Lakerdawg, you don't need to tell me it's like 2 (Kobe and Fish) against 5 Sonics. 3 garbage players, thanks to Kobe and Drew looking almost respectfull ball-wise.

waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!! overtime... i dont think our starter can handle this.. they were tired.. my goodness...
Posted by: darkhangelsk | January 14, 2008 at 09:30 PM
What was dumber, Durant's early shot or the Lakers lack of a 2 for 1??
Posted by: pslakerfan | January 14, 2008 at 09:30 PM
Another 5 minutes of gouging my eyes out. Play some D!
Posted by: Ben Goldberg | January 14, 2008 at 09:30 PM
Kwame Brown is an oozing, throbbing pustule on the rear end of the NBA and he’s playing center for the 14 time world champs. Mikan, Wilt, Kareem, Shaq, Bynum …. Kwame Brown!! OMG!!
Posted by: HmrHed | January 14, 2008 at 09:31 PM
kwame shouldn't play a second of this overtime. No way.
Posted by: troy | January 14, 2008 at 09:31 PM
Lets go team. Sup everyone
Posted by: Paul Lee | January 14, 2008 at 09:31 PM
OT. Here we come. I feel better. We'll win this.
GO LAKERS!
Posted by: Jon K. | January 14, 2008 at 09:31 PM
O.T.......... that was Kobe's first turnover of the night.
Posted by: bronxlakerfan | January 14, 2008 at 09:31 PM
And this is how it'll be for the next 8 weeks... playing harder than we have
to against sub-500 teams... being pushed to OT... no balance in scoring.
Posted by: Bzar | January 14, 2008 at 09:31 PM
ZEN I know, what can we do against the P&R O dom goes way out.....Please lets get the win boys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Posted by: Bret | January 14, 2008 at 09:31 PM
No foul on Kobe, I'm not supprised
Posted by: LAL_Fan | January 14, 2008 at 09:31 PM
Kobe should be able to get 50 shots off by the end of overtime. When was the last time a player shot 50 times in a game? Kobe fans keep insisting that this is the only way we can win but how are we to know if no other players get any shots. Jordan has shot well and fisher is in their , what excuse do you guys have for Fisher only getting 9 shots at this point. Kobe is a great player but until he can make teammates better he is not going to make this team better.

Can fricken Ariza, Kwame, or The Critter score a fricken basket so we can win this game?
GO LAKERS!
Posted by: Jon K. | January 14, 2008 at 09:32 PM
Oh boy, how can this happen overnight?
Posted by: Ben Goldberg | January 14, 2008 at 09:33 PM
I wonder if Sonics trade Collison for LO, we can give them Kwame for FREE!!!
Posted by: LAL_Fan | January 14, 2008 at 09:33 PM
Tushar 24/7,
Could you explain how your link works or simply stop posting it? It takes me to a page where there is no choice for basketball. But for those of us who use Firefox the long URL makes the blog unreadable.
Posted by: Tsphere | January 14, 2008 at 09:33 PM
kwame brown is making nick collison look like a 10 year all star out there
Posted by: mike | January 14, 2008 at 09:34 PM
what the hell... kobe was triple team and then he pass to luke can't convert the shot?
Posted by: darkhangelsk | January 14, 2008 at 09:34 PM
lakers never win in overtimes :( not when we finish 4th q. standing around watching Kobe
Posted by: tim | January 14, 2008 at 09:34 PM

Did I mention how I feel about Luke?
Posted by: me | January 14, 2008 at 09:35 PM
LO has some poor body language when he was substituted for.
Posted by: bronxlakerfan | January 14, 2008 at 09:35 PM
From now until Drew returns I'm picking up whatever big man is playing against the Lakers for my fantasy team. We're making Collison look like an all star.
Posted by: Xodus | January 14, 2008 at 09:35 PM
CornerJ,
Yeah, it's tough dealing with Amare and Nash without Bynum. Oh wait, that's Collison and Ridnour..... d'oh
Posted by: McGarnagle | January 14, 2008 at 09:36 PM
jon,
Don't repeat media crap. "Making better", you can not make garbage better!!! Period, just pickup trash and try to make into something useful, does not work this way. Can not make LO, Kwame, Luke better. Period
Posted by: LAL_Fan | January 14, 2008 at 09:36 PM
Dude Kwame a clutch, he can shoot free throw.. Damn good.. lol..
Posted by: trio | January 14, 2008 at 09:36 PM
Tushar 24/7,
Could you explain how your link is supposed to work or simply stop posting it? It takes me to a page where there is no choice for basketball. But as others have pointed out, for those of us who use Firefox, it makes the blog unreadable.

Every basket the Sonics get is worse than the last one.
Posted by: Ben Goldberg | January 14, 2008 at 09:36 PM
Come on, guys! You can do this.
GO LAKERS!
Posted by: Jon K. | January 14, 2008 at 09:37 PM
Tsphere, it works, but you need to use IE
Posted by: McGarnagle | January 14, 2008 at 09:37 PM
i dont think we can win here....
Posted by: darkhangelsk | January 14, 2008 at 09:37 PM
This is a difference between our fronline and Sonics, garbage vs. good role players.
Posted by: LAL_Fan | January 14, 2008 at 09:37 PM
kwame is making free throws, wow ,
Posted by: jon | January 14, 2008 at 09:37 PM
Can anybody tell me why Lamar and Kwame never jumps on defense and contests shots?? Lakers eed to get rid of Lamar and Kwame and get those mole outa here!!
Posted by: ma | January 14, 2008 at 09:38 PM
Tsphere and Tushar,
The link worked for me, using I.E.
Posted by: exhelodrvr | January 14, 2008 at 09:38 PM
Only Kobe will save this for us, because our defense won't do it.
Posted by: Ben Goldberg | January 14, 2008 at 09:38 PM
our free throw defense may win this one for us, well along with Kobe if he stays hot.
Posted by: jon | January 14, 2008 at 09:39 PM
We're mentally tougher.
Come on, guys! Win this.
GO LAKERS!!
Posted by: Jon K. | January 14, 2008 at 09:39 PM
I know it's ball hoggin, but damn it's pretty, so pretty!!
Posted by: pslakerfan | January 14, 2008 at 09:39 PM
You guys are complaining...I would rather live and die with Kobe shooting the ball than passing to Walton...or better yet Kwame...this is what he gets paid the big bucks
for.
Posted by: LakerGurl | January 14, 2008 at 09:39 PM
Those last two shots are what Kobe is all about. Yeah, we don't need him shooting 50 times a night, but we sure need his courage and cojones.
Posted by: bronxlakerfan | January 14, 2008 at 09:39 PM
wow kobe!!!! i dont really care you're overshooting.. you're really a crazy scorer... how did you do that shot???
Posted by: darkhangelsk | January 14, 2008 at 09:39 PM
Tsphere,
i think youre talkin about: www.channelsurfing.net which i just found out about and cant believe
doesnt seem to work in mozilla.. so go with internet explorer if you can. and should find the game if you scroll down to the bottom. just click
and it should open up in another window. hope that helps.
GO LAKERS

I am in chicago and am following the game on ESPN gamecast and this is making me so incredibly anxious. All i can see is stats and they look god awful. LO 3/14 fg.
Plain frustrating
Posted by: LosAngeles Jakers | January 14, 2008 at 09:40 PM
We have 3 people on the team who looks like did not get message about stepping up. We had no post defense today
Posted by: LAL_Fan | January 14, 2008 at 09:40 PM
Fish got a little excited, but the Lakers get another chance.
Posted by: Ben Goldberg | January 14, 2008 at 09:40 PM
I MISS BYNUM! and it has only been one game!
Time to talk about the negatives that have been exposed by Bynum's absence---
Odom is not a second option. If Lakers wanted a big guy two years ago, they should have given up Odom and not Butler. I MISS BUTLER!
Posted by: Tom | January 14, 2008 at 09:41 PM
He passes and they miss...twice!
Posted by: LakerGurl | January 14, 2008 at 09:41 PM
McGarnagle,
Thanks for solving the mystery.
Posted by: Tsphere | January 14, 2008 at 09:41 PM
In love with the 3
