MM - you really need to end the chat a little less abruptly LOL! We all like to say bye and stuff..... A couple of minutes wouldn't kill you would it?? OR - like I said before - get your own intern! Seriously - thanks for being here. Looking forward to the follow up....

So, we lost.
Lost to a very focused team, which played hard and consistently in every field, in every player.
After way too many defensive mistakes and quite a few (well, a numbers) of offensive mistakes.
No Laker was in tune tonight.
No bench guys stepped in.
Am I worried?
No way.
Would I wish Kobe could rest? TOTALLY.
But how can he rest, or avoid to take lots of shot, when like today it's clear from teh start none is there to be consistent and give it out all he has to give?
I don't blame Kobe for tonight at all. At all. He did his complete thing. Nobody was around him.
Good smack in the face, my sweet beloved Lakers. Now run in to Portland and let's try to make history there.
BTW, I saw the Celtics OT and final half tonight prior to the Lakers game. They're good.
But nay, they're not us still.
It's more canoodling time for me. When Lakers lose, Karim and I have our ways to... console one another.
Have all a great day.
Don't be too bitter for this off game: at least we lost for LA still. We will bounce back straight.
We are still tired and when bench doesn't show, we just can't always hope in a Kobe miracle. Sometimes he just does his thing. And still light years better than any of the surrounding cast. (Pau, miss you badly...)

I am getting really frustrated. League is giving us 2 to 3 more home games playing with our weak hometown Basketball team, and we blow it. I do not get it, how this is possible, a weak team such as Clippers come and beat us while we think we are the best team ever in NBA! This is unacceptable. Fire the head coach. His time has past, and we need somebody with fresh ideas and tactics who is not afraid of the players!

Did we get Taco'd by the Clips? This had trap game written all over it. B. Davis can really play,so forget about this game and move on.

10-30?
Pecking order indeed.

Poor effort by Lakers again. Sasha big disapointment. Does not make enough of an effort to shoot or hesitates when open. Except for SB bench performs poorly forcing Kobe to take 10 more shots than he should have with a broken finger! Lakers should consider themselves 3 games behind Cavs & Celtics who have played about ten more road games than lakers and against tougher teams. Go Lakers you need home court advantage to beat either Celtics or Cavs in a 7 game series. They are playing far superior defense at the moment!

The SUNS appreciate LA softening up Houston last night, those guys are pesky.
Clips made the home team look out of it tonight.

POST GAME COMMENTS:
-- what an inexcusable pathetic loss to an inferior team... i really sincerely hope all of laker nation witnessed another dfish massacre tonite by the opposing point guard courtesy of our great phillip
-- DFISH PLEASE RETIRE... yes one player can and did change the whole complexity of the game entirely by himself.. what else is there to say except dfish gave up yet another season high to another opposing pg guard.. he was thoroughly dominated by baron who got everything and anything he wanted offensively.. lakers were actually fortunate game didnt get away in 3rd and were only down by 10 pts for most of that quarter... then after 8 LONG AND EXCRUTIATING MINUTES OF COMPLETE BARON DOMINATION phillip finally comes to his senses and decides to bench dfish.. shannon then checks in and coincidentally lakers go on a run and cut deficit down to only 4 pts all in a span of less than 2 minutes.
again if this game isnt enough evidence to prove that DFISH is clearly a liability and no longer deserves the starting position than i dont know what is..
-- PHILLIP OUTCOACHED AGAIN... i think this is the first time all season dunleavy actually outcoached someone this year and stuck with the right matchups and didnt make bonehead substitutions.. and what do you know all thanks to phillip.
-- SASHA.. WTF was he doing in the game during crucial minutes in the 4th.. game was still well within reach until sasha checked in and he didnt contribute a damn thing the entire time except get burnt on defense and miss another wide open shot.. when will anyone realize this guy belongs in the d-league and lakers dont have to luxury to keep giving him key minutes just waiting all year for him to get his shot back..
-- FARMAR.. only 13 minutes?? yes he was out of control for most of the game but still an upgrade over dfish and deserves more PT.

When Baron Davis is on, he looks like Magic Johnson-lite. Good for the rest of the league that the guy is inconsistent.
As a former athlete, I have trouble having empathy for players that don't bring it every night. I mean, seriously? I still have dreams of playing competitive sports. Why not bring it every night? What else would they rather be doing? Playing video games? It makes no sense to me.

the NBA has a dirty little secret...the Clips have the talent to be a top 3 team in the WC...
that said, the Lakers continue to have a glaring weakness in that their guards simply cannot penetrate into the lane and are unable to defend opposing guards who can.
