy after I get my next paycheck.

[stands solemnly as 'Taps" is played]

anyway, that's why i wasn't at the game chat, and we I am now squinting to see what I am typing on the 1998 Dell Crapovision VGA 3 1/2" monitor I took from my parents spare room.

we had such great times together...I think the record for that monitor makes Jon K's lucky barstool look like the clippers floor from staples...anyway

'Did you every know that you were my heroooo...you were everything a monitor should be.....I could watch everything in HD...cause you had the 23" 1080 dpi screen..."

[breaks down crying]

you know what for the trolls they do not care what our team achieves, win or loose they will say bad about it..even the lakers walk on water they will say " Hey these idiots do not know how to swim".....

the side kick of irrelevance is also reporting...oh life is never without problems. You can't have a peaceful moments of rejoice, someone will always ruin the perfect sunshine, the perfect landscape we just have to live with it.

or to paraphrase what Dizzy Dean once said about the death of the Pope 'well, that sort of thing can put a damper on even a Lakers win'

It's over.

If Phoenix wants to be a pain they'll win game three, but otherwise it's over.

I hate to be that guy, but I am.

WHEN we play the Septics, this will literally be the most emotionally charged Finals series of my life.

It's all or nothing. I'm betting that it's all.

What do we play for? RINGS!!!

Lakers Today... Lakers Tomorrow... Lakers Forever.

GO LAKERS!!!

Mike T,

you wrote: Come on man, does anyone really think the Lakers will be able to score so easily against the Celtics like they do against the Suns?

Celtics in 6.

my response:

1st question for you. You do know they're not the Celtics, right?

2nd question for you. Do you want them to win?

3rd question for you. If you don't have KG on your team & Bynum is
hurt, but you do have Pau on your team & you do have Lamar ... how do
you play?

4th question for you. In 2008, we lost 4-2. What does Artest bring to the
match-up?

KOBE WAS GREAT..SIMPLY AWESOME!!
CLAP CLAP CLAP Kobe!! Great game from Kobe and I hope he continues to play in the "zero" mode.

Fatty:

You wrote and asked: I'm extremely happy with the wins, but can we play better D?

Response:

I am having lunch with Phil Jackson tomorrow, followed by pep talk to Laker teams at 1PM tomorrow. I will bring up the D topic with the team.. don't worry your little head..

1st question for you. You do know they're not the Celtics, right?

Do I know who are not the Celtics?

2nd question for you. Do you want them to win?

Want who to win?

3rd question for you. If you don't have KG on your team & Bynum is
hurt, but you do have Pau on your team & you do have Lamar ... how do
you play?

Irrelevant question because the Celtics do have KG. Bynum is hurt. I really don't understand the point of this question.

4th question for you. In 2008, we lost 4-2. What does Artest bring to the
match-up?

The game is won and lost down low. As good of a defender that Artest is, he has nothing to do with Perkins/Bynum and Garnett/Gasol. Plus throw in Wallace, too.

Plus for Artest the emergence of Rondo kind of offsets that impact.

mike t.

"The lucky barstool is now 92-18." Jon, the barstool should go into coaching!

Edwin, Perkin's calves are fool's gold, haha.

lakerfan, you have a wrong perception of Kobe. It is the hero persona that leads to zero mode. When Suns see Kobe, they see danger double teaming comes in that frees Gasol and LO in the low post or Fisher and Artest in the perimeter. Without Kobe as a hero, Lakers will have a hard time penetrating the Suns.

hobbitmage,

Dude, you have no idea how to interact with the remarkable Mike T.

I say that with minimal sarcasm.

Michael C. Teniente is a brilliant man who has such an incredibly over-inflated ego that it turns everything he says into comedy. He also (not unlike myself) thrives off conflict.

Ergo, trying to find why he creates conflict is like asking a fish why he swims.

You are presently dealing with Reggie the Alligator and you are asking him why he likes being in the desert.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reggie_(alligator)

Move on.

What do we play for? RINGS!!!

Lakers Today... Lakers Tomorrow... Lakers Forever.

GO LAKERS!!!

dave m, I have to say goodnight now, the debaters are here. I am poofed, sleepy after a long day. We won so let hobbitmage and others take care of our friendly trolls.

DFish...

Your irrational condemnation of Derek Fisher is bordering on the psychotic. Get a grip.

These victories are the same as the Magic's victories over the Bobcats and the Hawks.

Those teams did have the personal to match the Magic and so the Magic cruised.

Then the Magic ran into the Celtics who are overmatching the Magic and look what's happening.

The Lakers are playing the Jazz and Suns. It's like the Magic playing the Bobcats and the Hawks. The Jazz and Suns just can't match up with the Lakers.

Next the Lakers play the Celtics who do match up in every position with the Lakers. What do you think is going to happen? Go ask the Magic.

mike t.

oh yeah, I think that I am ready to declare Pau Gasol the best offensive Center in the league right now, and I think that he has a very real chance to establish himself the best overall big man in the nba if we win the title this year. Sure, this has as much to do with how utterly crappy Dwight Howard his been on offense, but a very real chance.

I remember a wise man said these words " Do not argue with a fool, for he is a fool or else he will drag you to his level"..be wise man....

humananomaly....yeah the Celtics are a very dangerous team and they have one of the best actress in the NBA ( Paula), he deserves an Oscar award...they played great defense but I think the Lakers can handle that.....Go Lakers...

"Come on man, does anyone really think the Lakers will be able to score so easily against the Celtics like they do against the Suns?"

No, actually I don't think anyone does think that, so why ask the question?
Is this what they call a "straw man argument?" I don't remember anyone ever making this claim but you're writing as if someone had.

So what's your point?

Michael,

It goes both ways. The Celtics won't find it easy to score in the lane against us as well. Your perspective seems to very one sided and I don't hear a hint of overconfidence in any of the Lakers interviews as you stated. I've given the Celtics plenty of props and credit for their defense in wins against the Cavs and Magic thus far. However, I've watched the games very closely and even the Celtics have shortcomings both offensively and defensively as does every team. I agree with Stan Van Gundy when he said in his post game press conference that the Celtics play great defense, but that the Magic also took bad shots and didn't move the ball effectively and had very little player movement.

After losing both regular season games and the finals to the Celtics in 08, the Lakers are 3-1 against the Celtics over the past two years. One reason is that Bynum's presence, size and length alongside Pau DOES make a difference no matter how you slice it. Bynum may also have a bigger impact in a series against the slower, plodding Celtics than against the run and gun Suns. Ron Artest/Paul Pierce should be a great matchup and unlike 08, LO will be coming off the bench and I don't think that either Glen Davis or Sheed can check him.

Finally, both teams have changed since 08, with each winning a title and tweaking their rosters. Although I loathe the Celtics, I respect them because they are a formidable and proven foe, but I believe these Lakers are going to repeat this year and next to give PJ his fourth 3peat and Kobe's 6th ring to tie MJ.

The Little Lieutenant posts the same drivel as last year and the year before, rehashing his "fool's gold" nonsense.

Words like fireflies,
They fade away by morning.

Go Lake Show!

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

Nemaia,

the lil lieutenant has taken a page from TJ Simers. He just wants attention. Ignore him.
He will write negative things about the Lakers just like DFish just to draw attention. These guys don't have a life. Cant find a girl. This is the best they can do.

the celtics look good now but they're missing eddie house and posey who were the real difference makers in the '08 series. Rondo is much better now but we've got Bynum (although injured, can still contribute some), Artest and home court.

It will probably come down to how the games are officiated. If they allow a lot of ruff play, it favors the celtics but I still think the lakers can prevail under those circumstances.

A win over boston would in my view put Kobe as the greatest Laker. It would also cement Phil Jackson as the greatest coach by winning one in the house Red built.

To face the orlando magic in the finals would be anti-climactic win or lose.

The Lakers beat a better Magic team last year 4-1. Hedo was a better fit than Vince Carter and presented matchup problems because of his size, passing skills, ability to run pick and roll effectively and penetrate the lane.

If anything, Paul Pierce who tweeted "bring out the brooms..."after last night's win revealed once again that he has very little class and sportsmanship.

ok, I'm sorry. I forgot you guys are still reveling in the outstanding win against the Suns.

Revel away....

:)

mike t.

Nemaia Faletogo,

your post to Mike T was excellent.

Mike T,

you wrote: 3rd question for you. If you don't have KG on your team & Bynum is
hurt, but you do have Pau on your team & you do have Lamar ... how do
you play?

Irrelevant question because the Celtics do have KG. Bynum is hurt. I really don't understand the point of this question.

my response: Actually, no. It's not an irrelevant question. Allow me to
clarify. The way you present your arguments ... there is no reason for the
Lakers to play the game. They can't win. Why try. With some respect,
that's crap! You play the hand you're dealt!

The Lakers don't have KG on the team. Asking Pau to be KG won't work
because he's not. To state this a different way ... The 3 best centers in the
NBA were Wilt, Kareem & Russell. They're playing styles were different,
but they still got the job done.

So. Instead of the Lakers playing like Boston when we don't have Boston's
attributes, how can we play and win with what we have?

To re-state Mr. Faletogo, this isn't 2008. This Lakers team is different.

1. We've been through the fire and gotten burned.
2. We went back and won.
3. We have a bigger C Bynum, who wasn't available last time.
4. Artest is as strong as Glen Davis. Actually, I think they're about the same
size.
5. Our bench is more athletic than it was in 2008 with the addition of LO &
Shannon Brown.
6. We have home court advantage.

Yes, the Celtics have picked up Rasheed. Yes, the Celtics have lost Posey.
Yes, the Lakers have home court advantage. Yes, I agree that the C/PF
rotation will have a large bearing on who wins the series.

The Lakers sure played well tonight, especially on offense. They have such an overwhelming talent advantage on the offensive end, and they ran the offense in a way that fully exploited that advantage. They showed very little of the selfishness that too often marred their effort during the regular season. It was great to see Kobe keep his ego in check for most of the game, and be content to rack up the assists, especially with Pau.

How great would it be to see this kind of play on a consistent basis during the regular season! It's so much more fun to watch, at least for me.

As well as Phoenix plays on offense, the Suns are even worse on defense. Little effort, and no clue. It's hard to imagine anyone wanting Stoudemire on their team after his performance in the two games so far.

Lakers defense? Mostly a very strong, disciplined effort. The one thing I don't understand: Still too much of Kobe not playing his own man, for no apparent reason, and certainly to no benefit of the defense.

Boston, though, will be another story. They're serious about defense, they're healthy, they match up well against the Lakers (unlike most other teams in the league), and they're relatively disciplined on offense. The Lakers will have to play their best to beat them, and it will be a great victory if they do.

@icelaker.. good pt bout posey and house.. they even had powe who torched us for 21 with luke on him (still have nightmares about that game).. celtics bench was WAY better in 08 and just 7-8 deep this year... posey defensive stopper and house 3 pt killer... now they got rasheed but only allen to back him.. rest are chumps... baby davis sucks.. marquis daniels no PT..

@nemaia.. agree.. hedo was their glue.. their best playmaker. offense ran through him 90% of the time.. he was mr clutch.. vince well...

ur tellin me mr nash was a 2x mvp... wow.. hes makin dfish look like 1st team all defense.

dfish gettin cocky again.. his play got a little too cute today.. a little on the wild side.. took some bad shots and drove the lane recklessly.. maybe he was rebelling a bit knowing we got the game in control.. that will be inexcusable against boston.

what no luke again? lakers are firing on all cylinders and luke is not participating? who wouldve thunk it??

WTF phil?? you must want this ring like really bad this year.. no nonsense approach.. no playin games... just go for the kill.. PHIL IS IN A ZONE...

artest another offensive gem... phoenix is givin you luke walton treatment at the 3pt line.. showin u no respect.. keep makin them pay.. even phil givin you the green light.

No Laker fan thinks that the Lakers will score like this against Boston.

Someone is just trying to get a rise out some people who can't help but
respond to some ridiculous comments like that.
Boston's defense will be a great challenge for the Lakers to decipher.
But even Ray Charles sees that the Lakers have more offensive options than either Cleveland or Orlando has.

my response: Actually, no. It's not an irrelevant question. Allow me to
clarify. The way you present your arguments ... there is no reason for the
Lakers to play the game. They can't win. Why try. With some respect,
that's crap! You play the hand you're dealt!

Laker fan-

LOL ... You wanna talk about crap? Have you forgotten how much smack you talked all yr? You told me all year about how old the Celtics are and they would all be hurt by the time the playoffs started. Then we wouldnt get by Miami. Then we wouldnt beat Cleveland. Then we would definately not beat Orlando. I started to believe you. I mean, If Laker fan sez it ... it must be true.

If you dont believe me, just go back and read any thread. Your smack is available for your reading pleasure.

The Celtics had their title, I believe that this year is the year of Kobe Bryant.

Kobe passes Shaq in titles
Kobe ties Magic in titles
Kobe within 1 title of MJ
