Three quick bits

Since it's a zoo in here and we gotta eat quick before the live blog...

1) Same inactive list as usual: Trevor Ariza, Andrew Bynum, Coby Karl

2) Phil Jackson was told everything went well with Bynum's knee surgery today and that Bynum's expected to be at full strength come the start of training camp.  "100% and ready to play."  He suspected Drew was glad to finally have this over with, having held out hope this long for a playoff appearance.  Now that it obviously wasn't happening, might as well move forward.  PJ also said the team's seriously "antsy" for some action, having been off since Friday night.  He actually had to dial down the competitive nature of yesterday's practice a bit, just to make sure guys didn't get too physical.

3) Phil also predicted "David" would win "American Idol" tonight.  Apparently, both finalists share that name. I had no idea.

THANKS GOD FOR THE WIN TONIGHT.

LOVE TO ALL

SHEKOBE

Awww...I was hoping for an Ariza sighting tonight.

Go Lakers!!! I'm so proud of these guys, and I'm beyond excited for these WC Finals.

I've been too cautious, wanting to avoid being called a homer, but forget that now:

Lakers in 5!!!!

Bowen's going down tonight!

I am disappointed that Ariza is inactive...I thought we would see him this game if only for a few...but I guess coach knows best.

Let's Go Lake Show!

We need The Eraser off the inactive list!

Is Phil Jackson holding back his secret weapon? What gives?

In any case...

MELTDOWN THE SPURS TONIGHT!

TONIGHT A NEW DYNASTY BEGINS!

ONWARDS TO VICTORY!

GO LAKERS!

Good to hear that the Lakers are chomping at the bit and are ready to go!!!

GO LAKERS!!!

SPUCK THE FURS!!!!

Ariza inactive. That's too bad, I wanted to see him maybe get some minutes if only a couple...

this new amazing link directly from tnt no comentaries, but you get to choose the camera angles!

I think Phil is counting this game in the win column already and therefore,
does not feel the need to activate Ariza, thereby giving him two more days of
rest.

Go Lakers!

Yeah…

Don’t get it. All reports I read had all as a go for Ariza. And now a late scratch. Oh well… much good luck to the guys tonight anyway.

GO LAKERS!

That he managed to find a job requiring him to obsess over his favorite team, the same activity that prompted him to waste time while working other jobs, is pretty incredible. As for Brian, his baptism into pro hoops fandom has been provided by the "All Lakers, All The Time" citizens of Los Angeles. Beats the hell out of covering the Bucks.
