Boston couldn't win on the road earlier, nor New Orleans last night. Here's hoping third time is the proverbial charm.

so far so good...what is up in the east? final score looks like a women's game between Northeastern & Cleveland St.

C'mon guys... Lakers are playing much better than probably everyone expected...
there's no reason to complain. Everyone's contributed so far.
Let's go Lakers!

Millsap's layup was not a foul but I must remember to stop harping on the officiating....Williams failed layup on Uthas possesion before that looked more like a foul on us than Millsaps out of control layup... how he got that in over Turiaf's outstretched hand was lucky in my view.. Anyways, 2nd unit looking better but Farmar still looks like he' lost his confidence out there. Blocked layup, almost committed turnover on that nearly overthrown pass to Ronnie..... Sasha and Luke doing and looking better and Gasol is quietly having a brilliant game!! Go Lakers!

Gasaal
Farmer
Tourief
Vujasheck
Although I could've sworn I heard him say "Vujacic" a minute ago...
He cracks me up - making no attempt whatsoever to pronounce names correctly!

Posted by: jhnlannery | May 16, 2008 at 08:31 PM
I like the way the Lakers look. They are playing calmly. They are following my advice of walking it up the court.
Lakers GO LAKERS GOOOOOooooOOO!!!

If you're having trouble with the online link, part of it is not highlighted as a link. Cut and paste the entire link and it works like a charm.
Derek--
Living in GreenieWeenie territory, their so called fans are really nervous. I'd like to give a few a nudge off the bridge railing while walking by.
Any fans of a Western team, if you're afraid of this version of the Celts, you are sadly going blind.
Garnett played the fourth quarter tonight just like an 8 year old kid that is afraid of a baseball plays third base. I saw a couple times where defense was about to reach him on a drive to the bucket and he just cowered. One time he hoisted a silly looking 10 footer and another time he half-a$$ed a bounce pass to a teammate.

HAMMER that KOBE!
Posted by: bonez | May 16, 2008 at 08:32 PM
What is that look on Harpring's face??
Fear?
Confusion?
Depression?
The look on MY face is glee!
GO LAKERS!!

Wowwww...Kobe!
Posted by: BocaLakerGurl | May 16, 2008 at 08:32 PM
Can the Lakers in this first half post what it took Boston the entire game?
70 in this half is not out of the question.
Posted by: MiloRambaldi | May 16, 2008 at 08:33 PM
Guys, I LOVE YOU, but enough with the threes!
GO LAAAAAaaAAAKERS!!!
Posted by: JohnnyP | May 16, 2008 at 08:33 PM
Why are we missing opportunities for offensive rebounds?
Posted by: Rick Friedman | May 16, 2008 at 08:34 PM
What does Radmanovich have to do to get consistent minutes?
Posted by: pfunk36 | May 16, 2008 at 08:34 PM
i'd like the way the lakers start tonite... so SMOOTH on offense and defense....
Posted by: joetoronto | May 16, 2008 at 08:34 PM
Lakers are looking great. Very focused and patient. I can't believe Utah has come out so flat.
Posted by: KimD | May 16, 2008 at 08:35 PM
Loving this!!! If WIlliams wants to take that three instead of driving/creating for Utah I'll take it all game long......he made the last 3 he tried but he won't keep making them... Very good defense and defensive rebounding so far and i stand corrected on my earlier post indicating I thought TRIPLE OCHO did not appear to have 100% of his lift... Guess Kobe really shut me up on that one with that dunk!!! LOL!

...let's take care of business!!
Posted by: forelif3 | May 16, 2008 at 08:37 PM
EL CAPITAN!
Posted by: Lakers4Realz | May 16, 2008 at 08:37 PM
I must say that while I was rooting for Cleveland, the refs were a little less than kind to Boston.
There's a good chance we'll be seeing Detroit in the finals.
Posted by: Tsphere | May 16, 2008 at 08:37 PM
One of the best things about this game so far is seeing how the Lakers are responding to a challenge to what is, quite frankly, not their strongest suit: physical hoops (some might call it rugby). Not whining to refs (although merited in many cases, in my opinion, during many of the first four games).
And, if they can keep the level of play up, they emerge from this series much, much stronger and TOUGHER.
Posted by: onanoman | May 16, 2008 at 08:37 PM
Great pass, Kobe to Gasol....
We gotta build this lead guys!!
Posted by: #4 | May 16, 2008 at 08:37 PM
Man, Lakers offense is running like a smooth machine. I love it!
Posted by: KimD | May 16, 2008 at 08:37 PM
The crowd is STUNNED! It's pretty quiet there compared to the start of the game.
GO LAKERS!
Posted by: Bzar | May 16, 2008 at 08:39 PM

sadly for the rest of the league, I don't think he has to be %100 to do that.
someone help me out here. Is Ariza in uniform? Cause if we are up by 20+ in the fourth is would be a good time to get him some work.
Posted by: phred | May 16, 2008 at 08:41 PM
You extend the lead by playing conservatively. You get no points for spinning behind the back passes. We've got this one and can only lose it through stupid play. Champions are smart.
LETS GOOOOOOO LAKERS!!!
Posted by: JohnnyP | May 16, 2008 at 08:41 PM
Omigosh...did u see that spin Kobe put down just now...Pau loss the ball but that would been crazy had he completed that...Kobe is off the chain!

wth i'd like kobe's agz... no hesitation.. PICK UP THE POISON..... BWAHAHAHAHA LAL NITE TONITE....
Posted by: joetoronto | May 16, 2008 at 08:42 PM
The offense is flowing...they need to keep up the intensity on D.
Posted by: Janet | May 16, 2008 at 08:42 PM
What's really positive in relation to game 4 is that we're making free throws, although Kobe has now missed 2 (but 80% is still ok). If the game gets close later on, we won't regret it.
