Caliphilosopher,

you wrote: I do remember those ridiculous comparisons. I just kinda laughed those off. I hope you're having a good start to your week so far (besides the lakers losing, that is).

my response: Eh. The week goes. How's your week going?

re: Ricky. He's just like Pau. He doesn't take responsibility for the negative.

MM,

So about Ricky's comments ... is there a line? Can you tell us what it is?

HAHAHAHAHAHA:

TRYING TO figure out the ages of the bloggers here.

Where are the real bloggers LakerTom, Edwin, Mike T., Jon K?

I refuse to speak in Spanish in fear so I carry my passport all the time

I hope you find your ass. I think they're really important in the grand scheme of things.

Why all the bad language? You are supposed to be a classy laker fan!

BTW ... Id reply to your post if I knew what it meant! Hint ... If you wrote it in English ... it would really help!

"Because Kobe needed Shaq to win those titles. Shaq is a winner. Terry Porter didn't know how to use him. Thats why he's gone."

Too bad he couldn't "help" you win titles. At least Kobe won with him.

Ths Suns fans acknowledge you guys won alot of Championships..albeit bought or not.
But why live in the past. Thats' always the Laker Land thing.....
"But we won X amount of titles."

This is about "NOW" and "NOW" has the Lakers in trouble. Even with 2 games at home.....you guys have to be squeeming in your chairs right now. How does it feel?

@JUSTA, Oh and seriously, Thank You for having my back.

How does it feel? Ask that Saturday when your @zz is eliminated.

Really guys, Pau Gasol take his responsability, but "this responsability" is guard 2 bigs alone game after game after game . His responsabilty is guard 4 bigs in the finals game after game after game........... and if he cant, Pau Gasol for the Lakers community, is GASOFT........ ?????? That is my question for everybody here.

Celtics has better team: 4 bigs vs. 1 big (Pau, Bynum cant play b/c injuries) , 1 real point-guard vs Fisher that he is a shooting guard, 2 PF (Davis and Pierce) vs. 1 PF (Odom) and finally, a much more better bench.

Where is the lunatic thinking?????? That is the reallity, the real world.

@JUSTA, Oh and seriously, Thank You for having my back.

Larry - that's what I'm here for. Always.

Lakers can beat Suns, for sure, i dont Know, but he cant beat Celtics. We are in the seame situation 2 years early. Celtics have more depth. Better Team. Period. Pau Gasol can guard in defense Garnett (what matchup¡¡) and will be guard for Perkins (bufffff). While Garnett and Perkins resting, Davis or Wallace. Lakers have NO CHANCE.

Mamba, my greatest gift to man was the gift of free will. Unfortunately for us Laker fans (and yes, I'm a fan) this means that Pau has the freedom to choose to play soft, and Lamar can choose to be an enigma. Don't mistake my observations of Phil's poor coaching job in games 3 and 4 for abandonment of my support for the purple & gold. Just calling it as I see it, and I saw a team last night that attacked the game 4 zone defense pretty much the same way it attacked the game 3 zone defense. With similar results. Moreover, I didn't see any DEFENSIVE adjustments by the Lakers, which is the real problem.

Noah, my friend, it saddens me to see you so frustrated. If you promise to step up the tithing, I promise to make it all better.

It feels great, actually, because we're not worried. :-)

131 - You're awesome. :-) Smack talk is like, one of my favorite things ever! Truthfully, I love your team's hustle and grit. I even admire some of their players on a purely basketball level. But - I gotta hate your fans and players, including you. Not personally, just in general. Keep up the smack talk and so will I, and it will be grand.

"The Suns have been to the FINALS TWICE!! 1976-1993"

Hmmm

1976-1993 = 17 yrs

1993-2010 = 17 yrs

do do do do

But - I gotta hate your fans and players, including you. Not personally, just in general. Keep up the smack talk and so will I, and it will be grand.

I understand. I dont take it personally ... thats why I keep coming back for more.

Regarding the smack talk ... Ill do my best.

re: Pau & his responsibility.

The starting C of the Lakers, the gimpy one, Bynum had 4 offensive
rebounds.

The PF who came off the bench, LO, had 4 offensive rebounds.

The starting PF who plays 2nd string C had 2 offensive rebounds.

The starting SG had more total rebounds than the starting PF who also
played 2nd string C.

Part of the job of the PF/C position is to grab rebounds. No .... Pau did not
do his job last night. No .... Pau did not take responsibility for his defense
in the video clip.

Perhaps, in Europe, they don't believe in playing defense just like they don't
believe in being physical? I'm just sayin'

Response: It is actually the reverse, remember Shaq had Penny Hardway and did not win a title until he teamed up with Kobe.

of course there are many tangibles but it is no longer important and we have Phoenis Suns to deal with.

RICKY:

Welcome back my Spaniard amigo from across the pond....Once again thank you for sharing great insight and your astute observations. Your English is brilliant and hope both Justa and Noah would learn to write from you and also soak your brilliance when it comes to BB knowledge. I read all of your posts, one by one and learned a lot.

Please continue to post .

Hey Santos, thanks for all, but i know me english is absolutly pathetic, PATHETIC, but thanks bro.

Jesus Santos -

If you won't speak out loud, can I at least pretend you're speaking in a Spanish accent? ;)

Remember how exhausted the Celtics were Monday night? They lost, but at least fought hard. Kobe's the only Laker who broke a sweat last night. Pathetic. Bynum and Odom are useless.

I must say the zone D, is frustrating, mainly because as highly paid NBA players, you should have to man up and play defense, I understand its apart of the game, but I hate it, in rec ball, in school ball, in high school ball, in college, I hate it, it takes away the point of bball, if you get beat off the dribble, try again. PHX really thinks it has done something by using this, it is maddening! when they palyed us head up, they get smoked, it is girly ball, and i wanna punch gentry in the face with all them "oks" he looks like a straight Dwight from housewives, anyway! LA just needs to play D, we are scoring more than our season avg. so Offense isnt the issue, and NEXT YR. we need to get younger at PG, and get rid of the dead weight. I.E. sasha, jordan, luke. and Bynum, 12.5 mill. for injuries is too much, bring on Bosh. or someone and lets get 3 more rings. LA in 6, and Seven

What in the heck is going on with the personal attacks??? One of the reasons why I usually don't participate in online discussions is precisely because of this. The 'adults' commenting on this topic need to completely ignore these immature dudes who think that they are at a school yard court. Listen, if you can't have an 'intelligent' discussion (minus the street-corner BS)... What's the point???

what a screwed up website! I am a Laker fan every since Dr. J left the NBA. But I cannot see the Lakers winning unless Odum comes alive Unless the Lakeers get rid of some of that fumblitis that lets them get out boarded. One more thing that is not being said. The Lakeers aree being cheated by the refs! Pau Gasol was being assaulted when he ggot the ball and theere were no calls. If the Lakers got close to a 'Sun" there was a call. I need to see dominating defense and the ability to sustain a lead. the latter was not shown in either series. These things will catch up to you sooner or later. I would have prefered next year. The lakers also have to stop the point guard from waltzing into the lane and keep Amari out of his comfort zone. Amari alway drives right or shoots below the free throw line. How hard is that to stop?
