Groundhog Day for Chris Mihm
But unlike Phil Connors' adventures in Puxatawney, there's nothing particularly hilarious about Mihm continuing to wake up on an operating table. Hopefully, today's successful operation on his right heel can put to rest a never ending string of foot related problems. To say the least, it's been a trying season for the center.
The official press release from the Lakers is below the jump.

I feel it will be Mihm and Coby on the IR for the playoff Roster.

I'd rather have the Lakers resign Kwame than Mihm next year. No disrespect to Mihm, but we still need a big body down in the post. Chris is rather feeble and his decision making is at times within the same capability as Kwame.

Dwight,
It depends on which one you are looking for. The cheapest ones start at around 55+

BK,
From the previous thread, I read the article.
Kobe said this: ``The adjustment that he's going to have to make is how does he become a threat in the post and make teams collapse and how to make your teammates better consistently. When you're the lone ranger out there, it's tough. He's in a position I was in a couple of years ago where I had to put up 35, 37 points just to keep us in the ballgame. It's physically and emotionally draining.''
My response: I find this paragraph inconsistent. I
understand what he's trying to say. I agree that
you need to give your teammates a chance to
grow by giving them the ball in situations where
they can be successful.
I have stated before and
I will state again: You *cannot* make someone else
better. They have to do it themselves. Passing the
ball more to Farmar wouldn't have made Farmar
better last year. Farmar working out this summer
made Farmar better this year. Kobe passing Farmar
the ball this year allows what is inside to manifest.
The best example I can give is: Smush Parker.
Thanks for the link.
