Please don't spoil it for me.
Go Lakers!
Posted by: Faith | February 05, 2008 at 05:46 PM
Let's go fellas!
Posted by: Bynumite | February 05, 2008 at 05:46 PM
Is it sad that LO's accidental elbow packs more of a punch than Carmelo's girly punch?
lol.
Posted by: Faith | February 05, 2008 at 05:47 PM
Eh Stu, it's G-man's first hoop. Off an offensive rebound no less.
What a sight to see.
Posted by: Faith | February 05, 2008 at 05:49 PM
Kobe's no quit. Nice!
Posted by: Faith | February 05, 2008 at 05:50 PM
Lo to Pau!
Ka-Pau!
Posted by: Faith | February 05, 2008 at 05:52 PM
Need to play better D.
Posted by: Faith | February 05, 2008 at 05:54 PM
Dang, early foul trouble for Pau.
Stop Nutbar! Please!
Posted by: Faith | February 05, 2008 at 05:55 PM
STOP Nutbar! Seriously!
Posted by: Faith | February 05, 2008 at 05:56 PM
Wow, nice block by Kobe, that was a gimme basket for Kidd
Posted by: Bynumite | February 05, 2008 at 05:56 PM
How hard is it to cover Nutbar? The guy settles for jumpers.
Posted by: Faith | February 05, 2008 at 05:57 PM
Stop shooting 3s, we got the advantage in the paint.
OMG Ronny!
Posted by: Faith | February 05, 2008 at 05:58 PM
Vlad, if you want to play, you need to stay on your man!
You can't help off the help...stay on him!
Posted by: Faith | February 05, 2008 at 05:58 PM
Ronny's developing into a block machine.
"Nutbar" killing the Lakers
Posted by: Bynumite | February 05, 2008 at 05:58 PM
IT's on Luke now to stay on Nutbar.
He doesn't fake. Just stay home!
Posted by: Faith | February 05, 2008 at 06:00 PM
Come on Luke. GO after the ball!
Posted by: Faith | February 05, 2008 at 06:00 PM
Come on Lakers!
Bust a nut! haha.
Posted by: Faith | February 05, 2008 at 06:01 PM
How does a team with Jason Kidd, Vince Carter, Richard Jefferson and Nutbar have a 20-27 record in the awful East?
Even worse, how does a 20-27 record earn you a Playoff spot?
Posted by: Bynumite | February 05, 2008 at 06:02 PM
We're doing an ok job challenging easy shots.
But we need to do a better mental job on staying home on shooters.
Posted by: Faith | February 05, 2008 at 06:03 PM
I think I found the game, though it's delayed some:

does it work?
If not, try this and go to the 8:30 NBA post on the left side.

I don't like our D right now.
We're not doing a good job on staying home shooters. Let them have the layup, we got good players on the paint to block those shots.
Posted by: Faith | February 05, 2008 at 06:06 PM
Looks like just you and me here for now Faith...suppose everybody else is in the Live Game :)
The Nets normally don't shoot THIS good.
Posted by: Bynumite | February 05, 2008 at 06:06 PM
Tough break by Sasha.
Posted by: Faith | February 05, 2008 at 06:06 PM
Jordan: Pau who?
Posted by: Faith | February 05, 2008 at 06:07 PM
Allowing the Nets to shoot 50% has absolutely nothing to do with Pau or his defense.
It has to do with our Forwards lagging on D. STAY HOME!
Posted by: Faith | February 05, 2008 at 06:08 PM
woops...
this one...
look for 8:30 NBA on left side and click:

And Wes.
We can do it! We're the 3 musketeers!
Posted by: Faith | February 05, 2008 at 06:10 PM
Bad pass!
Posted by: chuckjr | February 05, 2008 at 06:10 PM
Jordan's shooting the lights out... as he has been.
I have no idea how he picked up some a nice shooting touch seemingly over the summer.
Posted by: Bynumite | February 05, 2008 at 06:11 PM
Good recognition by Jordan.
Posted by: Faith | February 05, 2008 at 06:12 PM
Pau is an 82% FT shotter too!
Damn, I miss Kwame!
JK
Posted by: Big_AL | February 05, 2008 at 06:13 PM
LO has been shooting jumpers more confident of late.
Now if we can only play better D.
Posted by: Faith | February 05, 2008 at 06:14 PM
They say you can always learn to shoot...playing defense however...you have to have certain strengths.
That should bode well for Trevor as our future enforcer.
You know who I'd like to see Trevor learning from? Rick Fox. There's a dude.
Posted by: Faith | February 05, 2008 at 06:15 PM
Jordan to Sasha: I can shoot/score anybody.
Posted by: Faith | February 05, 2008 at 06:17 PM
I miss Kwame's big bod. That's about it lol.
Posted by: Faith | February 05, 2008 at 06:18 PM
Lamar screams like he's dieing when he gets fouled haha.
Posted by: Bynumite | February 05, 2008 at 06:18 PM
Rick Fox was one tough dude I gotta admit. Never got the credit he deserved for the championships.
He's a pretty boy but not at the same time.
Posted by: Bynumite | February 05, 2008 at 06:20 PM
Ugly from Jefferson.
Defense! Come on!
Posted by: Faith | February 05, 2008 at 06:20 PM
Some great Laker passing going on right now.
Nets are starting to miss shots....nice.
Posted by: Bynumite | February 05, 2008 at 06:21 PM
I'll take that play by Jordan...coz he did a good job on the other need Recognizing the deflection.
Posted by: Faith | February 05, 2008 at 06:21 PM
I'm loving the activity of Lamar.
Funny with Kwame gone, so has the complacency.
Posted by: Faith | February 05, 2008 at 06:23 PM
I think Lamar's feel left out of the Big 3 conversation of Kobe, Bynum and Pau.
LO best player on the court right now.
Posted by: Bynumite | February 05, 2008 at 06:24 PM
what happened to kobe's hand?
Posted by: Lakers Legacy | February 05, 2008 at 06:25 PM
lol. So true. He's pretty and talented.
Actually little known fact he was captain of the championship teams. Always interesting to hear that, you'd think it'd be Shaq. But nope.
Posted by: Faith | February 05, 2008 at 06:26 PM
Shitaki mushroom. Kobe's going to the lockeroom
Posted by: Faith | February 05, 2008 at 06:28 PM
No Bynum,
No Ariza,
Midst of a 9-game road trip,
Kobe with 6 pts,
Lakers still lead going into the 4th!
Rest of the NBA,
Be afraid, be VERY afraid!
Posted by: Big_AL | February 05, 2008 at 06:29 PM
Don't worry LO you're part of the FANTASTIC FOUR.
Sasha's having a down game. Good D though.
Posted by: Faith | February 05, 2008 at 06:30 PM
Faith,
I'm pretty sure Shaq was one of the co-captains.
AK
Posted by: Andrew Kamenetzky | February 05, 2008 at 06:30 PM
Rick Fox was a Captain on the Laker teams? Didn't know that.
Kobe with a dislocated joint, not good. Left or right hand anybody?
Posted by: Bynumite | February 05, 2008 at 06:32 PM
damn, kobe dislocated his pinky finger. whats up with our injury bug???
