Real Time Game Thread - Lakers vs. Raptors

In all the excitement, I forgot there was actually a game happening.  Remember, don't look here if you plan on watching the delayed feed.

Maybe the news will pump them up tonight short handed.

lol, didn't we all.

GO Lakers!

LET'S GO LAKERS!

LET'S GO!

LET'S GO LAKERS!

LET'S GO!

GO LAKERS!

Good start: Kobe's 4 for 4, 8 pts. A blocked shot there by Turiaf. The dunk by Odom off Radman's pass.

Go Lakers!

Still extremely happy!

:)

GO LAKERS!

I'm excited as everyone else (except for one obvious individual who shall
remain nameless) about the trade. I really thing Pau will fit well into our
system. This trade always made the most sense out of all the proposed
trade scenarios. Does Mitch have one more rabbit to pull out of his hat?
We shall see.

C'mon Lakers! I feel a 50 point game for Kobe coming on.

Links! I need links. You expect me to actually work at the office.

me too Jon K!

Go Lakers!

Goodluck team! Time to hit the freeway and catch the LA feed. Had to check in for a quick peek! AK hold a note up for Kobe and tell him since were short handed so its okay to go for 82 tonight!

Was told that Gasol may have on and off back problems anything serious?

only dressing 10... including Walton.

.,.ah, it's fun to see Ronny start finally...

Lakers are looking pretty good right now with nice passing for easy baskets. They need to run the Raptors off the three point line though and attack the basket on the offensive end. We need balance in scoring tonight. The Raptors team look like a bunch of lightweights with all their players looking rail thin.

PAU!!!! Mother Fathering PAU GASOL!!

Sorry had to let that out.

...how bout that Ronny! Pretty underrated. And actually considering his contract, another great move by Kupchak!!

Game? Who, what, where?

Wonder if Mbenga and the other Karl get to play any tonight?

the alchemist element ,

www.channelsurf.net

GO LAKERS!

OMG I THOUGHT THIS WAS A DREAM!

I just woke up to see this headline...

WE GOT GASOL FOR KWAME!!!!! I TAKE ALLL THAT STUFF BACK

Mitch CupKING!!!!

YOU ARE THE CHAMPION GM!!!

OMG I LOVE U

GO LAKERS 2008 CHAMPIONS!!!

Ronny is playing some nice D tonight. He already has a couple of blocks and is doing a pretty good job on Bosh. Lakers must run them off the three point line and force them into the paint where the Predator(Turiaf)is roaming.

Mbenga attack!

GO LAKERS!

Thanks Jon K. I always seem to to forget the site. Got it bookmarked now :)

An Mbenga sighting? I'd like to see if he can get better production than Kwame.

#4 <----one who still wonders if the "M" is silent in Mbenga.

#4 I think any of us bloggers could get better production than Kwame, and Im white slow old and cant jump

Sasha likes being a laker.

Laker Lover- sadly, I'm pretty sure you're right.

Where's Gunner.

Oh that's right, he'ill only show up if the Lakers play badly.

So far so good. The lights are on, and the cockroaches are staying away.

Toronto doesn't really play much D, eh?

Bargnani could be the next Nowitzki.

Lamar is playing like the trade deadline in near!

GO LAKERS!

Never used this channel surfing.com thing. Pretty handy!

BK

I haven't seen Gasol play too much. Isn't he just a hairier version of Mihm? And does anyone know how his injuries have been healing?

Either way, change is always exciting. Now, do Phil and Tex Winter have "la habilidad para explicar el triangulo en espanol"?

i just spotted MIKE T on the girzzlies blog tryin to convince people that kwame is the next franchise player

Stu (or was it Joel) made a comment about how Kobe is playing with tons
of energy... my response, "Yeah, he feels a lot lighter without the albatross
that is Kwame hanging around his neck".

Go Lakers!

Kobe's a happy camper, I dare say?

Dunking like a maniac.

We need better D from LO.

His man is punking us out.

Ya, Kobe looks energized. Looks like he's bought back in, wouldn't you say?

Where's the Raptors "Barney the Dinosaur" mascot?

Stupidest thing ever.

GO LAKERS!

How does this www.channelsurf.net work?

Marty,

sorry dude but that's an insult to Gasol haha, jk. He's no Kobe, as we can all see (he's ballin!) but he's a very good player.

He can shoot over you, he can shoot from the inside, and when so inclined he's a very good shot blocker.

Bad shooting night for Fish so far... hopefully it'll turn around for him in the
2nd half.

BTW, as others have noticed, that Kobe kid is pretty good.

Kobe's on fire. He's got that championship competition thing burning in his skull.

GO LAKERS!

the machine!

Kobe's on fire! I missed that explosiveness of his. Go Kobe!

Laker Lover,

www.channelsurfing.net

Just scroll down and you'll see the Lakers Versus Toronto link.

GO LAKERS!

Bzar, good one!

Booing Works! No more Kwame!

No need to punch a player in the throat or have a teammate beat them up.

Sasha!! Finally looks like he belongs on the court. Glad he skipped the Euro championships (he was invited on for slovenian national team) to work on his game.

loved the 1st half. Kobe seems re-energized knowing he will soon have some legit help when Bynum and Ariza return and Gasol suits up. If not for Bargnani being left open on the 3 pt line, lead coulda been much bigger. Hope Fish can find a groove in the second half.

By the way does anyone know when Pau will actually get to start playing?
sucks being so short handed tonight

is there a user name and password to login?

It's hard to concentrate on this game ... my mind keeps drifting to thoughts of Pau Gasol ... I like everyone on this team now ... I don't hate Lamar Odom so much ... I helped a Grandma cross the street today.... Have you ever noticed how many birds there are in the sky, and how many flowers there around us? ...

URL please.
