Once again, Phil Jackson does the predictable thing and starts Kobe Bryant. Who says he's some sort of maverick?

i'm so happy that our 3rd option, kobe "bean" bryant is a pretty good player. hope he makes the all star team beside bynum and gasol.
we need to have the best record so phil jackson can lobby on his behalf. the tough part is that LakerTom and nemaia will vote against it.

Aww come on oucchhh...Kobe took so much ill advised shot Bynum should have scored 40 points and freaking Lamar had to get 8 rebounds so Bynum could had a Chamberlain like 20 rebounds per game! Shame on Kobe he's good but he's not above criticism because Bynim didn't get 40 points! Bench Kobe he's a ball hog he should be giving THE BEAST those 29 shots should have went to Bynum.....shame on him!
(Hehe JK) :).
In a more serious note yes I'm glad Kobe shut up those doubters who believed it was Bynum's time to lead the Lakers and put Kobe as the 2nd or 3rd option kind of thing. There is a reason why is the BEST and the BEST always beats a BEAST.
Hey LakerMike: Where are all the Bryant Bashers now? And look Kobe isn't averaging 8apg like you would like him to! 29 shots no less.
Glad Pau is coming back the true 2nd option will make his season debut soon and well the Lakers will be a much better team. No offense to Bynum as he did another solid effort but I'd like to see him try that circus shot before I even consider him to have Kobe's mentality or greatness.
Don't be too hard on Nem though oucchh. Nem is actually pretty decent about being deep on the Bynum Bandwagon. I like he's more than willing to agree to disagree with me in a nice way.

Congrats, Kobe, on your 100th 40-point game. Lakerville sure needed that win!

What's with the boo birds and Kwame?
Sure, a lot of people were disappointed with his results and probably effort too, while he was a Laker, but he's a nice guy who only wishes the Lakers and his bud Drew well. I wouldn't have been one of those booing if I was at Staples.
Great job by KB.
At the beginning, I thought he s/d adjust his game and be more of a facilitator if his groin was bothering him. Apparently, once the ol groin is warmed up, the shooting touch returns.
Apparently, nothing is going to return Sasharapova's shooting stroke. Perhaps his groin is getting worked out too much.
