Just like the tests you took in high school...

REMEMBER TO SIGN YOUR NAME!!!

If anyone has wondered why their posts haven't gone through lately, in nine out of 10 cases, it's likely because it was written without a signature.  As we've mentioned before, unless by accident, BK and I won't push an anonymous post.  Just house rules and nothing we're "upset" about, especially since I'm guessing these omissions haven't been intentional to begin with.  That said, we've had an unusually big run of them lately.  Always double check and make sure you've left a name somewhere.

Thanks.

AK

Tell your IT guy to add validation to warn the user if they're attempting to post without putting their name in ...

Taliq,

I'll pass that along, but in the meantime, I'm recommending the above mentioned approach that requires considerably fewer middle men.

AK

AK,

Sometimes after you've selected "Remember personal info?" it forgets to remember your personal info and if you're in the habit of sending posts assuming that your personal signature will be post, it can be easy to send a post without a signature.

I know I've caught the program a dozen times not remembering my signature for some reason and then had to put it in manually.

It's a recent occurence.

GO LAKERS!

Jon K,

Oh, I'm sure there are mitigating circumstances at times. Like I said, neither of us are pissed off about this. We're just sending a reminder to double check, so posts always go through.

Thanks,

AK

Sure, I'll consistently remember to write my name. But only if you guys promise to make it like the SAT where writing your name gets you an automatic 200 points. Except, instead of points, can you substitute hot press paninis? Mmmmm. Paninis.

ACK.

I made like 10 posts this morning and afternoon (some that
involved several minutes of research into salaries and stuff).

And just now I noticed that Firefox managed to not save my
name & email like it usually does.

What major suckage.

That explains what happened to my 10,000 word Laker Manifesto. I think I solved the health crisis in there also.

Too bad I didn't save a copy of the text, and once my fingers finished typing my thoughts, like farts in the wind, they vanished.

here's to Laker Dominance.
Steady as she goes.

LakerTom,

"Hopefully, the bloggers who doubted Drew or wanted to let him become a free agent or thought he was only worth $10M per year will now jump on the bandwagon."

You are grossly misrepresenting what we were saying to make yourself look right. Most of us who didn't want to give Bynum the max said we'd offer him a 5-year, 50 million dollars, with incentives taking him up to near the max, which in some ways is better than the deal he got because it has two more guaranteed seasons and gives him the potential to earn the max.

Bynum didn't deserve that much money. he played 2 games and just put up a 12 point effort - but in the ballpark of $14 mil a year? Now we have Pau, Kobe, Drew taking up $50+ million a year, plus Sasha, Walton, Radmanovic, plus an extension coming up for Farmar, plus Fish, plus Ariza's contract ---- we have a $80 million payroll without adding a single GOOD player.

What if some really good player comes out on FA??

Bad deal.

Zee Zaman, I think you're a bit nutty if you don't consider Bynum a "good player", the kid was injured for several months, you can not expect him to be putting up big numbers when we are only TWO games into the season, he will get better the more he gets to play, remember he has to get used to playing with Pau, and we are very lucky to have the guys we have now, we don't need another "really good player", we have more than enough of those already, any more would be unfair to the other teams in the NBA.

AK,

There are times when bloggers forget to sign their names normally after cleaning the temp files and all malwares and spywares generated from the blog or links. I'm not accusing the blog I know it's part of the business w/o control of the moderators that advertisers plant something on our system for commercial purposes. So far, never had any experience of virus after years of blogging, I have a twin firewall named Bynum and Gasol.

Perhaps, blank boxes occur when posters who uses multiple names get confused on their names and fake addresses. The bot disqualifies the entry.

Edwin,

If you don't want to fill out the name/email address part, no worries. We don't care about that. Just make sure to sign it at the end, so we can attribute the post to somebody.

Thanks,

AK

AK,

I always fill out my name, just giving out some example on possible reasons. I feel guilty when my opinion is posted by a bubble. I will not be your problem on these situations.

Edwin,

No worries. I was letting everyone else know as much as you personally.
