Audio on the Fish thing

A couple little notes before tip:

  • LO indeed is sick, and in this reporter's opinion would fully qualify for "like a dog" status.  He's going to play, but how well he does is anyone's guess.  I reminded him that Jordan always had incredible games when he was fighting bugs, and certainly Kobe has had some success, too.  So by that standard, he ought to go off for 40/25/18.
  • Fish is indeed going to suit up and play.
  • Eric Pincus tells me Vic the Brick was upset about something having to do with bamboo.  Not sure exactly what or why, but it certainly makes sense.  VTB is indeed passionate about bamboo.

I guess we're going to ride this ship into this storm!

What would you do with a drunken sailor? What would you do with a drunken sailor?

BK,

it's the curse of the bamboo lol

nah, it was meant to be a bamboo that showed the Laker's warrior strength and I believe Vic gave Phil the bamboo Sunday in that game against the GS Warriors. Needless to say the radio personalities are jokingly blaming the bamboo for all the Laker's losses against GS and Bobcats because the Lakers have been lost twice in a row at Staples since Vic showed the Lakers the "bamboo."

Well, hopefully the Lakers can prove today that the bamboo is indeed not cursed.

With LO, Fish and probably Kobe not at 100%, will Benga, Karl and Newboy save the day for the Lakers? Stay tuned.

BK

Any word on Ira Newble's status? When is that cat going to play?

Game time!

Lets Roll!!!

The Lakers have more foot and leg problems than any other team. Do these guys need Dr. Scholl's or something because we're certainly not gellin'.

Gametime everyone, go Lakers!!!

BK,

Bamboo is taking over the world. Haven't you heard? It's like a cross between kudzu and "Attack of the Killer Tomatoes" without the great musical score.

GO LAKERS!

Hope coaches tell Mbenga to roll to the basket after shots likes Kobes to get in rebounding position.

LO playing strong D

Kobe bringing it tonight. Got to put tese guys away early.

Maybe he had received some bad scouting reports which caused him to screw up his brackets, and he thought that he had been bamboozled.

While both grew up in St. Louis without NBA basketball, Andrew became a die hard Lakers fanatic after moving to L.A. to attend USC. That he managed to find a job requiring him to obsess over his favorite team, the same activity that prompted him to waste time while working other jobs, is pretty incredible. As for Brian, his baptism into pro hoops fandom has been provided by the "All Lakers, All The Time" citizens of Los Angeles. Beats the hell out of covering the Bucks.
