Pau Gasol out tonight against Knicks
Something about "refusing to suit up again until he's traded back to Memphis." Or he's got strep throat. It's definitely one or the other.
Pretty sure Lamar Odom is starting tonight in his place, but that's not iron clad news.
More info as it arrives...

I hope he's ok, looks like this game may be closer than we thought.
Look to see Kobe coming out of his schooting slump, I think he's going to have a great night. He's due.
Go LAKERS!
Let's keep them under 100. Tacos = Happy Fans

Eric M,
yeah we are hovering around 5 to 0 as a low the other day---it's a little cold now in the teens we have about 5 inches of snow or so---so not nostril hair freezing but getting there...
mamba24,
did you revoke my drivers license on the I hate Boston bandwagon?
hope we play well tonight especially without Pau...
GO LAKERS !!!

Does that mean that Mihm and Walton will be in the starting lineup?

This is the kind of situation people imagined when they said not to trade LO for a prototype small forward. We just plug Lamar at PF with Bynum and still have a fantastic lineup

No Gasol is a good test for us tonight - see how things change and maybe AB17 will try and stay on the floor longer. It's going to be run and gun the whole time anyhow so one less big might be okay. We just have to hope the Knicks don't hit their 3's.

And I thought Marbury wasn't supposed to be with the team? He's in LA????

Lakers are not showing up for work against the Knicks, leaving behind any semblance defense. The team may start compiling a slew of losses beginning with tonight through the end of the 4-game road trip. Just amazing how disheveled they look on a consistent basis.

What did I state in the last thread, watch out for Nate Robinson, he's killing US! Hell, the entire Knicks org is raining threes, I think I saw Jerome James make ONE!
