Lamar Odom vows to crush kb24.com!!!

Actually, LO said nothing of the sort, but he's probably still excited about the launch of his new official website, www.lamarodom.com.  It's chock full of features about Lamar, cool video, links to Rich Soil (Lamar's music and clothing label), Laker updates and oodles of other Odom related goodies.  There's also info about Cathy's Kids, Lamar's foundation devoted to both cancer research and helping underprivileged NYC and L.A. kids.  Check it out and see whatcha think.

The site was created by Athlete Interactive (www.athleteinteractive.com), a web development company focused solely on athlete websites.  Founded by sportswriter David Neiman, the company prides itself on a strong sports I.Q. to complement its design skills.  To my knowledge, they plan to work exclusively with pro athletes, but if any reader is kicking particularly huge ass in beer league softball and fancies his or herself on the verge of a major breakout, give Athlete Interactive a shout.  I'm guessing they'll pass, but you never know until you ask.

The Lamar website is cool and Lamar is next to KB24 my favorite player, but it would seem to me that Lamar should be concentrating on getting well and getting ready for the playoffs. Win a round or two and then think about websites, besides it's kind of late in the season to be launching this. He should have either launched it at the beginning of the season or waited.

The only thing I am excited more than LO website is actually the way Lakers are playing now !

Albert, the only thing you forgot to do is to put a lol at the end of your comment.

Cool site. But the real question: Is Sasha gonna get SashaV.com?

Didn't like the site, it's to crowded, to many info in a small space.

It's not done well, it's to heavy, hard on the eye.

lakofan you are high .... this SITE is MONEYYYYY!!!

HOW MANY SMUSH PARKER`S DOES IT TAKE TO TURN A LIGHT BULB?.................................6......AND THAT`S HOW HIGH THE LAKER`S FRONT OFFICE`S I.Q. IS FOR THINKING THAT SMUSH(SLOW)PARKER COULD LEAD THIS TEAM AT POINT GUARD.S.PARKER BELONGS IN THE D-LEAGE..........IF CUP-CAKE HAS ANY BRAINS......DRAFT ARRON BROOKS THIS KID IS A CANT MISS AND WOULD MAKE SMUSH INTO SLUSH.

ajax, don't worry about sashav.com, cause i'm putting the finishing touches on that. it wont be an official site, just a fan site. lol

i've never seen a more ill-fated season... never seen so many injuries in a season... and even on the back of killer kobe we're 4 and 6 in our last 10. i still like our chances against the spurs or suns, but the chances of us making some real noise deep in the playoffs is slim and none... and slim just got traded to the clippers. at this point, i would almost welcome a complete playoff strike-out with the draft pick it would carry, rather than watch my beloved purple and gold pared down in the first or second round. i believed in this team early, but you gotta face facts sometime.... we're just not clicking on all, or even most, cylinders.

even a totally healthy laker squad would face serious matchup problems against mavs, pistons, heat, etc etc, ad infinitum. ad nauseum. blaugh.

still, *&%! it, i'm going to root my ass off these final four games, proudly remount my lakers flag on the window of my truck, and pray. i just hope this offseason brings some pleasant surprises. hell, i hope this season brings some pleasant surprises, but damn if i haven't been disappointed, kicked in the guts, by this team far too many times this year.

sigh.

anyway, screw lamar odom's website. who gives a damn? i'm not a cheerleader and the only thing i want from lamar is consistency a la scottie pippen. is that too much to ask from this guy with all the talent in the world?

ack.

come on people? Why all the negativity? Can't we all just get along?

Yeah, the team is suffering, but thats jus how it goes somettimes you know? that don't mean that you throw the team under the bus and just give up. what a bunch of whining fair weather fans. it makes me laugh to see so many of you fools getting off the bandwagon.

and a shout out to LO...you may be struggling but that site is nice homey!

lakofan -

Don't agree with you.

Think the LO wesite is very cool. Looks great to me!!!

Lakers win the rest of the way!!!

GO LAKE SHOW!!!

Team is suffering = WE are suffering.

When you're a total neurotic and your happiness (partly) depends on how our team plays, then you gotta suffer right now. Gödämmit! It feels like being betrayed by your woman, you know? (Guess you gotta be quite sick to agree with that...)

Anyway, it feels like shizzit and this season has been a TOTAL letdown. First we were c**kteased by the fantastic start, just to have this injury nightmare come and slap us in the face. And the lack of effort and D makes me wanna go Patrick Bateman on my laptop (yeah, I watch my games on it). This team has heart like Dick Cheney! Just a bunch of sorry kids getting schooled by the entire league.

And now Kobe has gone human on us = no hope at all... I thought he just realized it took for him to score 175 points/game for us to win, but still he tries to play team ball. Save us now, artist-formerly-known-as-ocho! His out-of-this-world-play during march was the ABSOLUTE highlight of the season! Yes, I'm sorry to say that 'cause I'd rather have a championship but you know...

Guess Vman is pretty excited, even though it's not a concious effort to tank the season, that we are flirting with lottery. ;-)

LO looks injured so he's hiding his left shoulder. The silhoutte is black, he's in mourning, it's very surreal. What does clothes design got to do with heart basketball. I expect a progessional player to play good basketball that be a good kids' clothing designer. If I want a good designer I will not go to basketball player but to coutourier there in Berverly Hills. Besides, athletes are tall people, one leg of their pants could fit a 10 year old kid.

I think this is capitalism at its best. When you cannot play good basketball, you comouflaged it with websites, CD and clothes designing patterned after the Christies'.

Mamba24

Absolutely LOL !!!!
Talking about great timing for launching a website ! LOL

lakofan

Does a website give you a specific date LO is going to reach *his full potential * ? LOL

Bunch of party poopers on this thread arent we?

youve got to admit its a pretty nice site....

LOL on the SashaV website. He's got a fan club, that much I know...and no I didn't create it lol.

As for LO's website good for him...if anything it puts out his charity out there.

albert,

We can only wish that would be the case.

The bad thing about Lamar is that he gets distracted easily, so for him to have so many things on his plate, it takes away from his game, He's way to emotional.

His focus should be on basketball

cool sites: kb24.com and lamarodom.com
am a laker fan, win or lose.
they can still beat the suns in the first round. have faith.
i'm actually thinking that the lakers are trying to secure the seventh seed so they can avenge their first round playoff loss to the suns last year. they can win this time, i knew it.
phoenix suns is a regular season team to beat, but not supposed to be a playoff team to beat. lakers can still beat these guys.
have faith!

I really don't think it's a good idea to trade BOTH lamar and bynum for jermaine o'neal if that deal does go down. Lakers are giving up way too much for o'neal and i feel like lamar was playing so well before he got injured. He's still pretty young and I feel like lakers should be building around kobe and lamar. will o'neal make that much of a difference?
