Lakers at Bulls- Live game chat

UPDATE: POSTGAME CHAT IS LIVE!!!

There are no gimmies in the NBA... but there shouldn't be giveaways, either. A solid defensive effort against a team struggling to score points- Lord knows the Bulls qualify in that regard- should get the Lakers back on the winning side of the ledger.

Geez what a ballhog.

:)

sit derek fisher. he is a veteran; i don't want to discredit him but he negates the over all performance of the team.

sit derek fisher now.

We won.

It was just a game that we had to win and we did,, mainly due to Kobe's efforts as shoter.

Overhall a game with dis-homogenic efforts.

Pau just rebounded (16) and Artest started to be efficacious on a roll just at times.

WE had I think a good effort from the bench instead. Just when we needed.

I also appreciated Bynum scores in the fourth quarter when we needed them mostly, to pay the Bulls and cutting their hopes.
I didn't appreciated his lack of effort in rebounds and defense. Just a little more from him on that side could have free Pau more and let him more focused and bright minded to actually provide a better built up of our game, which he didn't provide tonight, all mugged by a very consistent and multi layered effort taken by our opponents, efforts which left him alone fighting too many and causing him a progressive blending of drive and attention. Even so, he double doubled. Not bad in a not perfect night.

The team mechanism didn't work smooth tonight in any phase I have to say. Nor defensively, nor offensively. We had Kobe though: and being Kobe KOBE, this is a guarantee.

We won.
I don't care what Bulls and Celts did when they met. This is not a mathematical formula: no translating proposition from factors to factors: everybody who has played basketball knows how failible is that way to look at things.

We never were in danger of losing this game, seriously. And that counts more than anything else.

On the unbright side, Artest played 45 minutes and both Kobe and Pau overplayed 40 each.

Tomorrow will show us if this will affect them (don't think so, personally).
Have all a great evening: it's 4 and 30 am and need to sleep a bit. And also to avoid to think at certain Caps Lover in the chat who REALLY annoyed me a lot tonight. And not only me allegedly.

Laker Land: be confident. You gotta have faith in those you love, and they will repay your love.

Yeah.

Bynum, 3 whole rebounds! Yeah, All-Star? If he were mean, instead of always green, he'd be a beast!

Is their really a question about who's the best NBA player, perhaps ever? I mean, just after illness and with a broken index finger on HIS SHOOTING HAND, torches the Bulls for 42!! Enjoy him for the next 9 years (I hope, at least) my friends! LeBron? Give me a break!
