The Lakers' schedule for the 2008-09 season has been released. (Woo!) The purple and gold will open things up at home Oct. 28 against Portland -- an ESPN game, no less -- before hitting "the road" for a game the next night against the Clippers. That one will be on TNT. Those are just two of the 25 nationally televised games the Lakers will play this season.
Other highlights:
- The Shaq/Kobe Christmas has been replaced with the Paul Pierce/Kobe Christmas. Celtics vs. Lakers, in L.A. on Santa Day.
- A home heavy schedule in which 11 of their first 15 games are played at Staples.
- Nov. 10 marks the first visit for Shaq's Suns to L.A.
- Sunday, Dec. 28, vs. Golden State. "Say Hi to Ronny" Night!
- March will be a tough month. Five home games versus 10 on the road, including visits in Phoenix, Portland, Houston and San Antonio, along with potentially tough games in Chicago, Detroit, Atlanta and Charlotte (shouldn't be, but always is).
- The April schedule is reasonably friendly. Three roadies, two against Milwaukee and Sacramento. The Lakers finish the regular season with back-to-back home games against the Grizzlies and Jazz.
(UPDATE: ESPN did a "notable dates" rundown for the entire NBA, if you're interested)

Just wana say how bored the Celtic fan looks on this blog when hes on laker websites trying to bash the greatest nba franchise of all time. I mean when Kobe was killing Garnett, Allen and Pierce on a per game basis before all three teamed up isnt noted. When the lakers do win this year and the next two afterwords, well see how much love "gang man" pierce, skinny ass garnett and old ass allen well have to say. You guys got one just so you dont go crying from now on.

Lets go C's
It doesn't surprise me that you are obsessed with Kobe being able to get off at any time. It's called jealousy becasue you are unable to get off the blog,Your obsessional pet topics ,or your medication...
and it was the mailman who allegedly hit on the mambas wife... but once again failed to deliver in the clutch.Maybe if his wingman stockton had been there things would have been different. (he might have suggested to ditch the cowboy hat and it might all have been different who knows?)
If it had been shaq (another fantastic piece of credibility inducing research on your part) it would have been some serious revenge for the Colorado debacle from Mrs hottie Bryants side of things but wait...kobe's kinda like THE man so she stuck around wheras Im guessing yours left when you left the lid off the vasoline jar once too many times
Is that your problem with Kobe? is it that he goes home to a hot wife while all you have is lakers blog while you wait for your videos to download?
Anyway I see the improvement in your social interaction lets go C's - keep working on your people skills and you too might have a real live girlfriend one day.Ive heard they can be a bit rough over Boston way so she's unlikely to be in Mrs Bryants league (or have teeth for that matter) but she may add something to your life and you will no longer have this dependency on negative attention.Otherwise we'll just have to suck it up and wait until a year or so down the track when the celtics are no longer contenders and the lakers are hitting their peak with this group.I guess you'll move on then.
and you have a distaste drama? once again you are the hypocrate my lepracaun loving friend...why try to stir up people in a blog you dont even support if you have a dislikefor drama?
Nice talking to you Lets go C's.If you want to discuss anything I'll send you my email.Sometimes its just good to talk.
Take care now
