Live from Staples -- Lakers vs. Raptors

November 30, 2008 |  6:38 pm

No Jermaine O'Neal in the starting lineup tonight for Toronto, as he's dealing with an ankle problem.  Interestingly enough, Coach Phil Jackson said it actually puts more pressure on the Lakers, since it forces the Raptors to go small and stretch the floor ... something that hasn't necessarily agreed with the purple and gold.  We'll see how it goes.

TROY

Lakers 112 Raptors 99

HOW YOU LIKE THEM APPLES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Can you stop all of this non-sense now?
////////////////////////////////////

I mean,----, after tonight, I don't see another lost until the Knicks game. ---you're not even trying anymore!!!!!

hog

Sorry, just wanted to pull a Mike T.....Wassup now Troy?

good game. Saw BK in the backround when they interviewed Andrew in FSN.

Troy....your prediction again is: WRONG.

"I hope I'm wrong".

Well you are wrong mister.

Meanwhile in the desert:

Amare-me gets ejected. Shaq couldn't dominate against a big man who while is a talented rookie isn't as big as Shaq is. Amare-me again played for his own stats and Shaq had to play daddy to the whiner by sacrificing his chance to dominate against a weaker center yet the Suns lose to a Nets team that not only got blown out by the Lakers but also haven't won a game in Phoenix in 14 years! So much for the notation that PHX can play defense!

Amare-me is a talented Forward-Center. He is still a me type guy and that is hindering PHX"s game and not even Nash having a good night can save Amare-me from getting two technicals for......whining.

To the level of D-Wade and Lebron?? LOL! Not totally. He wants to be but he isn't. Too much "me first" in Amare-me.

If Bynum is going to do that in a daily basis, lakers willl be really really GOOOOOD!!!!

I'm starting to see the Bynum before the injury... I'm just a bit concerned about JF. He cant defend that well, but offensively he is almost there!!!

Next stop Indiana!!!!

Some quick thoughts....

LO was +19 in 28 mins. He had 10 rebounds and 6 assists, played great help defense and gave a couple of good hard fouls. Man only scored 3 points but had a tremendous impact on the game. Props to Lamar!!

The Beast is back!! Drew simply outplayed Bosh and did some fine defensive work. Drew is really rounding into form. I hope his foot injury doesn't set him back.

Kobe and Pau were very efficient. Pau was a bear on the offensive glass with 5 O-boards. Lakers enjoyed a 54-36 advantage on the glass. They completely shut down the inside for Toronto, but in the process allowed the Raps to bomb away from 3 point land. On most nights I'll take that trade-off. Toronto was hot from beyond the arc and that made the game seem closer than it actually was.

Trevor continues to prove that hustle and desire is a special kind of talent.

Jordan looked like he was still hung over from his B'day bash the night before. He was throwing the ball all over creation in the 4th Q. and wound up with 5 TO's. But, I ain't mad atcha, JFarm....I just wanna see you improve your on the ball defense and carve out a niche for yourself against the CP3s and Rondos of the world.

GO LAKERS!!! TIME FOR SOME ROADKILL!!!

Indiana--trap game!

Watch out.

Wes

Kbros.....

I was wondering if a technical for hanging on the rim such as the one Andrew recieved in the Dallas game carries a fine the way an unsportsmanlike T does. Perhaps you guys know.

ROADKILL TIME!!!!!!!!!!!

GO LAKERS!!!!!!!

Troy is good luck for us! Every time he picks the Lakers to lose, they dominate!

Keep up the good work Troll, I mean Troy! Only 67 games left!

Thanks for the great reading, collegepersonals . I will pass this on to our Ira clients to read.
