Fun stuff
Want to relive the whole "Getting to the Finals Experience?" This ought to do ya'. Solid work by the AV folks at the mothership!
And here's the report from today's practice, from Mike Bresnahan. Big, big media day happenings Wednesday afternoon. This I missed while sitting on the runway in Philly. Such is air travel these days. By the way, if you're trying to save up for tix to Games 3-5, it might help to shake out the couch cushions...
In other news, given all the time he's missed it's hard to predict how effective he might be, but Tony Allen might just be ready to play for Boston. If in fact he's able to go, it gives Doc Rivers another body to throw at Kobe.
UPDATE: This is just creepy.

This is for Jon K (part time Clippers fan)
Sam wants to coach the clippers?

Fatty,
For the series, who do think will get more PT - Mihm or Newble? Less than 2 mins total is a push. Loser to leave comment on Mike T's blog.

Fairweather Fatty,
Sam Cassell is a fricking turncoat. It wasn't cool what he did to the Clippers.
I hope DJ The Banger Mbenga judo throws Sam Cassell and then shoves a family sized bag of Reese's Pieces down his throat.
GO LAKERS!

I'm always for a good bet. But having to post on Mike T's site?!
Even Tim-4-Show would say those stakes are to high.
My fear, and I've had this dream, or nightmare several times is.
There's a knock at my door. My wife answers and turns to me and says, "Honey? There's a man here, he has a gun, and he says he wants to talk Kwame's calves with you."

Okay, tomorrow's Bio-Chrono Reading for Game One of the Finals:
Physically: Play with confidence and do whatever you can to undermine the confidence of the Celtics, particularly Doc Rivers, who will be vulnerable tomorrow.
Emotionally: Be yourself. Appreciate your teammates.
Mentally: REALLY emphasize team unity, team spirit, and focus your decision making on utilizing the team as a collective unit. Sasha Vuljacic will be especially positively affected tomorrow in this regard.
Creatively: Play with a worksmanship-like approach to the game. Play the game with a possesion-by-possesion approach. Make decisions for the pure purpose of acheiving real-world results. Nothing else.
GO LAKERS!

Simi Laker Girl,
It's the NBA Finals! Are you kidding? Go for the gusto and pick a place with great flatscreen tv's and a bar. We will come.
I am so over all the prognosticating, huffing and puffing over this series. Actions speak louder than words, so let's play basketball, already. I think I'll start drinking now :)
Time to get the party started! This is our team. This is our year. Go Lakers!

Hey all - just trying to catch up again. Man - that last thread turned into a bore to read. I hope we're all done with the politics - you know there are other blogs for that stuff, right?!!
Well - less than 24 hours to go until game time. Can you believe this day is actually here? This season has been one of the most amazing ones in a loooonnnnng time - maybe even THE most amazing one (we could take a vote! LOL!). At last - the Lake Show is back to claim their title as World Champs! Tomorrow is just the start of years of dominance - I don't see other issues getting in the way of that, like money or personalities, etc. Don't these guys want to be NBA athletes to win it all? They know the money will be there, but all the great players who haven't won a championship all say that the ring was what they really played for. And that their legacy is not complete without it. I think this team will stay together a long time - they all get along so well, and if the rings are coming who's going to want to leave?
This is our year, our time, our destiny - the birth of a new dynasty has already occurred.
4 to O'Brien......

Phil Jackson reminded the Lakers of their 8 Month Mission of Aplomb.
In the blog, we want to remind the Lakers that we have been here for 32 Months of Dreaming, have had nightmares of Kwame and Smush, have embraced the new mantra of Mamba, Gasol, Odom that in 2008 it will be our time, a new journey will be recorded. So please don't disappoint the fans.
PS. If newcomers at the Finals are having some pressures and jitteries, think of the pressure of the underachiever being burn at stake at the Pershing Square. lol!
Let the games begin and win one for Drew Bynum.

He was a General and leader of men in Spain
Then became lost as a slave in Memphis
They said he was soft, he couldn't win a playoff series, ....he was branded a loser. (cue sad music)
Now he has become a Gladiator.
But not just any Gladiator. He's our Gladiator.
I give you the Spaniard, Maximus, the Gladiator!***

Holy Hannah..... KG and Kobe don't look that different. Just skin tone and the EYES!!!
KG stares at you with intensity.
KB looks like has the Mamba "You are already dead and I'm bored" look.

so much for the sweep l.a. different conferences, differant styles. a miniscus injury is tough, check it on line. no need for hatred, two great teams going for their lifelong goals. if you are a fan of the sport you will appreciate this. nothing wrong with being behind your team. admit it or not true fans from both cities do respect the opponents but at teh same time beleive in their team. truth be told we missed jack at the garden last night. again kobe is not the team, realize that. embrace all of your players as we do in boston. celts in 6
