Beware!!!
You must keep up your 'Purple & Gold' force training so you can resist the 'Stupid Side' of the force. 'Darth Steven', 'Master of the Stupid Side' is on the prowl for more followers of is insidious 'Stupid Side'.
His most powerful 'Stupid Power Words' are the following:
'The MOST DOMINANT EVER', & 'The TRUTH'
He uses his stupid powers to disguise the real translation, 'The Most Stupid Poster Ever' & 'That's the Real Truth and Nothing but the Truth'
You can return to the path of righteousness by using your common sense and actually doing some research into basketball. Get plenty of DVD's on the history of the 'Purple & Gold' and you will be immune to 'Steven's Stupid Side Powers'.
I felt a confluence in the 'Purple & Gold' and it has revealed to me a link describing the Lakers signing 'Devin Green'

May the 'Purple & Gold' be with you always!!!!

Faith,
Just curious...did you pick an NFL team to root for?
I know this is the wrong thread, but when the cats are away...

Eric Pincus,
Thanks for the tip. Seeing how many minutes he was playing in SPL, I knew he was on board. I don't think it was until the last game or two that Socks finally clocked more playing time than him.

The Lamar Show,
Kobe is listed at 220 in the game. I guessing thats accurate cuz last year they had hm at 210-215. Those extra pounds should help him bang and absorb hits.

Dan the man,
No I haven't. lol. I have to say I'm impressed with NO right now...they're doing something special out there. But I know I have to find a (semi) local team lol.
----------------------
I'm not against signing Green...after all dude had a full year under the triangle, and he is earmarked to be a 3, as opposed to a 1 or 2. But seriosly, we have like 17 people, or 16 people signed now (with the understanding that Turiaf and Smush will probably be guaranteed shortly). What is Mitch doing? lol.

I'm assuming the K bros are in Denver for the Dodgers series with the Rockies? Go Blue!

Green signing with the Lakers.....What does it all mean?
It means first, that the Lakers now have 18 signed players on the roster which is 3 more than they will be able to keep by the start of the season. Secondly, it means that the Lakers have not totally made up their minds yet as to which players will remain on the roster buy the start of the season. Thirdly, it means that training camp will have an extra sense of competitiveness as each of the guards signed will be fighting for a spot. This should make for an interesting training camp.
I have not been secretive as it relates to my thoughts on the 15 spots. I have repeatedly stated who I not only believe but hope also will make the 15 player roster. That has not changed. However, the fact that they have left the door open, does bring in an interesting twist to this whole thing. Could the Lakers still be holding out for one more trade sometime during training camp. IF the Lakers were to decide to go with Pinnock or Green, that would mean that somebody else would have to go like McKie. I wonder if they would be able to work a trade for a couple guys at the last minute.
Should be interesting.

The Lamar Show,
Those pictures of Sasha and Caveman are awesome!
Go Clippers!
GO LAKERS!

Hmmm... 18 signed players? Green?
Something is afoot.
GO LAKERS!

Indeed, this is Lakers strategy this season, populate the team with more players, more coaches that may result to more fans that is if they include the clan of these players and coaches. Lol! I wish they would add one more player by the name of Laron Profit that makes 19 players vying for 15 spots. That would be good for the team as well as the D'Fenders, if those who are not taken will be willing to play in the D'League. With the addition of Jim Cleamons in the coaching staff, there are four asistants and one staff assistant on KAJ, the more teachers the merrier it will be. Boy, they will be crowding the bench so some coaches in coat-and-tie may be seating on the floor. They cannot afford to occupy a $2,000 floor seat, haha, it only happens in LA!

Hopefully Devin Green means no Aaron McKie or Shammond Williams.

With 18 or 19 players, I think there's some moves in the air. Perhaps, Mitch has a surprise for us!
Let's check! I'm really curious!!

Signing Green for purposes of adding him in as a filler for a multi-player trade so we can recieve one solid veteran? Hmm makes sense and I actually like the idea!
I mean, I like Green he has a lot of potential. I rather get rid of Mckie and Wafer anyday tho =)
Posted by: Blaze1bx | September 26, 2006 at 10:09 AM
rubin,
shammond william's got a 1 year garanteed contract so he'll be on for sure. and whats wrong with him? some who has nba experience is gotta be better than rookies such as green. why would you want green over shammond?
