Isn't it nice to see gold teeth garnett fall off so hard?

Ah.... it's blissful.

HERE COMES THE CRAB KING…

Cavs without Zydrunas Ilgauskas beat Boston 98-83 with LeBron posting 38 points while shooting over 50% from the field, 40% from 3-point land, and 100% (9-9) from the line, plus 7 boards, 6 dimes, 4 steals, and 3 blocks, with only 3 turnovers and 2 fouls. Wow!

I can see the seismic shift occurring already. The King is ready to ascend to the throne and the unlucky Celtics will be limited to a lone championship while the cocky Lakers will have to wait until next year or until Andrew Bynum becomes the Beast. And Kobe will opt out to somehow go to New York with the King to rule pro basketball from its Mecca.

Hail to the King! Hail to the King! It makes me want to puke. I cannot wait until Jan 19th when we can send the Crab King and his motley crew on the same downward spiral that we sent the Celtics on Christmas Day. They are just catching the Celtics still floundering from the Shamrock Kryptonite that the Lakers left in their stockings on Christmas day.

Excuse me, but a team starting Mo Williams, Delonte West. Ben Wallace (or Zydrunas Ilgauskas) with a bench featuring J.J. Hickson, Daniel Gibson, Wally Szczerbiak, and Lorenzen Wright is not going to match up with the Lakers even if it has Michael Jordan, much less the unproven LeBronze James (that one was for you, blitz. Hehe).

As always, JMNSHBO! Let’s crush us some Pacers.

Tom

68-66 at the half...

If Defence wins championships...we better not keep playing like this...how many back door lay ups and wide open shots have we given them?

Good thing we're making ours...Pau in particular is being aggressive...thought Josh Powell did well in the first half also...

Trevor needs to calm down on Granger...play in front and not gamble...but Granger sure looks good...

One last thing...NO MORE CELEBRITY INTERVIEWS WHEN THE GAME IS ON...I didn't turn on the Lakers to hear some "B" list actor pimp his next flop...

Consistent defense is imperative.

Consistent defense will propel us to greatness.

We did not play consistent in any shape of form tonight...but we won!

Go Lakers! I'll take the win. Vintage Kobe!

vlad almost cost us the game when he left dunleavy for the 3pt shot that tied at 119...he's so stupid...and he even directed sasha to scramble and cover dunleavy...

stupid Vlad...

Altough I am obviously glad that we won the game, our effort today was absolutely ridicolous!!!How can this sorry ass Pacers team take us to the last second? How can we let them outscore us by ten in the 4th quarter?
The team playing the best bsketball in the Nba right now is Cleveland, followed by us and Orlando. We have got to improve.Good thing is that we have a lot of time left.Go Lakers!!!!

that was Foster's kharma because of the brawl he started with no technical

The last shot of Foster in Grand Canyon was priceless.

Is it just me or are we developing a very small (very small) regular season rivalry with the Pacers? Two close games, a few technicals. At least we're the Lakers so there won't ever really be real competition.

It's a blessing, Boston KEEPS losing.

GO LAKERS

Looks like the fourth quarter was little rough. Didn't watch the game, and I'm glad for it.

Next . . .

It was blissful, Tim-4-show!!!

I loved it even more than watching our squeaker game. It's always great when we win (although I have multiple complaints about play) but seeing Boston lose so badly? It was like a dream come true.

The true height of my night though was hearing the Cleveland fans yelling "PAUL PIERCE SUCKS! PAUL PIERCE SUCKS!!!" Oh yes. So sweet. Blissful.

And what about Staples getting a fire in their belly and yelling "PACERS SUCK! PACERS SUCK!" That is unusual for a team like that! Granger was so pissed off. If looks could kill, everyone would have been dead on that foul out. They could be a really good team with their pieces. Makes me wonder...

In the meantime I have and always will sing:

I LOVE LA!!!!!
WE LOVE IT!!!!!!
GO LAKERS!!!!!!!!

YES!!! Darius Miles has re-signed with Memphis!

Greetings Fellow Lakeshow Fans,

Whew! TIGHT win vs Indiana 121-119...Leaky defense the culprit AGAIN...The bench sure looks THIN right now...Radmanovic a NO SHOW in this one...Veterans KB24 and Fish played WAY TOO MANY MINUTES...They had NO CHOICE given the blown lead of 12 after 3 quarters...We sure could use another body, especially a PG...Good effort by Powell though. We REALLY missed LO's athleticism, length, and defense in this one, especially on Granger/Murphy.

I must say, Murphy and Dunleavy were sure a handful for Laker defenders in the 4th quarter...Once again, our Lakers MUST make pressure FT's when given the opportunity...Phil is certainly not happy with their effort as a whole tonight.

Considering ALL that went on during this game, our Lakers still WON! Compared to what the rival Celtics are going through at this time, ANY win is NICE!

Folks, still a LONG way to go! However, I would LOVE to see a bit more D in the coming weeks in preparation for the stretch run that is quickly approaching before our very own eyes. FOCUS is the name of the game.

Let's see what our Lakers can do with FOCUS in mind vs Miami on Sunday as well as Houston and San Antonio on the road. Should be INTERESTING...

Laker pride through ADVERSITY!

Kobe was insane tonight. He was incredible. People say LBJ is better than Kobe, and I can't agree. The clutchness, people. Kobe is the best at making that shot. LBJ hasn't earned that yet. Clutchness. Pure and simple.

WARNING! WARNING!

Kobe - 41 min
Pau - 41 min
Dfish - 41 min

This Laker engine will overheat...

WARNING! WARNING!

Hells yeah we pulled it out! Man that would have SUCKED to lose two in a row like that to the same team. Cleveland looks mighty mighty fine though. Absolutely destroyed the hapless C's for 48 tonight. Just manhandled them. I would put money on them right now to come outta the east.

>>>YES!!! Darius Miles has re-signed with Memphis!

Of course he has. Memphis has the most cap space next
summer, and thus has the most to gain from knocking Portland
out of the free agent market next summer.

If they play Miles 2 games, that knocks 1 competitor out for any
big-ticket free agents who come out this summer.

>>>vlad almost cost us the game when he left dunleavy
>>> for the 3pt shot that tied at 119...he's so stupid...and
>>> he even directed sasha to scramble and cover dunleavy.

And he also didn't help the cause when the Lakers only have
a 3 point lead and the game is almost over and he get's a technichal
foul for wrestling with Jeff Foster.

He also hit a few big shots, and got a steal in the fourth that
was nice.

The problem is, that's just standard operating procedure for
Vlad. PJ didn't call him a space cadet for nothing... the guy
has no basketball IQ whatsoever.

Well, everyone is beating up on the Celtics right now..The Lakers started it, everyone else is just piggybacking..........

The true test is to beat them on their homecourt where they get all the calls, the fickle crowd screaming, and KG starts grunting, and growling and Paul Peirce is throwing up Gang signs and this and that, that's when I will say there is a shift in the powers..Until then, the Celtics are still the team..The Cavs are making a strong case for themselves as the Lakers and some other teams..The season is still a ways to go and injuries happen, when you least expect them so we have to continue to hope our main guys stay healthy and the ones who are injured can rejoin us so we can stay strong..

GO LAKERS...

FIRE RADMANOVIC

FIRE SASHA

We are much bettter off defensively without either of them.

Vlad's and Sasha's D are the responsibilities of the assistant coaches like Kurt, Brian and Jim, that's very reason why there are there? Both of them contributed 8 pts. and may have done some failed assignments in the 4th but were also responsible in getting back the Lakers lead in the 3rd through their helter-skelter D.

To accuse them of no BBIQ how about the best passer and best IQ who is currently lame, has he produced 8 pts lately?
