What Steve Kerr Thinks

October 19, 2005 |  2:01 pm

Yahoo!

Sharpshooter turned columnist Steve Kerr of Yahoo! Sports has his Pacific Division preview at the ready, with the Lakers coming in at 3rd (scroll down to find the Clips), and a chance to move up because of weakness at the top of the division.

Linked to Kerr's picks are Matt Buser's Pacific Fantasy Sleepers.  Check them out if you're the type of person who reads about fantasy sports instead of working... and if you're reading this at 2:00 p.m., you probably are.

Anything Steve Kerr says about the Lakers is worthless. If Phil wasn't there he would pick them lower, because he's a Laker Hater.

I think to become an NBA analyst for nationally televised games, there should be requirements. How is Greg Anthony qualified to offer up criticism on how to win a championship, when his fingers are as bald as his head is. Not to mention Tim Legler, I am a true basketball fan and I'm having a hard time remembering what Tim Legler has accomplished. I think certain players can make it without rings, like Charles Barkley because he will go down as one of the greatest players of all time at his position. Steve Kerr also said the only way the only way that San Antonio won't win the Southwest division is if they have ego problems. Note to Steve, Houston has 2 players that San Antonio can't stop. That's why they play the game. I can't believe these guys get paid for voicing their opinions. Well let's put something at stake. All of you so called "qualified" analyst pick a team and if your team doesn't win, you're no longer qualified to analyze. I mean really how can Greg Anthony analyze McGrady,Kobe or Iverson when all of them have already accomplished more than he and Legler combined. Really guys, give it up. I guess you guys had plenty of practice analyzing games during your playing careers from the bench.
