Pressure is still on Utah, who can't afford to go down 3-1. Fewer TOs and more made jumpers and the Lakers can steal one in Salt Lake. A heartier constitution displayed by Pau Gasol won't hurt, either.
FARMAR SUCKS.
Gave up 3 layups to Williams already. Fails to get back on defense. Can't manage the clock and takes an ill-advised three after an offensive rebound. Misses a layup.
Lakers seem to be starting out flat-- the ol' starting out slow finishing strong game again...... thank God we have a different announcing crew on TV... the radio has a delay so I can't listen.... GO LAKERS!
FARMAR SUCKS. Please Phil bring in Turiaf. Move Lamar to Point to bring up the ball and put his length on Williams. Farmar is worthless right now. Absolutely worthless.
Just sit Farmar. Please. He is looking like Smush Parker out there. Please. I thought we got rid of Parker this offseason but a new one has appeared in the playoffs in Farmar.
Jazz obviously came out with a lot of energy and just continued the exact same gameplan from last game. No discernable adjustments from the Lakers. Maybe losing a close one didn't get their attention enough and they're going to have to get their asses handed to them in order to wake up.
I wouldn't want to be Phil right now. If he benches Farmar, he destroys what little confidence Jordan has left. If he leaves him in, the Lakers fall deeper into the hole. Tough decision.

Lakers are set on every position next year EXCEPt backup point guard. Farmar needs to go. Lakers need a stronger mentally strong point guard who doesn't slouch every time he makes a mistake.
boy lakers are really shooting themselves in the foot. rad forcing shots, everyone including kobe missing layups, just making stupid plays. as long as they play smart they'll be alright
Lakers are not gonna win this series if they dont start to take care of defensive rebounds. Thats it. Thats all. They get the stops, but they give the jazz the offensive rebounds. Its very VERY frustrating. And watch Pau everytime theres a freethrow, he always gets pushed under the rim. Always. He needs to stick his position.
Lamar needs to get involved in the scoring, he can't afford to be a spectator today. Right now the Jazz want it more. If the Lakers go back to LA 2-2 Utah will win the series because they are more likely to geta win in LA.
1 DOWN- The first quarter can be summed up as a solid ass kickin'. But Pau is looking like he should, Luke is playing solid physical ball. The fouls on Fish & Pau hurt though. And not happy with how the game is being called but we can't worry about it. We will tighten up our defense, esp the easy penetration and settle down in the 2nd quarter,
Move ball to open man? That's how we got in this mess
Phil started to make the adjustment that he should have made in the 2nd quarter of the last game.
When you put Kobe in the post (especially against Brewer) and run the offense through Kobe, it forces Utah to make a decision to either double Kobe or allow him 1 on 1 .........this will result in Kobe scoring or catch and finish plays for Gasol or Odom. Gasol can't score in the post one-on-one and no other player can create their own shot.
If Kobe's back is not that bad this should happen EVERY trip up the floor
They started to do that and got back in the game resulting in Easy points for Gasol and then inexplicably they went away from it.
Bulls***! That was the cheapest ejection I ever saw. There was nothing flagrant or malicious about that, he was going for the ball. These refs are f****** idiots!
RIDICULOUS!!!!! Obviously I'm biased towards the Lakers, but that was NOT a flagrant 2. It was a hard foul, no doubt but it's the playoffs....they shouldn't have thrown him out .
I'm reminded of the series against PHX in 06. They made two key adjustments that the Lakers coaches were never able to adjust to - putting Diaw on Smush in the pick-n-roll and doubling LO every time he had the ball. Also, the Detroit series in 04. If the other team is exploiting an advantage, you have to adjust rather than being in denial that they do have an advantage.
If the refs continue to be this bad and the Lakers fall into a deep deficit (knock on wood), I wonder if Phil can just sit all his players on the bench and continue to get delay of game and technical penalities so the game will never end.
They overreacted on the Ronnie play. Ronnie got the ball and his hands so its not Ronnie's fault that he fell like he did. Big overreaction. When Jerry Sloan ran off the bench it inticed the refs to call the flagrant 2 foul.
The Ronnie ejection is a perfect example of how the crowd in Utah influences the refs. Can our bench give them some earplugs so they can do their job without giving into the crowd?
I disagree! Dude came in off balanced and awkward. Ronny didn't do anything other make a play on the ball. So what makes a hard foul? If a man makes a play on the ball and he lands on his feet theres no flagrant! But he was out of control. Help me out here cuz it seems that flagrant was cuz of how he landed and not the contact
The Jazz has been allowed to play football for 4 games.
D Fish breathes on D Will and he gets a silly second foul?
The bad officiating is affecting the Lakers.
The NBA: were fix games happen.
That's ridiculous. Putting aside the fact that Turiaf clearly went for the ball and Price just fell badly, how does Ronny get ejected, but Price doesn't even get a T for jawing at him? Absurd. It wasn't even worth a flagrant, much less all this.
Hey Refs, does Utah really need that much help to win? Also, I like Hubie Brown, but c'mon, stop being such an obvious Utah fan. Do the Lakers practice free throws?
Anyone know how many layups Lamar has blown this series? He really needs to figure out that all those blown shots at the rim are equivalent to him throwing the ball out of bounds. I have grown very tired of Lamar's game this series. Good things aside he makes dumb decisions at the worst times, and shrinks when you most need him.
Lakers just need to suck it up, be patient and play smart. Sometimes they look completely lost out there. Stick to the game plan and execute. As long as they keep it within 10 they'll be OK.
WOW I can't believe this game--- everything going haywire.. the refs are completely changing the face of the game by calling the worst officiating I've ever seen--- Kobe hurt, Ronny out, Fish with 3 fouls---- SHEEET I can't even type correctly I'm so upset
Major difference so far? Missed free throws. Lakers are 4-13 from the stripe so far. IMO, the Jazz aren't that good of a team. They're only pumped up because of their crowd.
Yes, the Lakers look off-balance (i.e.: bad free throw shooting).
However, I contend the officating has interrupted their flow.
Somehow-in spite of playing 5 (Lakers) against 8 (Jazz and Stern's officiating crew)-they must play through it.
The NBA: were fixed games to make sure we have several 7 game series happen.
refs suck refs suck refs suck refs suck...Ronny shouldn't have gotten ejected..Price was in the air and was already heading down to the floor..prices fault
I'm noticing a lot of late calls after a shot doesn't go down. That is NOT how to call a game, and it's really starting to irritate me.
Posted by: BH | May 11, 2008 at 01:19 PM
Exactly man! Theres no wistle during contact..but it seems the refs are bailin them out severely after the miss
Clearly no one is making their outside shot. Is it possible for the Lakers to run some plays inside the paint? Maybe get an easy basket or draw some fouls?
With 200% of the things that possibly could go wrong already hitting the fan, this is still a winnable game. Not a very easily winnable game, but they're still right there, and someone has to break out at some point.
Thanks Kyle Kover way to bail us out. Good job Luke in drawing the foul, and kobe for not forcing. we score here it is down to a four point game. Not bad for having an off night and that terrible call on Ronnie
Vujacic on Williams is a good matchup, well a better one than Farmar on Williams Vujacic moves his feet a little and works unlike Farmar. Farmar does not play the rest of the game.
How many times do we have to hear Hubie say that Ronnie was going for the ball to verify we know that the call was bullcrap.
I like how Gasol went to the ref and pointed to his ear as if to say "didn't you hear that loud azz smack I just got from Okur?" I heard it plain and clear on my t.v. I would imagine the ref standing right there could have at least seen it!
That's a hard foul, certainly not uneccesary and excessive contact. Terrible call to cal that a flagrant 2.

My bad..iwhat I meant was I disagree with it being a hard foul. After watching the replay he jumped with no intention of trying to make a shot..if Turiaf hadn't made a play on the ball..he wuda still landed awkward. I agree with everything else you said though
God I'm glad I don't live in SLC. Did you catch the hits the organ player is pounding out? "Mexican Hat Dance" followed by "If You're Happy and You Know It" (or whatever that clap your hands song for two-year olds is called...Awesome!
I don't see Lakers making ANY adjustments after game 3.
Fish is picking up fouls again.
Farmar is not doing anything on the floor
Pau is still being bullied by Utah
And Phil is yet to put Mbenga in the game
I would normally agree with you but in this particular game good spacing and ball movement are pivitol for us to win. Not to mention hitting open perimeter shots and layups freethrows!
So relax! Keep your emotional tirades to a minimum!
Has anyone notice how D Fish has been called for 2 quick fouls in the 2 games in Utah?
The NBA: were we must allow D Will and his teamates to have a better offensive flow by not allowing D Fish to play aggresive defense happens.
Williams is a retard. He said Turiaf's foul was a flagrant becuase it was after the whistle. Then his teammates should not have gone to the hoop looking like he wanted to score.
The NBA: were The Machine gets all ball yet we must give D Will 2 free throws to give him-and his team-a little half time momentum to feel good about themselve going into the 2nd half happens.
I don't think it is a coincidencce that the Lakers are making their run with BOTH Vlad and Farmar on the bench. BUt I bet Phil is going to play both of them in the second half. PLEASE sit both of them. Please.
I don't think it is a coincidencce that the Lakers are making their run with BOTH Vlad and Farmar on the bench. BUt I bet Phil is going to play both of them in the second half. PLEASE sit both of them. Please.
In spite of D Fish being called for 2 quick 1st qtr fouls...
In spite of Utah being allowed to play football....
In spite of L.A. being whistled for touch foul...
In spite of playing 5 (Lakers) against 9 (Jazz/refs/Stern wanting 7 game series).....
In spite of the above affecting LA mentally (i.e. missed free throw).....
WE MUST SOLDIER ON!!!!
STAY STRONG IN MIND AND WE WILL WIN!!!
LETS GO LAKE SHOW!!!!
The Jazz are worried! Why? Were still playing terrible and the game is tied. We have officially played through the inconsistent foul calls. People say that we were exposed friday. Wether yall wana believe it or not Phil is exposing the Jazz's weakness. That's why were tied
Fish needs to stay out of trouble. Farmar is getting smoked by Deron. Let's make the free throws. I hope things are ok with Kobe. Gasol needs to step and perform. Better defense is crucial in the second half.
Even with all that's gone wrong, the Lakers are still here and will win this game in the second half. We'd be up if we hit even half of our free throws. Kobe with the nice jumper at the buzzer, should've been a three point play with Brewer pushing Kobe. Farmar and Rad need to give us something. Go Lakers!!!
were tied.........
an everything that went wrong in that half......
an were tied.
I still think vlad an farmar would have an impact before the game is over.
anyone know of an email or phone number to the league headquarters? this is absolutely ridiculous homecooking. i mean...that Vuacic block on Deron was a clean block all day long. Yet Pau gets HACKED so loud you can hear it on t.v...and no foul? What about that flop by Okur. Lamar didn't come close to fouling him. This is just really really bad.
Very Important
I don't think it is a coincidencce that the Lakers are making their run with BOTH Vlad and Farmar on the bench. BUt I bet Phil is going to play both of them in the second half. PLEASE sit both of them. Please.
The refs are calling the game soft. As Phil has said before, maybe the refs are intimidated. Incompetent refs..... stupid. Let's play this game and win today!!!!!!!!
Can somebody tell me what is going on with Jordan? He is nor rook anymore, he suppose like take a torch from Fish in the future in starting lineup. Any thoughts?
We're all pretty hard on Jordan. It's still year two for this kid.
Sasha is showing up big in this game. He's in year four. It shows.
Fish has some tough calls and the Lakers were definitely on the short end of a few more than just his, but in the end the Lakers have been able to capitalize on opportunities.
The players must win the game. Losses are not the fault of the refs.
Nice first half by Pau. I liked his aggression and muscle around the hoop. He's going to the hole and not letting the mongoloid Jazz players push him around.
Looking for the Lakers to take over in the second half.
With CP3 and Deron Williams in the West, we may be in trouble if Farmar is our PG of the future. I know that Farmar is only in his second year, but those other two seem to be light years ahead of Farmar in terms of development.

Boozer gets more love from the refs than he deserves. He should have picked up several more fouls than he has, including that one on Lamar's fastbreak that went unpunished.

Great post.
If Jordan refuses to strengthen his upper and lower body by gaining weight and weight lifting, to quote Kobe: "ship his ass out."
Vlad has been garbage. Safe to say he won't be with the team for much longer. His problem is something I'm not sure you can fix, it's the mental toughness part
The Jazz are playing the best they can play and the lakers look uninterested. The Lakers need this game just as much as the Jazz. The pressure goes back on the lakers to win at home if they lose today..
These officials obviously have an agenda by the mob or something. Too many bad calls against the Lakers. I hate these guys especially the black official.THIS GUY HAS TO BE FIRED AFTER TODAY'S GAME. HE'S A FREAKING FRUSTRATION OF AN OFFICIAL. HATE THIS GUY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The problem with Vlade it's his contract, do you think it's big secret he is a grabage? To trade him will be next to impossible unless Mitch will pull up another "a la Gasol" trade...
That's the only thing I hate. I understand close calls but Gasol was way inside even in normal speed from my living room I could see that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

passionate Lakers fan,
Great post. We may regret later that we traded Crit instead of Jordan because at least Crit isn't afraid to attack offensively and may be a better defender than Jordan. Also, in the triangle system the PG has a different role than in a traditional offense and Crit may have been a better fit long term, but we'll see. Go Lakers!!!
What's really amazing is how Kobe's not only playing with this physical discomfort, but actually looking to post up and take contact with it. That can't feel good.
As long as the Lakers are close going into the fourth we should pull this one out. Attack the basket more in the fourth because the Jazz are prone to fouling. Kobe is a straight up Warrior, but I hope his back doesn't bother him the way T-Mac's did for a couple of seasons. Go Lakers!!!
I don't like the lineup that PJ started the fourth quarter with. Farmar and DJ will give us nothing offensively. Korver is a lucky shooter that looks like Frankenstein, LOL.
Farmar is WEAK. Every time he closes out on a Jazz player, it looks half-hearted. It looks like he just wants to look like he's trying, instead of really making a play for the ball
Evidently PJ is willing to leave Farmar in to "taech" him..even if it means losing the game.I can't stand watching right now. Vald is a similar story. Ouch!
Farmar is a mess. He's being run out of the bldg on both ends of the court. I feel for him but this is not the time for people who can't play. Get him out of there.
The foul calls against the Lakers is OUT OF CONTROL.

And not happy with how the game is being called but we can't worry about it. We will tighten up our defense, esp the easy penetration and settle down in the 2nd quarter,

Flagrant 2?! Absolutely ridiculous, none of these refs should get to call another playoff game this year.

that will be changed to a flagrant one, at the worst, those refs got caught up with the crowd, watch out now though, the lakers look pissed finally.

Posted by: greek dude | May 11, 2008 at 01:15 PM
I'm reminded of the series against PHX in 06. They made two key adjustments that the Lakers coaches were never able to adjust to - putting Diaw on Smush in the pick-n-roll and doubling LO every time he had the ball. Also, the Detroit series in 04. If the other team is exploiting an advantage, you have to adjust rather than being in denial that they do have an advantage.
Let's hope history doesn't repeat itself.
Posted by: lakers_sth | May 11, 2008 at 01:16 PM
If the refs continue to be this bad and the Lakers fall into a deep deficit (knock on wood), I wonder if Phil can just sit all his players on the bench and continue to get delay of game and technical penalities so the game will never end.
Posted by: Tom | May 11, 2008 at 01:16 PM
Poor Price. That's a goofy bandage.
Why do they not make band-aids in skin tones other than 'peach'?

i will stay positive about this. but i can't stop crying.
Posted by: isang | May 11, 2008 at 01:16 PM
They overreacted on the Ronnie play. Ronnie got the ball and his hands so its not Ronnie's fault that he fell like he did. Big overreaction. When Jerry Sloan ran off the bench it inticed the refs to call the flagrant 2 foul.
Posted by: 70'slakerfan | May 11, 2008 at 01:17 PM
The Ronnie ejection is a perfect example of how the crowd in Utah influences the refs. Can our bench give them some earplugs so they can do their job without giving into the crowd?
Posted by: WWJWWD | May 11, 2008 at 01:18 PM
Third foul on Fisher?
That's not good.

Posted by: BH | May 11, 2008 at 01:19 PM
BK
Posted by: lakeraholic | May 11, 2008 at 01:19 PM
The Jazz has been allowed to play football for 4 games.
D Fish breathes on D Will and he gets a silly second foul?
The bad officiating is affecting the Lakers.

Very ticky tack reffing on Fish today. That bump was incidental at best.
Posted by: thehammer | May 11, 2008 at 01:20 PM
horrible game by kobe, he may be injured but he has to play better in case we have ANY chance of win this ballgame
Posted by: playa | May 11, 2008 at 01:21 PM
How did Fish get called for his third foul?
Vlad sucks, that is true and we need to get Farmer going!
Posted by: Dadi | May 11, 2008 at 01:21 PM
That's ridiculous. Putting aside the fact that Turiaf clearly went for the ball and Price just fell badly, how does Ronny get ejected, but Price doesn't even get a T for jawing at him? Absurd. It wasn't even worth a flagrant, much less all this.

Posted by: BH | May 11, 2008 at 01:27 PM
We got the same amount of FT as Utah, we're shooting 4 of 13 (!!!!) 4 of 13 FT?
Posted by: LAL_Fan | May 11, 2008 at 01:28 PM
Lakers just need to suck it up, be patient and play smart. Sometimes they look completely lost out there. Stick to the game plan and execute. As long as they keep it within 10 they'll be OK.
Posted by: KimD | May 11, 2008 at 01:28 PM

Posted by: playa | May 11, 2008 at 01:28 PM
WOW I can't believe this game--- everything going haywire.. the refs are completely changing the face of the game by calling the worst officiating I've ever seen--- Kobe hurt, Ronny out, Fish with 3 fouls---- SHEEET I can't even type correctly I'm so upset
Posted by: JAIMSYY | May 11, 2008 at 01:29 PM
Major difference so far? Missed free throws. Lakers are 4-13 from the stripe so far. IMO, the Jazz aren't that good of a team. They're only pumped up because of their crowd.
Posted by: Nemaia Faletogo | May 11, 2008 at 01:29 PM
Yes, the Lakers look off-balance (i.e.: bad free throw shooting).
However, I contend the officating has interrupted their flow.
Somehow-in spite of playing 5 (Lakers) against 8 (Jazz and Stern's officiating crew)-they must play through it.
The NBA: were fixed games to make sure we have several 7 game series happen.

Posted by: lakerzeitgeist | May 11, 2008 at 01:37 PM
Vujacic on Williams is a good matchup, well a better one than Farmar on Williams Vujacic moves his feet a little and works unlike Farmar. Farmar does not play the rest of the game.

Hubie generally does a good job IMO. Balanced, with good basketball insight.
Thank goodness for Luke and Sasha on the offensive end.

Good pass from Gasol

With CP3 and Deron Williams in the West, we may be in trouble if Farmar is our PG of the future. I know that Farmar is only in his second year, but those other two seem to be light years ahead of Farmar in terms of development.

By the way Odom i s talking to Vlad, we know Vlad messed up. Vlad sucks. He leaves okur

Posted by: Tom | May 11, 2008 at 02:09 PM
Very Important
I don't think it is a coincidencce that the Lakers are making their run with BOTH Vlad and Farmar on the bench. BUt I bet Phil is going to play both of them in the second half. PLEASE sit both of them. Please.
Posted by: Tom | May 11, 2008 at 02:10 PM
Take this piece of crap out. Take Vlad out. He is horrendous on defense. So hard to watch him play!
Posted by: Tom | May 11, 2008 at 02:11 PM
Am I the only one who thinks with Vlade in starting lineup we are playing like 4 against 5? Total useless on D orO for this matter
Posted by: LAL_Fan | May 11, 2008 at 02:11 PM
Boozer gets more love from the refs than he deserves. He should have picked up several more fouls than he has, including that one on Lamar's fastbreak that went unpunished.

Great post.
If Jordan refuses to strengthen his upper and lower body by gaining weight and weight lifting, to quote Kobe: "ship his ass out."
Posted by: passionate Lakers fan | May 11, 2008 at 02:14 PM
Damn, Kobe looks stiff as a board. Too bad he doesn't have the light as a feather to go with it.
Posted by: WWJWWD | May 11, 2008 at 02:14 PM
Vlad has been garbage. Safe to say he won't be with the team for much longer. His problem is something I'm not sure you can fix, it's the mental toughness part
Posted by: Vonislav Waferdenko | May 11, 2008 at 02:14 PM
Kobe's passing too much. He should finish when he has a shot.
Posted by: raskol | May 11, 2008 at 02:14 PM
The Jazz are playing the best they can play and the lakers look uninterested. The Lakers need this game just as much as the Jazz. The pressure goes back on the lakers to win at home if they lose today..
Posted by: 70'slakerfan | May 11, 2008 at 02:14 PM
What do you know . Vlad starts the third. Lakers losing. ITS NOT A COINCIDENCE
Posted by: Tom | May 11, 2008 at 02:15 PM
ohhh man, vladdy is sooo far away in his outer space probably, and this is like for whole play offs
Posted by: playa | May 11, 2008 at 02:17 PM
That ref is on crack. The ball did not hit the baseline.
Posted by: WWJWWD | May 11, 2008 at 02:19 PM

Posted by: Tom | May 11, 2008 at 02:19 PM
Blatant homer call by the ref leads to a Utah 3.
Fish answers. Nice touch.

The Lakers are playing 4 against 5.
Why is Vladimir on the floor?
Posted by: passionate Lakers fan | May 11, 2008 at 02:20 PM
These officials obviously have an agenda by the mob or something. Too many bad calls against the Lakers. I hate these guys especially the black official.THIS GUY HAS TO BE FIRED AFTER TODAY'S GAME. HE'S A FREAKING FRUSTRATION OF AN OFFICIAL. HATE THIS GUY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Posted by: STUPID OFFICIAL | May 11, 2008 at 02:20 PM
WET HANDS!!!! Gasol wake up, now!!!
Posted by: HugoSpain "horse whisperer???" | May 11, 2008 at 02:20 PM
So frustrating... the game is right there for us to take, but silly turnovers or quick shots are killing us.
Posted by: Vonislav Waferdenko | May 11, 2008 at 02:21 PM
pau, go get the pass.
simple as that.
Posted by: CBuck | May 11, 2008 at 02:21 PM
and Pau is makin every kobe pass turnover... hmmm
Posted by: playa | May 11, 2008 at 02:21 PM
What is Vlad doing right now that Coby Karl can't? I'm sure Karl can shoot better.
Posted by: Tom | May 11, 2008 at 02:21 PM
DAMN OFFICIAL!!! THIS GUYS SUCKS BADLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Posted by: STUPID OFFICIAL | May 11, 2008 at 02:22 PM
no many how times i rewind and slow-mo, Gasol still didn't dribble the ball on the baseline.
Posted by: lakerfan | May 11, 2008 at 02:23 PM
The problem with Vlade it's his contract, do you think it's big secret he is a grabage? To trade him will be next to impossible unless Mitch will pull up another "a la Gasol" trade...
Posted by: LAL_Fan | May 11, 2008 at 02:23 PM
That's the only thing I hate. I understand close calls but Gasol was way inside even in normal speed from my living room I could see that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Posted by: dumb ref | May 11, 2008 at 02:23 PM
Farmar and Vlad should find two seats they like on the bench and stay there. They should make friends there and talk about how much they suck.
Posted by: Tom | May 11, 2008 at 02:23 PM

passionate Lakers fan,

Phil needs to sit Kobe and force lamar and Pau to figure out how they will score...
Posted by: 70'slakerfan | May 11, 2008 at 02:28 PM
Farmar leaves his feet and Korver gets a wide open look. Great defense Farmar.
Posted by: Tom | May 11, 2008 at 02:29 PM
70'slakerfan
An absolutely stupid strategy.
Posted by: Tom | May 11, 2008 at 02:31 PM
Great, what is Kobe doing now? I think he wants to pull a Jordan and come back and win the game injured.
Posted by: Lakerfoo | May 11, 2008 at 02:31 PM
F..g Sasha can not stay on Korver? WTF going on!!!
Posted by: LAL_Fan | May 11, 2008 at 02:31 PM
As long as the Lakers are close going into the fourth we should pull this one out. Attack the basket more in the fourth because the Jazz are prone to fouling. Kobe is a straight up Warrior, but I hope his back doesn't bother him the way T-Mac's did for a couple of seasons. Go Lakers!!!
Posted by: Nemaia Faletogo | May 11, 2008 at 02:31 PM
Whatever good Kobe's doing is negated by Jordan and Vlad.
Now we just need to stop those 2 from losing us the game.
Posted by: Faith | May 11, 2008 at 02:31 PM
Kobe, it's time to add to the legend!!!
Posted by: shneurson | May 11, 2008 at 02:32 PM

Posted by: Tom | May 11, 2008 at 02:34 PM

Blast those Jazz!
Doom to the Jazz!
GO LAKERS!

HOW HARD IS IT TO CHASE A GUY ON SCREENS . VUJACIC SUCKS ON DEFENSE!
Posted by: Tom | May 11, 2008 at 02:35 PM
Great move Odom........can he make the free throw?
yes!
Posted by: pfunk36 | May 11, 2008 at 02:36 PM
I don't like the lineup that PJ started the fourth quarter with. Farmar and DJ will give us nothing offensively. Korver is a lucky shooter that looks like Frankenstein, LOL.
Posted by: Nemaia Faletogo | May 11, 2008 at 02:36 PM
Farmar is WEAK. Every time he closes out on a Jazz player, it looks half-hearted. It looks like he just wants to look like he's trying, instead of really making a play for the ball
Posted by: Vonislav Waferdenko | May 11, 2008 at 02:36 PM
Oh, they've brought out the "Lakers Suck" chant.
Sweet.
GO LAKERS!!
Posted by: Happy Camper | May 11, 2008 at 02:36 PM
Farmar cant guard willimas. Farmar can't guard Price. TAKE HIS WORTHLESS A** OUT.
Posted by: Tom | May 11, 2008 at 02:36 PM
The lakers have to get some stops because the game is starting to get away from them. What will phil do now?
Posted by: 70'slakerfan | May 11, 2008 at 02:36 PM
He CAN'T EVEN CATCH THE BALL! TAKE HIM OUT PLEASSESEEE!
Posted by: Tom | May 11, 2008 at 02:37 PM
I really like Farmar, but he is absolutely KILLING the Lakers. This is SMUSH level. Or worse
Posted by: Vonislav Waferdenko | May 11, 2008 at 02:37 PM
Farmar needs to be benched now!!
Posted by: HugoSpain "horse whisperer???" | May 11, 2008 at 02:37 PM
Does someone here realy thinks we have a good bench? Just look at Sasha's/Farmar play, Smush is not looking so bad on D anymore..
Posted by: LAL_Fan | May 11, 2008 at 02:37 PM
Farmar can't defend anyone!!! Take his butt out!!! Harpring fouls one every play.
Posted by: Nemaia Faletogo | May 11, 2008 at 02:38 PM
fARMAR FOULS tAKE HIM OUT! PLEASEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
Posted by: Tom | May 11, 2008 at 02:38 PM
jordan's play is a joke, a bitter one ....
Posted by: playa | May 11, 2008 at 02:38 PM
C'mon Farmar is completely without confidence.
Phil must take him out.
We can afford have him running the offense.
The second unit is turning a close game in a blow out.
Posted by: Allan - Brazil | May 11, 2008 at 02:38 PM
Evidently PJ is willing to leave Farmar in to "taech" him..even if it means losing the game.I can't stand watching right now. Vald is a similar story. Ouch!
Posted by: AZ LakerFan | May 11, 2008 at 02:38 PM
WE DON'T HAVE BENCH ANYMORE!!! IT WAS A MYTH!!!
Posted by: LAL_Fan | May 11, 2008 at 02:39 PM
I have to agree with Faith on this one.
Fixed.
Mbenga stuffs Milsap, the Jazz fans LOVE the obvious blown call.
Posted by: WWJWWD | May 11, 2008 at 02:39 PM
Farmar is a mess. He's being run out of the bldg on both ends of the court. I feel for him but this is not the time for people who can't play. Get him out of there.
The foul calls against the Lakers is OUT OF CONTROL.

C'mon. Go go go Lakers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bench lost the game for us...
We're done... stick a fork in this game.
Farmar I dont want to see you in a Laker uniform anymore.
Vlad, same for you.
